20 Best 240Mm Water Cooler (2023 Update)

I dont work on pc's much but this water cooler is honestly the easiest thing i ever done. And works great my temps went from 40-50c idle 70-80con val 80-98 r6, to 20-25c idle 30-45 val and for R6 45 to 50 on rear occasions. Let alone. Custom gif cant give it up. If you have money laying around or put 25 to 50 aside eqch paycheck for a new cooler this is a wise choiceBenny

This little cooler is super cool! Literally! At first I thought the screen was a gimmick, but after giving it a shot it's so sweet! The convenience of having CPU and GPU temps on the display is just awesome. Putting on custom gifs is also pretty rad! Not only does the cooler look visually stunning, but it also has pretty stellar cooling performance. It keeps my 9900K well under 65C during heavy/long gaming sessions. The stock fans are sort of loud, but they do move a good amount of air. Nzxt cam software has also improved vastly over the years and runs without many bugs. Overall, a fantastic product!Saad

This went into a build where the heavy lifting is primarily media transcoding and data storage. Processor is an i9-K10850 10 core, over-clocked to 5 GHZ, with 50 TB of storage. I had good luck with Noctua coolers in the past, which is what I initially built with. But during transcodes with the clock speeds hitting 5 G, and the processor working at over 200 watts, it was totally inadequate. After reading various comparisons, I went with the Kraken and a 280 mm radiator. Since I hadn't really planned on an AIO device, 280 mm was as big as my cabinet could hold. While the pump mounted and installed fairly easily, I had to be a bit creative installing the radiator. It's in and working, and the temps at max usage are staying below 75 degrees C without extra fans, and still using a quieter setting for the fan and pump control. For future builds based on an i9 processor, I would probably go with the 320 mm radiator and choose an appropriate cabinet to hold it. The kit is complete, and the pump heat sink has the heat sink paste pre-applied. While there are myriad options for RGB on the pump, for me that isn't a priority, so I chose something pretty basic. I would recommend reading the documentation from NZXT before getting the kit to ensure your build will fully utilize the device.Tomm

Overall, product was well packaged and no issues with setup. Temp at idle is about 10C lower than an air cooler and while gaming (Halo Infinite at max settings with 3080ti) it idles around 35C. I would remove a star because the instructions are down right lacking but didn’t because the product functions really well. You are best off just watching a couple YouTube videos then really trying to follow the instructions. Overall completely satisfied. I’d take note at how you mount the pump and lines as there is a “right” way to do it even though NZXT claims it’s reversible. YouTube videos should go over this too.Miguel

I walked in looking for a new cooler to replace my stock AMD Prism. I was kind of hoping I could control myself and just by a cheaper Noctua cooler as opposed to something like an AIO water cooler. But as it goes with me, couldn't control myself. Turns out it, though, it was the best decision I could have made to go with a water cooler like the Kraken. Although more assembly is required for an AIO, it was an easy upgrade. the instructions were thorough and the quality of the hardware feels really nice with metal construction with a slick black finish, perfect for a stealthy build like mine. The amount of tools necessary is limited to just your screwdriver and your fingers for the thumbscrews, which makes me happy. But nothing made me happier than turning it on, because I couldn't hear a dang thing. It was silent, so silent that it caught me off guard knowing my computer wasn't gonna sound like a jet turbine while gaming or editing anymore. The temps are pretty solid too, idle temps stay around 27C (around 75F) and under load gets to about 65C MAX. Solid cooler.Ian W

Works well straight out of the box. I've used the X53 in the past but upgraded to this for the larger radiator (2×140 mm fans, too) and the RGB to utilize in my new case. You have to make sure you install it correctly or else air bubbles may accumulate and the AIO won't be as quiet as it can be – also long term use may create issues in the AIO. Just make sure the pump head with the NZXT logo is lower than the intake point on the radiator. I installed mine in an NZXT H510 Flow case and had no issues. You can rotate the NZXT logo display on the pump head unlike the previous X52/X53 versions of this AIO pump. My only issue with this product is the amount of cables connected to the pump head. There is a micro usb to mobo usb as well as a special connection that routes to CPU Fan and I believe SATA. Depending on your motherboard layout this can get annoying with cable management, but it is a slightly smaller cable now versus what NZXT used on the X52/X53. Also keep in mind with the RGB model you need to have the NZXT AER RGB 2 system controller for controlling the lighting using NZXT CAM software. The NZXT "i" cases come with this but not any others. You can still connect the fans normally with any mobo, but you need the controller for the RGB lighting. The fans daisy chain together with a nice short extension to let you do this within the confines of the radiator space, but that does take a bit of figuring out if you haven't hooked up RGB 2 fans by NZXT before. Rating 4 stars because of ease of installation/lack of super clear instructions, and the number of cables at the pump head that should be refined to make for cleaner setups.retroshelf

It's been doing its job, keeping my ryzen 5 5600x around mid to low 70s in more processor-heavy applications. It idles around 45 but the room my computer sits in has been pretty hot the past month or so, could be lower in a better-cooled room. The pump is built directly into the rad, so you don't have to worry about the pump cable running over your mobo from the block. Can't even hear the pump running, but that's probably because of the fans. The fans aren't the best, they've been pretty loud but I do have the rad top mounted in a push configuration. It was the only way I could make it fit and not kink the tubes. Fittings on the water block prevented me from having the logo facing the right direction because they pressed up against the ram. I'm using an MSI B550i itx board so check your clearances if the aesthetics are important to you. Honestly, switch out the fans for some noctuas and this is 5 stars.NathanJ529

Great AIO for its price, performs great, is not super loud, easy to install and looks clean. I would totally recommend this AIO not only because of the reasons listed above but also because the price is great, especially if you're a person whos using an AIO for purely aesthetic purposes, like with a 5600x. Minimalist design clean looking AIO, the EK fans it comes with while not the quietist push an exceptional amount of air I also have the 240mm in another system that gets heavy use and no issues so far.Matt N.

The EK Waterblocks are touted as some of the best AIO's right now, and this is one of the few without RGB and the sort. Perfect for the minimalist. I got it for the Ssupd Meshilicous which could have taken a 280mm radiator but the clearance is much better on this 240mm.Lochlan B.

Just FYI, I have been building PCs for myself and others for over 20 years, so I'm not some inexperienced person at building a gaming rig. I got this in late May 2019 for a new Ryzen build. I had noticed the fans making a bit of noise every once in a great while, but just dismissed it as possibly a cable maybe having popped out and being tapped by the fan (my system sits between my desk and a printer stand, so I can't actively look in it on a whim). Over time, it was becoming more and more frequent. I later upgraded the system a couple of times, and had to move the fans to accomodate some memory. A few days after having repositioning them, I started noticing the noise again (but this time louder as the fans were now outside of the case). I manipulated the case a bit and it alleviated the sound for a while, but it got worse over the course of a few more days. Finally, I got fed up with the noise frequency and was concerned with it not cooling my CPU properly. So, I took the worse of the two off while running, and the fan had a noticeable wobble and I could feel like the bearings were not good as something was rubbing/scraping as it spun slowing it down as it did. Feeling these fans in hand after I'd removed them, they felt cheap. I never noticed when installing them. I went to a local electronics chain, and bought a 3-pack of fans from another manufacturer whose LCS units I'd used many times before and never had issues of any kind. Things are all running well now that I replaced the stock fans with the other manufacturers' fans. I give it 3 eggs out of 5, due to the pump still working well (seemingly), the cooling capability being okay (43-45 idle, which is cooling a Ryzen 9 3900X), and the fans being on the cusp of failure after only about 6 months (I have other brands of LCS that their fans have lasted 10 years, and I've used them a LOT more). I don't know if this was a freak thing with this cooler, but basing it to just this experience I can not recommend this liquid cooler. I have several from other manfacturers which have been much more reliable and in the same price point.JOHN K.

Really like this cooler, certainly keeps everything cool! My last cooler was around 42°- 68° whilst running, and this one sits very comfortably at 38°- 56° so really happy. Only slight thing to look out for is the cooler is quite thick once the fans are attached, so I've had to locate mine in the front of my case as the RAM stopped me from mounting it on the top of the case. Looks freakin sweet in the case, the LED logo is a nice touch on the heatsink.Findlay W.

After 6 months developed a grinding sound in the pump. Figured could be some trapped air so angled the case to free any trapped air, no joy. Completely removed the cooler and radiator to further change the orientation to try and shift any trapped air, nada. Defiantly something in the pump as disconnecting the radiator fans does not change the sound. Left it hanging for a week, gently rotating it a couple of time a day, alas its no good. Return options are horrible, and trying to get any help from Cool Master has be frustrating. Ended up buying a new AIO from another brand so now have an in-warranty paperweight as shipping costs almost exceed the unit value. Shame as I have had good experience with Cool Master products in the passed, but cannot recommend their AIO's at this time.Marc C.

Really nice AIO from Lian Li that does the job keeping the cpu cool and nice. With a Ryzen 7 5800X at idle, it's around 35-37 C and on a usual gaming load (like Halo Infinite), it keeps around 65 C which is better than what I had before which was an air cooler from cooler master which was not enough to cool a CPU like the 5800X.Nicholas M

Used only the cables to make it work, didn't use any of the cables for the RGB function as that's useless for me. The only downfall is that there is so many cables required if you plan to use the rgbs, probably just a cluster for any small builds. Installation is super easy and fast, a few pictures that explained everything. Used a Lian Li 205m case, easy to install on the top and had to mount fans after wiring everything. Mounting threads are great, I have installed 3 corsairs and I always felt that I was forcing the screws in those. Supported LGA 1700 right out of the box. Might have to get another one for the next build.Sharkynado

I picked this cooler up to go into a new 11700k build that was in a Lian Li Lancool 215 case. Overall, this has solid build quality, was easy to assemble and mount. It is a little thicker than other AIO's that I have used (the radiator is similar, but the included fans are thicker) so triple check RAM and motherboard clearance in your particular setup if you are planning to top mount. I had no issues in the Lan Cool 215, but my RAM is not especially tall. It has been running near silent and flawlessly since install and helped me achieve a very stable 5.0ghz all core overclock on the 11700k with temps never going above 72 during stress testing. Under regular use (gaming, productivity, etc.), my temps are consistently in the low 60's, even under load.NJGOAT

I definitely won't buy another one and I'm hesitant the one that did work, is going to support a 12900k for very long. being that it's twinzy was leaking right out of the box (No Damage To Box). So, no idea. It might be good, it might not be. To be honest, I don't know why I ever choose liquid cooling. I've never had trouble with a fan cooler, even on high end CPUs. This is an amazing AIO IF you can fit it in your case. The radiator is 39mm by itself then you add on 25mm for the fans. If you are planning to front mount this, make sure you have enough space. I have this cooler mounted in a Thermaltake X1 (probably the biggest ITX case you can buy) in the front with the fans situated to pull air through the radiator in from outside of the case (the fans come mounted in a push configuration) to cool a 3700X that is OC'd to 4.35Ghz @ 1.4V core voltage and my lowest CPU temp is 28 degrees Celcius in a 20-degree Celcius room. Running AIDA64 CPU benchmark for over 4 hours the max temp I have seen in my case has been 48 degrees Celcius on the processor and the CPU package has been at 58 degrees, and my system is stable. A couple of notes: ** Mounting this on a ASUS ROG STRIX X570-I was not easy. if the stock backplate does not have long enough lugs you may need to contact Arctic for a backplate. I was able to use 4 small extensions that were included to use with my mobo. Not sure if that was intended, but they worked.** I used Noctua NT-H2 thermal paste. I already had it from a previous build. I know the MX-4 is very good, but your mileage may vary.Please. PLEASE!, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD MAKE SURE TO MOUNT YOUR RADIATOR CORRECTLY! Please take my review with a grain of salt. I have a decent experience with computers (15 years or so) and I always try to find best solutions at affordable prices. This cooler is very good on it's own by cooling down my current CPU (AMD 3600) and the price comparison with other AIO coolers it's unbeatable. That being said, many other factors should be taken in consideration. Before using this AIO, I had and air cooling solution, the Arctic Freezer eSports 33. The general temperatures are more similar than I wanted and the AIO is giving me a headroom of about 5 Celsius degrees lower than the air cooler. With that difference in temperature you won't see any benefits in the real world as you will get the same performance out of your CPU, no higher frequencies or longer stability at highest frequency, no higher FPS in games etc. Considering I paid only about £35 for the air solution and about £90 for the AIO, I don't think it's worth the trouble. If you add the risks of having a water loop in your system and the trouble fitting it in the case as it takes a lot of space, better stick with an air cooler rather than this AIO. I've tried to overclock my CPU, thinking the AIO will make a difference but it wasn't the case, reaching the same limits as with the air cooler. In conclusion, I can't recommend this cooler in general but I recommend it in comparison with other AIO as it does a good job cooling the CPU and keeping the noise to a minimumTechnolander

This is one of the best aio out there. You get brackets for both AMD and intel, the instal is pretty straight forward and the software is pretty user friendly. It allows for customization for solid colors to match your color theme and has different color patterns if you want to be flashy I have mine set for temps for both my gpu and cpu so I don’t have to rely on other software. It keeps my cpu pretty cool even when I play for long periods of time. In the weekends I play for up to five hours and have no issues. All in all great productNoobskillz

Have this cooling a 9900k. Had a Noctua nh-d15 before but it wouldn’t clear the Inwin 303 case I had it in so decided to pick this up while switching to a Cooler Master td500 mesh case. Does a pretty good job, cools a bit better than the Noctua, but keep in mind the nh-d15 is huge! This is neater looking over the d15 and has rgb. My 9900k is oc @ 5.0 ghz and the x73 keeps helps cpu idle around 30C, during gaming loads between 25-50% usage it stays 50C, during loads higher 50-75% usage like star citizen it’ll keep it under 60C, and during 100% usage like Cinebench or video rendering it stays under 70C. Unfortunately the Aer 120 fans included, though great static pressure and airflow, are loud even around 50% speed. Will be switching them out for the Noctua nf-a12 next chance I get.DuckSaysQuack

After downsizing to a 14L case, I needed to change coolers as my EVGA Liquid cooler was simply to big – I thought it would only be appropriate to go back to the brand that kept my I7-7700k cool when I first got into computers – I found myself walking out of pbtech with a lovely purple box in hand and this cooler inside. I was impressed with how straightforward packaging was and furthermore how simple it was to install the cooler. Brands like Cooler Master make RGB feel more like a hassle rather than an accent, but NZXT is one of those brands that has it nailed, and despite the lighting being proprietary, I found myself enamored with how easy it was to get everything wired up and working on the first try. My cpu has never been cooler and the RGb has brought a much needed pop of color to my build – reminding me why NZXT is such a great cooler manufacturer! 10/10!!TrentH7

Pros: I've built my first PC from scratch after using a prebuilt for the last 5 or so years, and honestly I hadn't researched how to replace fans and install an AIO or anything, but I managed to get it in and working perfectly. The RGB is really nice and for the price, the performance seems well worth it. Cons: Keep in mind that it isn't able to be controlled using software, you must use the controller that comes with it, meaning you'll need to open the side panel to use the controller to change the RGB. It had the color and brightness I wanted when I switched it on for the first time, so I haven't been troubled by this but it's a good thing to consider. If I'd have known this before, I would have probably got the software controllable version.Jack

Pros: Its super easy to assemble the mount and place the fans on the radiator block. It cools very well I had my 2400G idling around 28C-29C only reaching 38C-42C while gaming (GTA V medium-high 1080P if people would like a reference for graphics intensity) (Subjective) it just looks great to me it just ties the system to together. Cons: As far as cons I have had no issues The pump sounds strong still. No leaks from either the pump, feed loop lines or the radiator block/heat diffuser. As for noise its not very loud it uses 2 ARGB Sickle Flow 120mm silent running fans. Anyway here is a picture the radiator is up top, I mounted different higher flow fans to the radiator. This is my first time dabbling in AIO coolers. The options I had were Kraken from NZXT or Corsair. I went with this AIO due to the great reviews on YouTube and other platforms. Of course being new to AIO's and upgrading from air cooling was a process in itself. Unfortunately the instructions weren't as clear as I would have liked them to be. But the process entirely took about 2-ish hours to uninstall the air cooler and put in the AIO. Once the process was done and the cable management was all done, this AIO looks truly incredible. I absolutely love this AIO and will recommend it to any and everyone. It's so easy to customize in the iCue app. 10/10, would recommend.Anna L.

I have many other Corsair products in my current computer so I decided to get this as well to continue having stuff that works with their iCue software (which by the way works significantly better than it used to). The cooler itself does a stellar job – temps are below 30 degrees idle (which I almost never had previously with a standard air cooler) and unless it's ramped up to max fan speed isn't super noticeable. RGB looks pretty decent, LOVE the plate that comes on the pump and even more so that they include a secondary design plate that you can swap out. My only complaint is the first one I received gave me a lot of trouble – Initially it wouldn't even be detected by my PC until after I updated iCue. Afterwards it would be detected but give me a "Pump Failure" message despite the pump and fans all running at full speed. The only solution that actually worked was simply replacing the entire unit. This completely fixed any and all problems I had with it.Rasmatazz

Let me start off by saying its very quiet! The fan and the pump are inaudible at idle. This was great as I could browse the net, edit pictures on Photoshop, and watch YouTube without having the sound of a refrigerator sound next to me. Corsair's quality and control is superb, My pump was flawless, in build quality, the paint job absolutely beautiful. The packaging excellent, all components are protected in the event your delivery man throws it on your porch. Now as far as the design, its fantastic! The new Capellix LEDs are super bright, and really make the colors pop. This design paired with Corsair's iCue Software is a very powerful combo. However, be aware that this AIO requires an RGB controller that needs to be connected to a SATA power port, and a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard. The controller is included, but make sure you have space in your PC case for it. As far as performance, I am running an 11th Gen Intel i7-11700 CPU, and my temps are 31 C at idle and never go above 70 C during stress testing without throttling.SenorTech

So I was running a Ryzen 5 2600 CPU (plus a Radeon RX 580 GPU) with the included stock fan and was constantly having temps in the high 60's C to mid 70's C and above, depending on how demanding of a game I was playing. I decided to take advantage of the "Black Friday/Cyber Monday" deals at Newegg and upgrade my CPU to a Ryzen 5 5600x and added the Artic Cooling fan in hopes of being able to keep my CPU temp below 70's C while increasing my performance (and making my computer Windows 11 compatible) To my pleasant surprise, I'm running Destiny 2 at 90fps+ topping out my CPU temp around 55C and I even took a chance with the new Halo Infinite F2P, locking at 60fps, and I'm averaging under 60C consistently. I hope to push my CPU and GPU a bit further with some help from AMD software to overclock both slightly and see how it goes. I'm very happily impressed by this AIO liquid cooling setup from Artic and have included a few pics of it humming along in my system. Dave P.DDTechGuy

This really does cool like no other. The fan looks like a gimmick but most definitely helps in my motherboard layout anyway. Asus Z170-P. My CPU (6700K) was getting hot when gaming, I had an AIO on the GPU (980 Ti) old but good. The CPU was reaching 90C so I decided to replace the stock with this unit. I have now never reached 60C and the Motherboard is now at 40C max where it was at 60C in there. In essence I have now taken all the heat out of the box and directly blow it out through 2 AIOs. Need to make sure you blow enough in to support that though. The only issue with the Artic Freezer II is the hoses resists any bending and are not coupled through a swivel at the CPU end like others. This means you need to work out the geometry in advance to avoid putting undue force on the CPU.Grant264

If you are looking for a simple, no frills AIO then this is a great choice. No RGB out of the box so it will not appeal to everybody, but that also keeps the cost down. Having an addition fan which blows air over the VRM parts is good, but by no means essential. Runs very quiet, thanks in part to the included Arctic P12 fans which run very, very quiet. Just be careful when installing to check which version of the cooler you have (Either 1, 2 or 3). The instructions are different for each one, and not all of the parts to follow each instructions are included! It did come with a small packet of thermal compound as well – enough for one build so you won't need to buy more. Overall, a good CPU cooler, but the lack of 'bling' may put some people off.Moose99

Pros: I've built my first PC from scratch after using a prebuilt for the last 5 or so years, and honestly I hadn't researched how to replace fans and install an AIO or anything, but I managed to get it in and working perfectly. The RGB is really nice and for the price, the performance seems well worth it. Cons: Keep in mind that it isn't able to be controlled using software, you must use the controller that comes with it, meaning you'll need to open the side panel to use the controller to change the RGB. It had the color and brightness I wanted when I switched it on for the first time, so I haven't been troubled by this but it's a good thing to consider. If I'd have known this before, I would have probably got the software controllable version.Jack

Pros: Its super easy to assemble the mount and place the fans on the radiator block. It cools very well I had my 2400G idling around 28C-29C only reaching 38C-42C while gaming (GTA V medium-high 1080P if people would like a reference for graphics intensity) (Subjective) it just looks great to me it just ties the system to together. Cons: As far as cons I have had no issues The pump sounds strong still. No leaks from either the pump, feed loop lines or the radiator block/heat diffuser. As for noise its not very loud it uses 2 ARGB Sickle Flow 120mm silent running fans. Anyway here is a picture the radiator is up top, I mounted different higher flow fans to the radiator. But the sickle flows can be seen mounted to the two mounting positions on the bottom of the case. Good luck on your searches fellow enthusiasts/gamers.kamun_9682

This is a great cooler, overall. I imagine this is an issue with AIO coolers in general, but make sure you can mount it in such a way that you can prevent air from getting into the pump. You can accomplish this one of a couple of ways: 1. Top-mount the radiator. This is the best method. 2. If you must front-mount the radiator, make sure you can mount it so that the tubes are coming out of the BOTTOM of the rad. If they are on top, there is a good chance air could get into them. It may not hurt the performance (it didn't in my case), but it will likely make a horrible rattling noise. The issue here is that the tubes may not be long enough to reach the bottom, especially if you have a big graphics card.This cooler worked real well while I had it. I unfortunately had to switch out either the cooler or my case, and I elected to switch out the cooler. But it worked well while I used it. The problems I faced are probably not uncommon among AIO liquid coolers in general.Anonymous

If you are looking for a cheaper AMD AIO cooler, this might work for you, as it is easy to install onto AM3/AM4 sockets, as opposed to an Intel CPU, where you need to install a back plate. It kept my Ryzen 5 2600 at 36 degrees Celsius for me at idle, and my Ryzen 5 3600 at 39 degrees at idle, so it does a good job cooling. The problem I have with this product is that it hasn't lasted for me. The first one I bought, through Newegg, lasted three months, where it had a radiator/fan buzz going on after a short period of time. I had to purchase another ML240L, have it installed, and then send the defect unit away for RMA replacement. Kept the replacement as a back up. At the time, tech support through Cooler Master was easy peasy, and RMA process went smooth. The second one I purchased crapped out again recently, where it started buzzing pretty loud, either fan or radiator, about a year after purchase. I created a ticket and contacted Cooler Master tech support for assistance. It took them a week to get back to me, where they wanted me to email a video of the buzzing, which I did. After a week, I received no reply, and the buzzing got worse, so I had to purchase a new cooler, and had my second ML240L swapped out for a new cooler, again, within 1.5 years of initial purchase. I bought a more advanced Corsair unit this time around, I didn't bother with putting in my sealed backup ML240L. I submitted another RMA request, which is pending, and as for the ticket they never replied to, well, after I submitted the RMA request, they just closed the ticket, with no response?? So, depending on case size and budget, this cooler might work for you, but I would not recommend it.Brock J.

Previously I owned a corsair liquid cooling setup that I will describe below if you're curious. The old setup was noisy and a year old so I ordered this Cooler master ML240L to replace it. The cooler master box came with all the parts and a printed out instruction manual that has little-to-no words on it. I suppose this it to make it multi-lingual. Installation took about a two hours total including the removal of the old setup. It did come with some thermal paste in a tube, but no thermal removal pads. It's Recommend purchasing some thermal paste removal pads with this if you're replacing an old setup. New setups shouldn't require it unless multiple mounting attempts are going to be made. The back-plate mounting bracket has to be held in place while the CPU sink is mounted. If attempting this while the case is vertical, caution is advised! While attempting it with the case horizontal on a flat surface, there needs to be something in place to hold the mounting bracket or it will fall through onto the ground. In my case, I ended up using tape to hold it in place temporarily. It did work, but was not the most ideal setup. There is extra cabling that appears to be for a control module that is associated with the lighting. There are several extra unnecessary pieces to this design which make it more confusing and just add extra cabling. The extra cabling is for lighting control, which some may prefer for their case setup. Frankly, I would prefer less cabling and attachments with some software controls instead. There's already enough extra cables in my case! I have only been using this for only a day, but it appears to be as loud or louder than my old setup. So I'm slightly disappointing with the noise level this produces. I'm intending on replacing the fans later with something quieter and will just remove the lighting control cabling. Performance wise: In my setup it is equal to the old corsair one I had. Overall, I'm regretting the purchase, but I can't fault cooler master at all. It works as advertised, just not what I was hoping. ——————————- Corsair H100v2 complaints/comparison: Prior to purchasing this cooler master, I owned a Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2. The corsair was much easier to install. The corsair came with thermal pate pre-applied on the heat sink that attaches to the CPU. Also on the corsair H100v2: the back piece came with mountable screws that would hold the back mount in place while attempting to seat the sink on the CPU. There were less parts and superfluous cables than the cooler master too. The fans were much quieter but the coolant pump would make a rattling noise whenever it would increase speeds. The noise was extremely awful and unbearable. Unfortunately it seems the fans on the new cooler master are loud also, and I believe I have traded one noisy setup for a slightly less noisy one. The older corsiar had software management for fan speed, light color and intensity too. ——————-Anonymous
