Reviews:
Too much text and complex pictures for a small board book for bub. Wish I had bought the large paper book or a larger board book option if available. Bub (8 months)may prefer story more when older. Otherwise good story and images. Recommend bigger version for this particular story.Nic
My twin grandsons fell in love with the Christmas version so I just had to go on the hunt for some more stories about these guys!! Their favorite is excavator (he was on both Christmas wishlists) but they're learning so much about other construction vehicles-it's a win win!! Beautifully illustrated, heavy duty pages (for the not-so-gentle eager page turners), wonderfully entertaining!! Highly recommend!!var_132
There’s construction by our home so my two year old became obsessed with excavators. This is our new fav to read at bedtime!! I thought we’d never get away from Llama Llama and Goodnight Moon (but they’ll always be forever favs)Mel

7. 33 1/3 Revolutions Per Minute: A Critical Trip Through The Rock Lp Era, 1955-1999 [Book]
Product Details:
Whether you're a lifelong collector or have only just gotten hip to the vinyl revival, navigating the vast landscape of rock albums can be a daunting prospect. enter mike segretto and his mammoth 33 1/3 revolutions per minute, a history of the rock lp era told through a very personal selection of nearly 700 albums. beginning with the birth of rock and roll in the 1950s, segretto moves through the explosive innovations of the 1960s, the classic rock and punk albums of the 1970s, the new wave classics of the 1980s, and the alternative revolution of the 1990s, always with an eye to both the iconic and the ephemeral, the failed experiments and the brilliant trailblazers. it's all here: everything from the classics (sgt. pepper's lonely hearts club band, purple rain, nevermind, and countless other usual suspects) to such oddities as albums by johnny "guitar" watson, p. p. arnold, the dentists, and holly golightly. throughout, segretto reveals the perpetual evolution of a modern art form, tracing the rock album's journey from a vehicle for singles and filler sold to kids, through its maturation into a legitimate, self-contained medium of expression by 1967, and onward to its dominance in the '70s, '80s, and '90s. whether you read it from cover to cover, seek out specific albums, or just dip in at random and let the needle fall where it may, 33 1/3 revolutions per minute is a fun, informative, and unapologetically opinionated read.

I don’t want me third grader reading about “eating disorders”, throwing up, panic attacks, anxiety , bullying, puberty, and seeing a therapist. I don’t know how it has so many stars and other parents are ok this being put into a young mind. Back it goes . The other books talk about kissing , spin the bottle and teen drama. 3rd grader does not need to read about this kind of stuff. This book is amazing to read, honestly I believe that stormlight archive is best suited for people who want to experience the past in a different galaxy. As a 15 year old, this book follows up for me after the Harry Potter series.🤩Sabry.M
The secret history of the world that was uncovered in this book was amazing. Sanderson's world building is just fantastic. I can't wait to get all my so many questions answered from the next books. I feel for so many of the characters in this book that are going through things in the background (Rock, Teft & even Renarin). The transformation of our main characters as they continue the struggle to save mankind is wrenching at times but I like where they are at the end of the book. Audiobook narration is as always amazing. There is a full emotion and question filled vlog video on my channel (Booked Panda).Booked Panda

Reviews:
It's 2019 (at the time of this review) and I just started reading this again. When I was growing up I'd read my favorite series over and over, but now that I'm grown I haven't read a series twice because there is just to many amazing books out there. I don't know what is is about this series that I love so much, and I'm not usually a fan of dystopia. Maybe it's that Katniss is not a perfect Mary Sue, like in many books of this type. She's relatable and for a lot of the series she has PTSD so it's not like she's always the amazing leader. All she wants is for her family to survive, she didn't even want to start a rebellion. It just happened and she was thrust in the middle of it and made the leader. I also normally don't care for love triangles, but with Gale and Peeta you can see how that would happen. On the one hand you have Gale who she grew up with and has grown to love. On the other hand you have Peeta who just went through the Hunger Games together. They were brought together in tragedy and they needed each other to survive. I read all 3 books in one weekend. I watched each movie as it came out. But for the first time (weirdly) I am watching the movies back to back and it's reminded me how much I love the series.tiffany.r
I really enjoyed this movie so I thought I would give this book a try. Sometimes the book is totally different than the movie. This book has differences, but it’s totally worth reading. I really appreciate the way it was written and it captures your attention right from the start. Highly recommended.tilena.t
If you've seen the movies then it's definitely worth reading the books. All the chapters are all from the perspective of Katniss so you get a greater understanding of what's going through her head during certain events. The main character is incredibly well written. She is a hero but also has a lot of flaws and makes mistakes which makes her seem more real and relatable. The books also expand upon the world so you can get more of a feel of the hardships each district goes through and it also gives a lot more development on the secondary and background characters as well. I wouldn't recommend it for young children due to the graphic nature of it but definitely would to teenagers and adults alike. It's a great book series for both parents & teens to read together as it gives plenty of opportunity for talking points such as how to deal with trauma, loss of freedom, whats right and wrong and all the grey areas in between. It's definitely a books series I would enjoy and have no problem with reading again.just another number

Reviews:
It's horrifying to read about the treatment of people, especially women & girls, within the last 30/40 years. An interesting eye opener. Very engaging.frosty-kaz
I read this book in my high school AP Lit class and absolutely LOVED it! We also read The Kite Runner, but I much preferred this book. It's heartbreaking and heavy but an absolutely amazing read from a wonderful author. I reread it recently and still loved it the same way. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a good thought-provoking readE. Gawlas
It was a sad book, but so wonderfully written. A book that makes you think. You can smell the spring blossoms and feel the cold snowflakes. There is a big fight scene and you literally feel like your ribs are being broken too. Well worth a readnadvans-0

Reviews:
These books are awesome – the leather look is beautiful and I was looking forward to reading them again. They are half size books – this should be made more obvious because I was NOT expecting them to be half sized novels – and I would have expected them to be full sized considering the price. I was disappointed in the size.Madmells
This set is beautiful, especially for the price. The books are smaller that I imagined they would be, but I did not pay attention to the "pocket" description. Being this size, the books are more convenient to hold. The books are crafted with smooth leather and gold leaf, similar to bibles. Pretty cool. We recently introduced our son to LotR and The Hobbit, so we hope this set can stick around as a kind of heirloom for decades to come.Books-A-Million
If you're looking for a classical touch of owning these great stories by Tolkien, I would highly recommend it. The leather covers, various maps and illustrations throught the books and stamped leather collection box are all of the highest quality. The fact also that this version is the most accurate to what Tolkien originally wrote and all the necessary corrections from previous printings have been made, makes this set even better. Truly happy with this purchase!harrsk21

Reviews:
this book was good! the second i got it i was so excited to read it! however, i was partially disappointed and DNF'ed around page 200 but later picked it up again. on my second try, i was invested and the reveal had me SOBBING! (UPCOMING SPOILERS WATCH OUT!!!!) i feel like pip changed personality too quick at the end, being a good girl obsessed with her grades and then blandly coming out super publicly that she cheated on her EPQ (i don't actually remember what it was called…) is just out of character and it's a really quick behavioural change….
A good girls guide to murder started off strong and ended with such an unexpected scene that I couldn't wait to pick up the next book. I loved Pippa and Ravi's dynamic friendship and how it played such a heartwarming role in the story. Even when the crime was solved, I had a hard time believing how Holly perfectly fit him as the villain while making him seem innocent and detached from the crime. I am very excited to continue the series and read more of Holly Jackson's books I one hundred percent recommend this series. Please put it in your book list or read it! It is the best murder mystery I have read❤️Reading is life
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely adored this book. It is a YA mystery/ thriller. With that being said, this is one of the best YA books I have read. The plot and character development were amazing. There were multiple characters throughout the book, but they were really easy to keep track of. I really enjoyed seeing the emails and interview transcripts throughout the book. It made me feel like I was Pip trying to solve this mystery. And let me tell you, I was totally shocked by whodunnit. I am a HUGE true crime podcast lover, so when I started this book it really reminded me of the podcast serial when they cover Adnan Syed’s case. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone, especially if you liked this book. And vice versa. I was please that this book did not seem like it was modeled exactly from this real life case though, and just had some similarities.jordan.w
