Reviews:
I love this book because reading about the places, events, groups, etc. fires my imagination and gives me ideas for creating my own campaigns, adventures, and stories. The book is mostly that. 40 pages of places, history, gods and their portfolios. 60 pages of more detailed places. 20 pages of how all the races fit into the world, 25 more pages of class options, 10 pages of backgrounds. So for players, there's 35 pages of extra options. No new magic items, only a few cantrips to fit the new class options. No monsters or familiars. Again, if you want ideas to help you create your own fleshed out locales, this is your book.rt0bler

Reviews:
This module promised a lot of things it doesn't live up to. It's really all over the place. Quite a steep price for something that requires dozens of hours of prep and fixing before you can run it. I wish WotC would learn from modern publishers who make adventures to be run out of the box with low prep.Rob

Oh my gosh. My husband begged me for this book, of course I'm not going to say no. It benefits us both. After we purchased this book its alllllll he could talk about to any and everyone he saw. The content is like everything extra that comes from the players handbook and the dungeon masters guide. Great purchase!BRITTANI
Xanthars Guide To Everything is just that. An amazing source book especially for a Dungeon Master. New spells, gear, weapons, tables for names when making PCs and NPCs. The book even has notes from Xanthar himself that break the fourth wall as he talks to the reader and his pet fish. Highly recommend to a DM and those who play D&D.brandobec-70
I love 5th Edition. It brings together everyone under one umbrella whether they realize it or not. The only gripe with this book is Wizards of the Coast I felt didn't come full force with the available fighter sub-classes. I like the ones they provided but felt one ore more was missing. That however is only one small facet of the additional content available and overall I consider it a very worthwhile expansion to the lore of 5th edition. People who are tired of Pathfinder, miss the good old days, want to play with or without miniatures, desire a more simplified yet still intriguing experience whether in or out of combat: check this out! The main rulebook is still essential of course.JAY

Reviews:
I went out of my way to order from Target, as I'm moving to support *other* online companies, but I can't recommend ordering D&D books from Target. I've ordered several and the first 2 arrived today (Eberron and Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden), each in their own seperate boxes, and both were packaged EXTREMELY poorly (and that's being generous). As you can see from the photos, Eberron came without *ANY* packaging and got dinged up pretty good. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to buy a new book and have it damaged. Going through Target's "Fix an Issue" is a bit of a joke too as the only options are to return the books or get a refund. Why bother with an exchange if they're going to send out and damage another book? I WOULD recommend the books, but I WOULDN'T recommend getting them from Target, unless you can find them in stock at your local store.NateB
A great setting for a campaign. Also the Artificer class is fun! Playing one now.Charles

Reviews:
I hope to start running this adventure with my D&D group. It looks like a blast.Scott A
The product itself is excellent, with the page and cover in excellent condition. The text and images were pristine, and the campaign inside was very enjoyable. The product has a few flaws, however. The campaign itself (which mightyape has no control over) has 3 major faults, so DMs should keep these in mind A. The first town of nightstone is poorly designed and designed to just be a level boost B. Go to Bryn Shander please the others are way worse C. The final fight with Iymrith is boring at times, as the storm giants with you just soak up damage. Try to remove the giants and soften up Iymrith to make the fight more interesting.Kevin

Only thing my husband asked for this ChristmasJOHN
This alternate cover of the Mythic Odysseys of Theros is stunning to say the least. I have collected all the alternate cover Dungeons & Dragons books released so far but this one is by far the best. The content is top notch and includes everything needed to set your adventures in a mythic Greek style campaign setting. The delivery was quick and the package was wrapped with such care the book did not suffer the corner damage that usually accompanies an online delivery. Top notch product.Daniel P.

Reviews:
Volos Guide is a moderately sized supplement expanding your D&D 5E games. The book is divided into three parts. The first describes the societies of several iconic monsters and their kin, including goblinoids, orc, and even mind flayers!! The second part provides rules for creating using monster races as PCs and NPCs. The third part is an expansion of the Monster Manual, focusing primarily on monsters related to those described in the first two parts, from rare goblinoids to the physical manifestations of beholder dreams! All together, I would recommend this product to anyone interested in delving into these monsters. However if your interest is just playing a single, non-standard race, D&Ds downloadable content may be an easier and less expensive option. I still rate this product five starts, the amount of material in Volos Guide really adds to my campaign!zeruel2003
This product is a great expansion that provides extra lore on enemies and their culture, new races for players, and a lot more monsters. It expands on the three core rule books and providess many more ideas for players and GMs alike. I would highly recommend it to any player that wants to play a more unique class or a GM that wants to populate the world with more creatures and sociieties.anthonboganwrigh-0
On top of adding more monsters for me to get horribly disemboweled upon, it also covers a number of other races whom I can upon as allies, from the simple Kenku, to the graceful Tabaxi, or the hardened and might Goliath. Additionally, it also gives information on layouts of Mind Flayer hives, so I know how to navigate one, in case I'm caught and cleric Kreia can't save me from the brain-suckers in time. It's a great deal of information laid out in an easy an understandable way, most city guards would comprehend it, if they wouldn't draw all over it with their half-eaten crayons. I'm glad Kiva convinced me to buy it for her, but she thinks it's mean that I'm getting more use reading it than her.Magnus Redspear

This campaign book is goin to be such a great addition to my growing D&D library. I started out by watching their 'Might Nein' campaign and then immediately after coming across someone from the first campaign, went and watched that. I have fallen in love with the world of Exandria and cannot wait to get started in it!Christopher G.
Great book for D&D settings. I'm a newish DM and starting a Xhorhas campaign online, but I wanted the physical book too. There are several story modules in this book and plenty of info to build your own. The surprise was finding the map of Wildemount in the back that can be removed (its perforated) and unfolded!Joel

It ha story hooks, suggestions for level scaling and plenty of variation for you to choose what best suits your players. Good quality book packed with a fun feywild adventure. I can't wait to run it for my group!Benjamin C
I'm really pleased with my purchase from Zatu, as always it arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Wild Beyond the Witchlight is one of the better written D&D Adventures, suitable for new DMs as well more experienced ones and would work as a nice introduction for a party of new players as well. I'm looking forward to running this campaign very soon.Rachel P

Reviews:
Ok for a source book it's a fine book. As for the dnd book of horror. It is not. For example (carnival domain of DREAD. It literally is just a carnival. NO KILLER CLOWNS. No house of horror. ) How do you say book of horror yet include a friendly circus. Colorphobia aka the fear of clowns and what's worse 1 of the top phobias and top 10 horror troupes. And you only do friendly. This book has removed horror from horror. If you want a book for horror I would say skip this one. If you want a source book then you get 100+ new trinkets 2 new paths 20+ new magic items new monsters 1 new one shot adventure and 100+ new adventure ideas. It's has value as a source book.James L
Its not WotC worst book. The horror theme of the book feels watered down compared to other games like Call of Cthulhu. The new monsters are cool but it’s not enough for me when I already own other monster books like Creature Codex. Probably more useful to new DM’s than grognards. I think most people will either love it or hate it.Angel B

Simply put, the long time fantasy setting, the Forgotten Realms is dead. This put launches the setting 100 years. Many of the characters we loved are now dead. As is much of the fabled pantheon. Even nations that have become a staple of the Realms are gone. Forgetting that for a moment, the book itself is poorly done. Some nations get a 2 page write up, but not much info is given. Many favorites are not discussed at all like Tethyr and Rasheman. The deities themselves are passed over quickly. Only the Greater Gods are discussed at all and even then its barely a mention. Even forgetting the radical changes made to the setting, the book itself is not nearly as good or informative or as useful as its 3rd edition counterpartbrookie124
It helps with running your own campaign instead of reading a premade story. This helps you make your own.hawkisuetoyou

Reviews:
What a great book. This is a great adventure and it has some pretty good art. I think the WotC crowd could have gotten even better art considering the MtG artists they have on tap. I really enjoy the idea that not everything has to be combat. I really likes the villains and the connection to the story at the beginning for the players. Great addition to the adventure set.Leonardo N
