Nothing to dislike. I love this water dispenser. The cold water is cold and hot is perfect. I've retired my tea kettle. I feel great about the healthy water I'm drinking. Everyone in the house is definitely more water. I like that there is no waste with plastic bottles, too. It is very nice size. We are huge water drinkers and this product is very convenient for us. This water dispenser is saving us a lot of money and of course saving on water bottle plastic. I bought 2 of the 5gal igloo beverage coolers for a party because I wanted to avoid the waste that the kids make with sodas and bottled waters being opened and only 1 sip taken from them. Well I put water with ice in 1 and pink lemonade in the other. Let me tell you this was a hit! The kids served themselves and no mess other than a few cups left around the tables! And very easy to clean. Plus they are hefty so if they get knocked around a little they won't break like other cheaper brands so of course they last for long periods of time. I'm sure they are still around years later being used to this day for events, thats how durable and great they are! I'd definitely recommend them to anyone. And not just commercially. If you do events like family cookouts or sporting events like tailgating parties or things for your kids sports teams maybe, these would be perfect for them as well. Buy some powered Gatorade and get some bags of ice and some water and you've got drinks for everyone! Or use it as a make shift cooler. Wasn't sure how I would like this but I love it. My kids are drinking more water instead of soda. I don't have empty water bottles laying around the house anymore. Love the fact you can turn the cooling and heating off separately. I have the hot water feature off so I don't have to worry about my grandson burning himself. I did try it out though. Made a cup of hot tea and it was perfect temperature. Wasn't melt your mouth hot. Roughly 180 degrees according to the thermometer. Have the cold water set half way and that is perfect. My only suggestion is grab a couple 5 gallon jugs so it's easier when you go to get more. I only bought one which lasted 3 days and had to run out and get more. I bought 3 more so now I can go once a week to purchase my water. Wish I would have done this sooner.Kevin
I purchased my last water cooler from BJ's, lasted a very long time (Haier Model). I really like this one and got a great deal, when on sale. Really like the spouts this model has, my old one you had to push and hold for the water to be dispensed. This is a slimmer profile. All in All, a updated water cooler for me. We bought this because on inverted water cooler stopped pumping the water up after 3 years. Good thing we bought the warranty (again a side promo to purchase the warranty. Worth the relief to return anytime and less aggravation over the cost of the warranty). Anyways, we have this product on a kitchen floor so it should be stable. But this product has such a weak base that we have to tie down on the wall so it doesn't shake. We live in the earthquake state of CALifornia. This machine does not use standard water fittings. Get a quote from a plumber before you buy. I've made 10 trips to the hardware store today to try to get it hooked up. Finally, after almost 14 hours of struggling, I'm throwing in the towel. Avalon sends an adapter to hook up under the sink. It doesn't fit my pipes, so I got an adapter for that, but I can't find another adapter to take the size of the adapter that they sent back up to what my sink hose uses. Looks like I'll need to have a plumber take over because I've spent a bunch of fuel, patience, and money on hooking this thing up. The machine itself seems well built, fits perfectly on my counter, and has a filter. If Avalon could include a standard sized adapter to hook it up, it would be perfect.Slim

After extensive research we bought the A3. We are using this dispenser at the cottage for drinking water. Wanted an update from the blue plastic water containers. Very practical to have a bottom load unit so bottles are easy to load. Easy to set up. Easy to use . Cool and cold water temperatures are just fine. I prefer the temperature of the cool water. We unplug the unit when we leave. Plug back on arrival and it's not long we have cold water. Having this unit we have increased our water drinking. Don't need the hot water feature so I turned it off in the back. If using the hot water there is a child safety lock on top. To us it's quiet, only when it's filling or cooling you get some noise but doesn't bother us. Our fridge is louder. The night light feature is not necessary for us so it's turned off. Unit looks modern and stylish definitely an update for the cottage. Nice to have an indicator light to show when the bottle is empty. Easy to use the Self cleaning feature. Do it at night. Indicator light blinks when cleaning and off when complete. Not sure how it really works at cleaning. At 6 months will do a manual cleaning. So far we are happy with our purchase and recommend this unit.
Purchased for the easy bottle swap option in the lower casing. Out of the box everything seemed to work fine. I really thought it was a bonus that the exterior blends well with my current appliances. I’ve been using the water machine without issue for a couple months now. I don’t like cold cold water so my uses included ‘cool’ and ‘hot’. I saw the cold option but it never really dawned on me to try it just to see if it worked out of the box. Fast forward, A friend comes over and asks for some water and I hand them a glass to help themselves. They like cold water and saw the option. After a couple minutes of them fiddling around I ask what’s up and they let me know the button didn’t function. I've had this cooler for almost 2 years and it's been great! I used it as my primary water source for 6 months at a cabin, then moved it to my office where myself and about 10 others used it daily for coffee, tea, and drinking water, then stored it for about 6 months, and now I've recently moved it to my parents place for quick hot and cold on demand water. The hot water is hot enough to make tea in a breeze. The lower loading made changing the jug super easy. My only complaint is that it took me a while to notice the water catch tray needed cleaning since the filth blended in with the black color, but once I took it out (overflowed water bottle – user error) it cleaned up super easy. I also took to print a few paper towels on the bottom of the hose when changing the jug to keep it clean and keep any little bit of water in the pipe from leaking onto the floor, but this was very minimal.
