Bottom load is a plus, very easy to replace water, hot water is fine, but takes about a cup or so to get to temp for a teabag, so 2 cups can be wasted for optimal temp. I use it for my coffee maker, so when i fill pot for 6 cups ( to make 2 cups coffee lol) there's no waste, and it makes the coffee machine produce hotter coffee. Where there's a will there's a way. but the initial first cup using hot, won't be hot enough if you add anything to what you're using the hot water for like milk and such, will be luke warm. My advice to company would be when using the hot water dispenser side, should be a delay of 10 seconds for heating element to produce hot water on command instead of cycling warm water initially while element is heating. To replace the water jug you just open the door and replace it. No more lifting. The water comes out cold and the hot water, very hot. It’s so convenient to make tea or coffee. I bought this Aug 2021. Everything so far works good except, I have noticed this month that there is a loud noise that comes on. Right now it’s 12:35 AM. OK so this is awesome! We go through bottled water like crazy and I hate that it's so hard to recycle the plastic bottles. We have to pay to have recycling picked up. This machine does not use standard water fittings. Get a quote from a plumber before you buy. I've made 10 trips to the hardware store today to try to get it hooked up. Finally, after almost 14 hours of struggling, I'm throwing in the towel. Avalon sends an adapter to hook up under the sink. It doesn't fit my pipes, so I got an adapter for that, but I can't find another adapter to take the size of the adapter that they sent back up to what my sink hose uses. Looks like I'll need to have a plumber take over because I've spent a bunch of fuel, patience, and money on hooking this thing up. The machine itself seems well built, fits perfectly on my counter, and has a filter. If Avalon could include a standard sized adapter to hook it up, it would be perfect.Slim

After extensive research we bought the A3. We are using this dispenser at the cottage for drinking water. Wanted an update from the blue plastic water containers. Very practical to have a bottom load unit so bottles are easy to load. Easy to set up. Easy to use . Cool and cold water temperatures are just fine. I prefer the temperature of the cool water. We unplug the unit when we leave. Plug back on arrival and it's not long we have cold water. Having this unit we have increased our water drinking. Don't need the hot water feature so I turned it off in the back. If using the hot water there is a child safety lock on top. To us it's quiet, only when it's filling or cooling you get some noise but doesn't bother us. Our fridge is louder. The night light feature is not necessary for us so it's turned off. Unit looks modern and stylish definitely an update for the cottage. Nice to have an indicator light to show when the bottle is empty. Easy to use the Self cleaning feature. Do it at night. Indicator light blinks when cleaning and off when complete. Not sure how it really works at cleaning. At 6 months will do a manual cleaning. So far we are happy with our purchase and recommend this unit.
Purchased for the easy bottle swap option in the lower casing. Out of the box everything seemed to work fine. I really thought it was a bonus that the exterior blends well with my current appliances. I've had this cooler for almost 2 years and it's been great! I used it as my primary water source for 6 months at a cabin, then moved it to my office where myself and about 10 others used it daily for coffee, tea, and drinking water, then stored it for about 6 months, and now I've recently moved it to my parents place for quick hot and cold on demand water. The hot water is hot enough to make tea in a breeze. The lower loading made changing the jug super easy. My only complaint is that it took me a while to notice the water catch tray needed cleaning since the filth blended in with the black color, but once I took it out (overflowed water bottle – user error) it cleaned up super easy. I also took to print a few paper towels on the bottom of the hose when changing the jug to keep it clean and keep any little bit of water in the pipe from leaking onto the floor, but this was very minimal. Very important: if you plan on purchasing this and anticipate making more than one 10-12 oz cup of coffee , be advised that the hot water will need to reheat after every (3) 6 oz cups (small!) or every (2) 10-12 oz cups (actually, from experience after 14 oz it's done). Wait time in between reheats is approx 6 minutes. Hubby and I can't even sit down together within minutes to enjoy our coffee together. Love this dispenser and the Primo customer service folks. Bought in 2019, and has worked very well up to the end of 2021. Stopped pumping water up from bottle. Called their customer service and the woman had me try a couple things while she waited. When they didn’t help, she said oh well, it’s under warranty, I’ll ship you a new one today. Trash the old one please. Being cheap, when the new one arrived I hit YouTube and realized the pump failure is not uncommon. Found the pump on amazon for $20 and the swap took about 8 minutes. So now the kids have a water cooler for their house too. Then about a week ago, the warranty replacement cooler died. Stopped pumping cold water down. So I called the Walmart warranty folks and they paid me back for it on the spot. So I guess the moral of my story is. Get the warranty and you’ll be fine. For the price of one I’ve received 3 this far and I still love the cooler. The Keurig isn’t quite the same size K-cup opening as a regular keurig so sometimes we have to wiggle the holder into place but nbd. I like the item and the first one I gave it to my daughter and it's still working like new. The new one I order… weelll? I order it on line and received it in 2 business days. We have a permanent camping spot in southern Ohio, and it was such a pain to take down gallons and gallons of our reverse osmosis water from him each weekend. So, she I was offered to try these jugs, I was THRILLED! I can pop one of these in the sink and walk away while it fills with fresh reverse osmosis water from out separate tap. This 5 gallon water container is perfect for camping. We sometimes camp where water that is safe for drinking is not readily available. This water container comes in very handy for those situations. The container itself is extremely well made and sturdy. I like that there is two choices for an opening. A bigger size to put the water in the container and a smaller size opening to pour the water you need out. When I did first get the container it did have a strong plastic scent. I just had to rinse it out a few times and it was good to go. Within the first few days of use, the hot water was no longer hot. Shortly afterward the cold was no longer cold. Also, the “empty bottle” light flashes when the bottle is still full. Opening and closing the door stops the indicator from flashing but only temporarily. We tried all of the suggested remedies but to no avail. Primo is replacing the unit. This item does exactly what it says. Easy to set up and use. I like that you can refill the water jugs and reduce plastic use. However, four stars because upon first use the water has a strong plastic taste and is very unpleasant. The manufacture advises to clean the unit and jug with dish soap or clorox. so, we will see if that fixes it.
