This is a very high quality water pump perfect for anyone in need of a remote mount pump. Size of the pump is 7 1/4" tall and 3 1/2" square at the base motor is 3" in diameter. The quality is great! Everything bolted up and fit perfect. The finish of the casting is very clean and it is much lighter than my old cast iron pump. I spoke with a tech at Proform to make sure I got the right pump before I ordered it and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. When I searched it on Summit by my car it only showed the polished pump. I painted it GM Corporate Blue to match my engine on my 1978 Camaro. Added stainless fittings, a new A/C Delco fan clutch and painted the pulley and fan.DAVID

This package arrived from Walmart.com as Described. I purchased a 50' Garden hose to go with the pump. This is NOT a SUMP PUMP,.. but I have a full basement, it fills when it rains about 4 inches deep./ This is a 1/5th Horsepower Pump, it is submersible. I took a 5 gallon bucket and drilled holes in it and immersed the bucket into my sump pump hole n allowed the bucket to fill with water then immersed the pump into the water and wearing Rubber knee boots walked into basement and ran Heavy extension cord across the ceiling and plugged it into the Pump Cord. This pump is not real powerful, but it took a day and a half to pump out my Full Basement. Being careful,.. I had to check the end of the hose that I ran up the exterior stairs every half hour.. This may not work for everyone,.. but I cant afford an expensive pump,..THIS DOES Work, its slow,.. but it is efficient . It does the job,.. now when we have rains, I am prepaired. all details were as stated and very easy to install. all Fitting were of same size just as stated and connection were as shown is diagrams. Motor performed as show and stated with the correct PSI of 45 and the rated speed of flow was correct as stated with all wiring clearly marked as to which wire was to be connected to correct power source. Motor ran very quickly with not pressure leaking back thru the pump into the reservoir. Pump Heard did not leak under full pressure . Had this electric water pump on for 1 year now. This pump and rad/fans has kept me cool right at around 190 area, on a 97 degree day doing hot laps on a track. I plan on using this pump again this year, with a better rad/fan combo and oil cooler to keep it even cooler. I also used a PWM controller from Amazon, to modulate the flow with a digital readout. My pump came with everything I needed to install except for a backing plate to timing cover gasket, but no worries. Also had to switch the inlets of the pump to the opposite side. Would definitely reccommend.RICHARD

I guess these pumps are hit-and-miss. Had a hard time getting the intake adapter sealed. Constantly leaked on me and then the unit just stopped working. And also the bolt that come with this I'll wait too long had to go out and buy a shorter bolts for mounting it. Just a lot of wasted time. Thankfully to Summit Racing I was able to get a refund. This is a decent water pump. Easy to install, no leaks. But the 35 GPM isn't good for street applications. Need a minimum of 50 GPM. Brand new, radiator, dual fans with shroud, new hoses, new high flow thermostat, complete engine flush and purge. With the factory water pump, my temp never went over 190-195. With this pump, no matter what i do, i'm always hitting 210-220 within about 15-20 mins of driving.KEVIN

The original pump on our 60 gallon weed/fertilizer sprayer has been replaced 3 times in 3 years. After finding water in the motors burning up the brushes, I decided to try this different make/model but same specs pump at half the price! I mounted it upside down this time hoping this will help with my water ruining the motor problem. The best fix would be to mount the pump above the tanks water level though. So far Im very pleased with this pumps performance but well see.locknutoc5
Started out great but within a couple weeks it lost it's power and began pulsing all the time. Have to open up two faucets to get it to send an even flow of water. Buyer also beware you'll have to provide a dedicated 25 amp circuit to power this pump. That should be noted up front in very bold letters. Running new circuits in an RV is not easy. Finding a 25 amp switch can be even more difficult. Too bad as this was a very nice pump at first…Ron H.
The pump is very light in weight so easy to handle. When the pump is working it is pretty quit for the power this pump can deliver. It will function as in description without leakage, if proper connected. A very good pump indeed. This is my first water pump so i had to figure out where the inlet and outlet was positioned and it seemed to be clockwise how the pump turns. Because i couldn't find directions on the pump itself and otherwise in the manual. In the manual also explains that it is wise not to exceed the maximum pressure the pump can deliver but it is hard to tell how much the pump set at a particular pressure level. In the manual i can not find the standard fabric settings. So to determine how much the pressure the pump is set i need a pressure tool. When some obstacles are overcome it its a great pump to have. Installation of this electric water pump allowed enough clearance for me to run my MSD Atomic Intake manifold on my LS7. I was running an Edelbrock water pump and it was a great pump, but it caused interference of the MSD Atomic Intake on the throttle body boss. The Meziere WP319 will allow me to recover the 36 HP and 38 Ft Lbs Torque I lost when I had to remove the MSD intake. It may even gain me 8-10 more HP more from reduction of the parasite loss of a mechanical water pump creates. Easy installation on my project, very happy with results. I also used the Meziere relay kit and a Pico add a circuit to tap into my fusebox for the installation. Works perfectly, looks like factory.MARC
Its a truck style pulley but it WILL fit in the Corvette (LS3). This pump dropped my coolant temps 20+ degrees (Cruising temps before install: 208-210. After: 183-190) Don't second guess this mod. It was well worth the money. Also gave me a noticeable power gain throughout the rev range. If you have a Corvette that runs warmer than you like, GET THIS PUMP. I also had NO ISSUES WITH INSTALLATION. No grinding no clearance issues at all. I don't know why people are saying there are fitment issues? Works fine in my car. Meziere installs a 180 degree thermostat in the top hose port. I called them and they told me to remove the thermostat from the stock location and install the neck with just the rubber gasket in it. Worked perfectly. No leaks no issues. I ended up not drilling the thermostat.ROBERT
