It's water, but without that "water" taste that makes it hard for people (like me) to drink water everyday. It's definitely water – but it's unlike anything I had ever had before. This is the second time I have bought this alkaline water which smells like chlorine. I lost faith in this company for fooling me that it is an alkaline water. So disappointed. Also, during the lock down alkaline water company sent me the same product that taste like chlorine. Too expensive and I just used it not for drinking but for washing. Walmart should never sell the product like this it will just ruin their reputation for the company that are not true with what they advertise.ROG

I would recommend this water jug to anyone and everyone! Since I cannot tolerate the taste of the chemical treated tap water…I was searching for a filter jug. I have tried Brita and Zero but got a bitter aftertaste. Researching online I read that the reason that the water from these filtration systems tasted bitter was because the chemicals that we are used to are removed. I was going to give up and resort to bottled water…and feel guilty each time I opened one. After reading about the choice of alkaline water for ph regulation…I decided to try this product. I have been using the Classic pitcher for at least 8 years now and I have been very happy with it except the timer. I am on my 2nd pitcher and on both the timers never worked. But having said that, I absolutely love the taste of the water. I just keep track and change out the filter every 2 months. When the last filter I purchased made the water taste 'chemical-ly' at room temperature I contacted the company and they promptly sent out a new filter for me. Great customer service! And great job Santevia! I would have given you 5 stars if it wasn't for the timer.Marnie
I have one for home and one for work. Everyone at work has been asking me about it because the water tastes better than the bottled water we have in the staff room Fridge OR Brita filters! In the hospital for a few days now (filtered water here is meh) .. so I’ve been drinking Smart Water. I was running out and had my boyfriend stop to buy some more at our local CVS. They didn’t have the size I needed but they did have the Just Water Spring Water on sale. I’d had it in the past and it was awesome.That was the past and this is now.At 2:30 I woke up, they did all their vital checks and stuff, no issues .. I opened the Just Water and drank half the carton. By 3 PM I started having a headache, nausea to the point of vomiting, gut palpitations and breathlessness. They thought I was having a heart attack! Then suddenly “The Urge” starts and I’m like, “Oh no I need to go now!” It’s not 6 AM and 3 bouts of that later .. and we’d realized the only difference was the Just Water. I open it up and smell and it’s horrible! Like chemicals leached into the water. I was too sleepy still at 2:30 to know! My family did a blind taste test between this and our regular Arrowhead Spring water. Chilled both to the same temp. There are 6 of us, and not 1 person could tell any difference in taste. Thanks for the sample bottles, but due to the much higher cost, we will stick with what we already drink! I will say, It would be a nice drink for those that like to look like they drink fancy, expensive water though. The quality is excellent, great tasting, just like regular Arrowhead Spring water, just not worth the extra cost in my opinion.Littlerabbitsmom
Extremely poor delivery and packaging. I’m giving it 1 star due to the delivery and package. The 3 cases came in 1 big box. The box had the 3 pa Kate’s of boxed waters laying on the side so some of the waters could have leaked. My delivery of this water was left in my drive way instead of by my front door. The boxes inside had been ripped open due to the possible rolling of the box they where inside of. All of the bottle waters had come out of the original boxes. So it looks like this big box was tossed or rolled around. The big box was taped with packing tape to make it look like it was holding up. So sad. Water needs a better delivery service that can handle heavy boxes. Or ship each box of heave waters in smaller boxes individually. That would be the smartest thing to do. Walmart you need to do much better. As far as the water itself. This is good water. I would recommend. But not this delivery service and pacakaging.Amanda

Though I have been drinking AQUAhydrate for over 9 months, as an outdoor runner I've waited until now to review the product after testing it during a hot and humid DC summer. I recently just drank your normal Dasani and Aquafina and my boss struck up a conversation about the controversy concerning those two particular brands of water. Being a runner, water is water and I didn't see the big deal. Any-hoot, I decided to research this claim and discovered what he was referring to and I thought that I'd give alkaline water a go and so I bought several brands of alkaline water and drank on them for a couple weeks. After this phase, I found that the best water out of all of them was Aqua Hydrate. It had some positive effect on me at the gym but I did question either of it was a placebo effect or if it was the actual water. 🤔
