I spent so much time researching different paint options for my basement floor. I finally just had to purchase something and I'm happy to say this product worked great! Prep: I cleaned my floor really well with TSP, and then did a light acid wash with muriatic acid diluted 5-1. Application: I had two cans that I mixed all together in a bucket to paint half my basement floor (550 sq ft), I had plenty to complete the area. It went on nicely, the smell wasn't that bad. I decided not to use the paint flakes after reading of people having issues with sliding items on it. Results: It's only been two months so far, but it still looks very good. No peeling or separation. The tan color really brightens up the basement. I plan to do the other side of the basement in the fall.Michael S

An engaging read for those new to or contemplating a different way of life but a disappointing lack of anything new for readers of blogs on simple living or frugality. I'm disappointed! I did not buy this to be a coffee table book, which apparently every other reviewer did. I was hoping to learn some different style concepts. So if you love white walls and white cabinets with some wood thrown in, go for it. I flipped thru the whole book and not one picture has a colored wall. I am so glad that I bought this book at Target when I saw it a few weeks ago. Apparently it must be popular because the store and others around me have sold out. It is an aesthetically pleasing book. I love perusing the pages and looking at Amber Lewis's beautiful interiors. There are tips on styling and paint, etc. which I find very helpful as well.jevem
