I received the Lovery Tea Tree Bath Set to review. My review is based on my experience and my opinion of the product. Pros- this was a cute set. The white and green basket was adorable and everything was nicely positioned in the set. There was a ton of items. Mine came with shower gel, bubble bath, shampoo, bath salts, body scrub, soap and a few other products as well! Individual product packaging was pretty as well. To start, I think this set would be more appropriately priced at $10-$15 cheaper than it currently is; $55 is a little steep for what you get. Other than that, the products are pretty nice, and the packaging is very cute and giftable as is. Shower steamer and bath bomb are average in my opinion. The massage oil has a lovely essential oil scent- the lemongrass and pepper stand out most to me; like most massage oils I've used it is slightly sticky. The body butter is also a little oily (obviously due to the essential oils) and has a really relaxing lavendar scent. It says not to use on open skin, but I have eczema, used it over some bad breakouts, and it didn't burn or sting. It actually felt a little cooling, but I would probably take it easy on sensitive skin since essential oils can be harsh on it. The bath salts probably have the best presentation and look so nice in the glass jar they come in. Overall it's a nice set and I would be happy to receive this as a gidt- it's just a little too overpriced for what you get.Kim

I know many people don't like receiving these pre-made gift sets. I, on the other hand, don't mind at all. However, many of them come with items that no one wants or would ever use, making them a poor value.In this gift set, you get a wooden massager, a pair of socks, a pair of gloves, 3 small bottles of bath oil, a candle, skin toning cream, soap, a small travel mirror, lip balm, small nail brush, shaver, bath bomb, hand towel, and a sachet of dry potpourri. Everything is neatly packaged in a branded cardboard box.Unfortunately, one of the bath oils leaked and ruined the box. It was stained, soggy, and got greasy oil all over several other items. Boooooo! It seems that the cap wasn't closed tightly enough, causing the entire bottle of oil to be emptied during transit. For that reason, I probably would never gift this as is. Also, there were a few items that I wouldn't add to the gift. The shaver is very cheap and does take away from the other items. Same with the wash cloth. It's very thin and cheap looking. Without those two items, it is much nicer IMO.The scents are mild. Nothing is very strongly scented, not even the bath oils. I honestly wouldn't have even known that one had spilled if I hadn't see the greasy, wet looking stain on the outside of the box. The oil didn't have much of a smell to it.The other items in the gift set are of average quality. What this bath set includes: white socks, small white face towel, white gloves, a roller/massager, a small candle, skin toning cream, dry flower, loofah soap, 3 different essential oils, a razor, a little brush, chapstick, a mirror that says love not a day over fabulous and finally a bath bomb.If you’re shipping this as a gift, the packaging was great. All breakable items were wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent damage. The socks are plush and comfortable. The small towel is also very comfortable and smooth so when you’re using it on your body, it will not scratch. The gloves have a texture to it to remove some of the dead skin. These gloves do run small though. The soy candle is vanilla and is very light relaxing, it’s not overpowering. The toning cream is paraben and cruelty free and it’s made with vitamin E and shea butter so it will lock in the moisture after your bath. Locking in the moisture is critical after a bath to keep your skin hydrated. The essential oils come with 3 different scents: eucalyptus, lavender and coconut vanilla. The eucalyptus is used for stress relief and smells like the outside or a rainforest. All oils have a special top to prevent leakage or putting too much oil in your bath so it’s good proportion control. The massager looks like it’s made out of high quality bamboo material and is manufactured well. You won’t have any pieces that are going to come off. The brush and razor are made from generic one time use materials. Don’t expect a high-end razor but it still serves its purpose. The chapstick is organic and it’s made with beeswax and contains oil.Overall, this is the cutest bath set I have seen and if you have people in your life who love to take baths this is absolutely perfect for them. This bath set is the epitome of relaxation, of having “me” time or just celebrating yourself. Christmas gift in my case, but I'd buy this for an anniversary, birthday, etc. The bath bombs were nice, the oil and salve were great if maybe a tad redundant, but the shower steamers are really interesting.
