I hadn't tried any other products from S.D.J except their body creams, now I have this body wash I received complimentary from Sol De Janeiro. It's so nice that they have been coming out with body products that compliment each other to make your bath experience a relaxing one. I always look for a good lather in a body wash. That and the scent are the first two things. This one met my expectations. It has a really lovely scent that is not too strong. It doesn't linger on my skin too much afterwards which is fine because I apply lotion anyway which would mask that scent. The lather is perfect. It's enough to feel that I am washing cleansing my body well but not too much that I feel it will take forever to rinse off. I have back acne specially around my shoulders and I feel that this body wash really helped to reduce the inflammation of those break outs and smooth out the areas. If you want something that really works and works fast against jock itch or a yeast infection, this is the soap for you. I wish I'd found this product 2 years ago. First I tried a bar soap that is designed to fight fungal infections, it smelled terrible, the smell lingered and it didn't work. I tried all kinds of antibiotic soaps, they didn't work because jock itch or a yeast infection is fungal not bacterial. Next I tried a soap designed for yeast infection for women, it helped, it was soothing but it smelled pretty and didn't help much. Feeling frustrated I typed in jock itch in the search bar and looked through all the items. I saw this and didn't know what to think, the description wasn't very helpful but the reviews seemed optimistic. I was hesitant to buy it because it is expensive but I was so sick of dealing with this problem so I took a chance. WOW! I can't believe what a difference this has made. It's expensive but you don't need a lot of soap to get the job done, it lathers up really nicely, a little goes a long way. I'm not crazy about the scent, to me it smells like Pine-Sol but at least it's a fresh clean smell and it does not linger. From the very first time I used it I noticed a huge improvement. Let's start out by saying if I could give less than 1 star I would. I purchased shea moisture baby shampoo the night before last. I usually only use hello bello baby wash for my baby and have never had a problem. The description on the shea moisture baby label is made to seem its for sensitive skin. After bath last night my baby woke up in a rash head to toe after using this product. My daughter and I both have beautiful curly hair! Which means I have to make the right decisions to make sure her hair is hydrated and strong! My family uses this soap as body soap, also shampoo, and use on our dogs fur. YES. WE. DO. We mix with various Shea Moisture shampoo products to create the perfect product for each family members hair. For example my daughter uses the Shea Moisture shampoo for thick curly hair but the shampoo itself leaves her hair a bit too greasy so she parts it with this Black Soap. The Shea Moisture miracle shampoo I use also leaves my hair with a texture I do not desire but I love the miracle shampoo smell so much, I add in this Black Soap and it makes the perfect concoction for my hair type and personal preference. This coconut body soap has a genuine coconut scent, and not too sweet. Often with coconut scents, it’s paired with vanilla which I find too cloying. It lathers up so well, so you only need a little. Only draw back is the bottle is quite sturdy so not the easiest to squeeze. If you have issues with your grip strength, I’d recommend decanting this into a pump bottle for ease of use.Amy

We have really enjoyed using this Dove Bodywash for All skin types. We always have too many bottles in our shower, his & hers! I love that we can both use this bodywash. My husband was reluctant at 1st, thinking it was just for women, once he tried it he was on board. It doesn't have a strong smell, just clean and fresh. I’ve been using the invigorating mint body wash for a couple weeks now and, like all the other Brickell’s products I’ve tried, this is a game changer too. You can literally feel the mint working on and through your skin in the shower. It’s like the first six or seven chews of your favorite mint gum, it’s so refreshing and always does the trick. It actually just makes me feel better and puts me in a good mood to start my day. I really really dislike the fragrance. I had bought one bottle of each of the different fragrances but used up a bottle before I moved in to the next. Luckily, this was the second fragrance I decided to use. By the third day of use, I was already dreading having to use it. This product was unexpected for me. I'm a simple guy who likes simple things, but I do love quality. I was interested in this product because it was something different but was drawn off by the price. But I am a belivier and this will always be in my daily routine. The charcoal face wash and face scrubs give me life in the morning. I start off with the face scrub to get the grime off my face and lift my hairs, apply the shaving cream (which feels like soft hands by the way) and get to shaving. Following my shave a rinse and wash my face with the charcoal face wash and apply after shave on the shaved areas and face moisturizer on the rest in my face to include eye balm. I'm consistently displeased with the "for women" soap and body wash options on the market. Not every woman wishes to smell like a berry or a lilac. Enter Harry's Stone scented body wash. Yeah, so what it's marketed for dudes. I LOVE IT. Seriously, I look forward to my daily shower so that I can experience this scent. It's like… wet river rocks, citrus, and cologne? I'm terrible with descriptions but the smell is so AMAZING, and rivals boutique body washes like Byredo or Le Labo (both of which left me feeling meh). It also lathers up super well on a loofah. What I love most about this body wash is that it lathers perfectly. Other brands tend to slide right off my hand or feel sticky, but this Harry's body wash stays in place, lathers and spreads smoothly, and leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. The reason for knocking one star off of the review is because I do not love the cypress scent of Wildlands. It's a bright, outdoorsy morning scent that many people will love, but it's simply not my favorite. I've always wondered why other travel bottles have twist-off lids. When my hands are slippery in the shower it can be hard to grip and twist them off. I was excited to find this body wash with a flip-top. Well, it came open in my toiletry bag and it's the strongest-smelling body wash I've ever encountered. When I got to my destination the cap wouldn't stay shut. When I got home I quarantined my toiletry bag because of the smell, then washed it twice and I could still smell the body wash!Pgk

I truly appreicated the fact that Rosa Damascena is the fifth ingredient in this superb shower body wash. It lathers quite nicely and did not leave my skin feeling tight when I left the shower. The smell is truly divine, I smelled like rose (and not an old-lady rose smell) and the fragrance slowly tapered off to a subtle yet delicate fragrance. Smells good, didn't get denied from any females I had relations with..but didn't see anything special happening as far as attracting the opposite sex. It's OK. It's thinner (more watery) than the original body wash. I really don't understand the weird obsession with activated charcoal – it's drying not hydrating so it's counter-intuitive to call this product hydrating. Found these products at my local Target. And I honestly couldn’t choose between Compete or Victory, they both smelled so clean and fresh! So I did what any rational human male would do and bought both! And not just the body wash, but the shampoo and conditioner. Plus Fresh body and face lotion it pairs perfectly with both. Also the deodorant of each as well. Gotta say it’s amazing and the scent actually lasts unlike a lot of other products on the market. I’m most likely a forever buyer as long as nothing changes. I received the Old Spice Hydro Wash moisturizing body wash from Topbox to test and give my honest review. This product has a good, fresh and manly smell. My wife likes it. It promises to be long lasting and I found that it did last a few hours, but it was definitely gone by the end of the day. It cleans as well as any other body wash. It claims to fight dry skin at the source but I didn't really see a difference. I also wish the bottle was recyclable or made from recycled materials. I bought this product on a whim and have been using it for a little over a week. I didn’t have any expectations going in but I have never been so soft and smooth. I feel like my legs are smoother after shaving and overall my skin is just silkier. The pump is bothersome as some others mentioned but it doesn’t bother me so much since the product has been so wonderful. I don’t worry about the lather because I don’t solely use this product as apart of my routine. I coat my skin in this and let it sit for a few minutes then rinse and follow up with a moisturizing then oil body wash. It sounds like a lot but it only takes around 10 minutes and I’m so smooth and hydrated that it’s worth it. Will purchase again.Tompki922

You hardly get any product from each pump and it doesn't lather, so you really need a *lot* of pumps for each wash. I used 50 pumps and that still wasn't enough for one wash. And I am an average sized person. Because it doesn't lather, I feel like it doesn't clean that effectively either (I used a loufah). It also smells like some combination of Dove body wash and some really bad smell. And it seems like that Dove body wash smell is an attempt to mask the bad smell. Though there is no fragrance or masking fragrance listed in the ingredients, so that's strange. And that Dove body wash smell sticks with you even after you leave the shower for a while. I would not buy this again, and I'm considering just throwing it in the trash. I also bought the smoothing Cetaphil body wash in the same order, so hopefully that isn't as bad as this.Alaska

I have been using this for almost a week and I’ve seen a noticeable results for my acne in the arms. It’s just a span of days and my acne are getting disappeared. What I like about it is non-fragrance and very moisturized and gentle for my sensitive skin since I have prone eczema skin. The formula is great and the package can last you a months. Disclaimer is don’t use it everyday because it can cause irritation and just apply it every other day and apply a thick moisturizer to prevent any irritation. Showering with this makes me feel boujie AF. First of all, the scent is that signature we have all come to know and love by Oribe. I can’t really describe it, but it’s great. Second, it’s great for cleansing without drying out my skin. The entire bathroom smells like this while showering and the scent lingers once you get out. This is definitely a treat yourself indulgence given the price, but I must say that the bottle lasts awhile. I received a sample of this recently and it’s just as lovely as I expected it to be, if you love the smell of the hair care line you love this. I noticed when using it a little goes a long way, it foams up beautifully and it’s non stripping and slightly moisturising. This is a lovely gift for someone who loves the hair line, as it’s a bit on the pricey side, though I’m sure it would last quite long due to it being so concentrated. Not something I would buy on the regular more of an extravagant treat.Ursula
