I hadn't tried any other products from S.D.J except their body creams, now I have this body wash I received complimentary from Sol De Janeiro. It's so nice that they have been coming out with body products that compliment each other to make your bath experience a relaxing one. I always look for a good lather in a body wash. That and the scent are the first two things. This one met my expectations. It has a really lovely scent that is not too strong. It doesn't linger on my skin too much afterwards which is fine because I apply lotion anyway which would mask that scent. The lather is perfect. It's enough to feel that I am washing cleansing my body well but not too much that I feel it will take forever to rinse off. Okay, let me start by saying I gave you guys a shot just about two years ago now just by seeing an ad on insta (they def got ya girl pinned as far as ads they show me. 🙄) Your site was one of them. This was when you first dropped da Bom dot come lotion and I bought the shower wash as well soon after. I was so impressed with the shower wash because it was more like a lotion consistency and so conditioning. When this scent eventually dropped in lotion I got it for Christmas from my mother in law bc I introduced their family to this brand. I actually sent an email to you asking if you would be making the body wash and also to suggest (lol genius) in this scent. I say all of this to say, I LOVE the scent I just wished it had that same lather consistency that the first one had in yellow packaging. That one helped with shaving so much and gave so much hydration. It’s definitely more of a shower gel, but still smells amazing, as I haven’t mentioned enough. lol that is why I removed two stars. Love the scent spray and lotion but this is more of a shower gel to me. Still love your products and will continue to use the lotion and the spray but may not get the shower wash. I bought this product on a whim and have been using it for a little over a week. I didn’t have any expectations going in but I have never been so soft and smooth. I feel like my legs are smoother after shaving and overall my skin is just silkier. The pump is bothersome as some others mentioned but it doesn’t bother me so much since the product has been so wonderful. I don’t worry about the lather because I don’t solely use this product as apart of my routine. I coat my skin in this and let it sit for a few minutes then rinse and follow up with a moisturizing then oil body wash. It sounds like a lot but it only takes around 10 minutes and I’m so smooth and hydrated that it’s worth it. Will purchase again.Tompki922
You hardly get any product from each pump and it doesn't lather, so you really need a *lot* of pumps for each wash. I used 50 pumps and that still wasn't enough for one wash. And I am an average sized person. Because it doesn't lather, I feel like it doesn't clean that effectively either (I used a loufah). It also smells like some combination of Dove body wash and some really bad smell. And it seems like that Dove body wash smell is an attempt to mask the bad smell. Though there is no fragrance or masking fragrance listed in the ingredients, so that's strange. And that Dove body wash smell sticks with you even after you leave the shower for a while. I have been using this for almost a week and I’ve seen a noticeable results for my acne in the arms. It’s just a span of days and my acne are getting disappeared. What I like about it is non-fragrance and very moisturized and gentle for my sensitive skin since I have prone eczema skin. The formula is great and the package can last you a months. Disclaimer is don’t use it everyday because it can cause irritation and just apply it every other day and apply a thick moisturizer to prevent any irritation. This Jack Black body wash has a mild scent. It makes you feel nice and clean. If you like to use cologne quite frequently. The scent of the body wash won't overpower the scent of the cologne. I bought the gift packs (mint and lavender body wash) during Christmas 2018 for myself and others and I am now in love with the minty tea tree body wash. I've read great things about tea tree oils antibacterial, antifungal, heaking properties and this body wash delivers by keeping my skin clean and, surprisingly clear. It got rid of a couple blemishes I had practically over night and my skin felt softer and smoother. Who doesn't want that? No body wash has ever done that for my skin. The quality for the price is outstanding. The only con is that my local Wal-Mart has been out of stock for a while now. I very much want this product in my local store. I tried to order it through the Wal-Mart app but they couldn't fill the order. I am patiently waiting for my store to replenish its supply. I can try another location miles away but that's inconvenient. I recommend this tea tree body wash if you're having any skin issues like excessive dryness, break outs, dry skin bumps, etc. I also use a nylon body scrubby that helps exfoliate so the tea tree oil penetrates better. so I love this stuff. I struggle with body odor and this stuff gets rid of it! Before I had to wash 3 times for 2 minutes with 3 different body washes on each arm pit and id still stink, id wash my armpits until they were raw. I was sent a bottle of this shower gel for review purposes. The consistency and feel of the gel is pleasant; it lathers well, feels quite nourishing and does not leave my skin feeling tight or dry. I followed with the Necessaire Body Serum and feel they are a good combination. The packaging's appearance is non-offensive, although not particularly appealing to me, but I really like the twist top. The fragrance is subtle, which is fine as eucalyptus can be quite overpowering, but I'm not sure I would have recognised it as eucalyptus and didn't particularly like it. The first thing that stood out to me was the pretty purple color of the liquid soap through the bottle and the picture of the flowers that show what the scent is. Another thing I noticed right away is the small blue label on the front that reads "hydrate" off to the left in the middle of the bottle. With that, at the bottom of the product bottle, I noticed this product had moisturizing conditioners, gentle cleansers and free from parabens, phthalates and silicones. I was pleased to read that before trying this product. This product smells amazing! When I first open the lid I was blown away at how satisfying the scent was. The product applied easily to my loofah and wash cloth and lathered really good! The scent stayed strong throughout my shower and the soap felt good on my skin. After my shower, my skin felt moisturized and hydrated. I'm used to soap drying my skin out after hot water and soap, but this product did the complete opposite. I’ve been using the invigorating mint body wash for a couple weeks now and, like all the other Brickell’s products I’ve tried, this is a game changer too. You can literally feel the mint working on and through your skin in the shower. It’s like the first six or seven chews of your favorite mint gum, it’s so refreshing and always does the trick. I really really dislike the fragrance. I had bought one bottle of each of the different fragrances but used up a bottle before I moved in to the next. Luckily, this was the second fragrance I decided to use. By the third day of use, I was already dreading having to use it. So thankfully I had another bottle of a different fragrance left in my closet so I could switch to that one. I'm afraid that I really could not stand the fragrance. It smelled rancid. I start off with the face scrub to get the grime off my face and lift my hairs, apply the shaving cream (which feels like soft hands by the way) and get to shaving. Following my shave a rinse and wash my face with the charcoal face wash and apply after shave on the shaved areas and face moisturizer on the rest in my face to include eye balm. That is a good feeling my friends and that by itself is what made Me interested in other products Brickell has to offer which include the body wash, lotions and shampoos. All leave me feeling rejuvenated and freshly cleaned. All other products I have proviously used have gone in the trash and I am pushing this product to my friends day in and day out with sample packs and referral emails for them to try the sample pack. I used the Steel Courage body wash once a day as my main soap product when taking a shower. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Steel Courage performed as a body wash. The product came out of the bottle easily, and it also stopped coming out when I stopped squeezing it. It's a minor thing, but the soap is thick enough that there's no leftover soap on the lid when you stop squeezing, which I like. The soap lathered up quite well, and it didn't take as much soap to complete a full body cleaning as other body washes. In terms of cleanly effectiveness, it performed great. As far as the hydration part of the "2 in 1" claim, I didn't notice particularly softer skin after using it, but it definitely didn't dry my skin out; I used the soap for about a week, so maybe continued use would lead to softer skin. The soap smelled decent. It's hard to describe it exactly, but the product smells "clean," with no strong or unnecessary fragrances. I'd recommend this product to any male who is a teenager or older. Since this was a free product, I don't know how much it will cost in stores, but as long as it's reasonable, I wholeheartedly recommend trying Steel Courage out.Tim726

I’m 50 yo, have phytamous rosacea including rhinophyma and adult acne and have been using the Sportwash on my face and chest for about 6 months, once a day, and I feel like it’s helped lessen flares of both skin conditions. I like to lather it on at the start of my shower carefully trying to not let it run into my eyes during my shower and rinse it off at the end of the shower so it can work its magic in my pores for at least 10 mins. It can cause some sensitivity depending on whether I had used generic tretinoin the night before. If so, I skip the tretinoin that evening. I also use it as 10 minute spot treatment on recent acne lesions, seems to dry em up quicker than my other salycytic acid based spot treaments. Will continue buying.

I received the Old Spice Hydro Wash moisturizing body wash from Topbox to test and give my honest review. This product has a good, fresh and manly smell. My wife likes it. It promises to be long lasting and I found that it did last a few hours, but it was definitely gone by the end of the day. It cleans as well as any other body wash. It claims to fight dry skin at the source but I didn't really see a difference. I also wish the bottle was recyclable or made from recycled materials. This is my goto body wash that I’ve found. It’s gentle on the environment and your skin. The fragrances are really nice, but not overpowering. I feel like I’m having an aromatherapy session when I use them. My favorites are the Douglas fir & Sage, and Rosemary Mint products. I’ve found them good for use as a body wash and shampoo. I have really short hair, so ymmv. I also like that the containers are aluminum and easily recyclable. This is my second bulk order from Alpine and I’ll continue to come back. I’d highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a good all around body wash that smells great and leaves your skin feeling clean and hydrating. After you get over the fantastic packaging (which you never will, not really; the geometric animal etchings *shine* from the shower shelf) and get to the product, the first thing that strikes you is the texture. It is luxuriously smooth: its semi-thick consistency on wet skin distributes satisfyingly evenly. And it’s concentrated enough that maybe 3 dime-size applications cover the entire body. The smell is unusual: its sillage maybe medium potency (for a soap; smell it maybe a foot away) and has more of a muted cedar/autumn-y top note that combines with I don’t know how to describe an olive-oil-soap smell; lastly there’s a semi-sandalwood scent underneath (coconut aroma not present to my nose). I’ve grown fond of the admittedly unusual scent. It’s a mild enough scent that it doesn’t linger much after rinsing. I actually would have liked a more distinct longer-lasting scent, but I so very much appreciate the quality of the ingredients that this elevated skincare supersedes all else. This body wash was recommended to me by my dermatologist to clear up acne along my back and shoulders (female, mid-30s, combination skin). I have struggled for over 15 years with breakouts on my back and shoulders from sweating while wearing a sports bra. This is the first body wash that has helped to clear up these flareups! It even helps prevent razor burn on my legs and bikini line. Love this stuff! Well worth the cost. One bottle lasts me about 4-6 months with conservative, daily use.
My sons dermatologist gave him samples when he was battling ongoing skin infections on his face and body. Showering with this makes me feel boujie AF. First of all, the scent is that signature we have all come to know and love by Oribe. I can’t really describe it, but it’s great. Second, it’s great for cleansing without drying out my skin. The entire bathroom smells like this while showering and the scent lingers once you get out. This is definitely a treat yourself indulgence given the price, but I must say that the bottle lasts awhile. I received a sample of this recently and it’s just as lovely as I expected it to be, if you love the smell of the hair care line you love this. I noticed when using it a little goes a long way, it foams up beautifully and it’s non stripping and slightly moisturising. This is a lovely gift for someone who loves the hair line, as it’s a bit on the pricey side, though I’m sure it would last quite long due to it being so concentrated.
