Reviews:
I used this product this year and loved the results. I used it as my warm up at the beginning of class and felt that even though it introduced some skills early, it challenged my higher students and was great reinforcement for skills already taught. I also used the weekly assessments as a progress monitoring tool to help students that were struggling on a certain concept.
Does not group problems together by standards. Each page has multiple problem types. If your child needs practice in one are, such as multiplying fractions, you will have to flip through each page to find those problems mixed in with others. There is also no explanation for how to do any of the problems, so if they are unsure of the steps this will not be helpful.Lee
It didn't allow me to leave a overall rating or a mark for value. Although I've only been using the resource for four weeks, I like it and I'm glad I purchased it. My school essentially teaches one concept at a time. I don't particularly care for this approach as some students tend to forget what you taught after a few days. I like how this curriculum, or resource, spirals. While there are many problems that show up each week that I didn't teach yet, I've asked parents to support learning at home. Therefore, since I didn't teach all these concepts yet, I use this resource as a homework grade, not as a math report card grade. Students do four problems per night Monday – Thursday, and we correct problems on Fridays. They have a separate assessment for Fridays, but I don't use it. I bought it for my fifth grade class, and I like it so much that I bought another book for my second grade son.lane

Reviews:
I love this book because reading about the places, events, groups, etc. fires my imagination and gives me ideas for creating my own campaigns, adventures, and stories. The book is mostly that. 40 pages of places, history, gods and their portfolios. 60 pages of more detailed places. 20 pages of how all the races fit into the world, 25 more pages of class options, 10 pages of backgrounds. So for players, there's 35 pages of extra options. No new magic items, only a few cantrips to fit the new class options. No monsters or familiars. Again, if you want ideas to help you create your own fleshed out locales, this is your book.rt0bler
