My two daughters ages 8 and 11 have been using Alfred's piano lesson books for over a year This series has something for everyone – both adult and children beginners and intermediate will find a good fit Although it can be confusing to determine where to start each book offers a guide to know which one comes next It ranges from the All-in-One series which includes the lessons theory and solo pieces in one; to levels with separate books for recital lesson theory and finger work There is a steady focus on the fundamental basics of music and piano – fingering note reading musical terminology – all while including some fun and famous pieces This series can be individualized for each learner making it ideal for families with multiple students The price point is reasonable and apart from the theory lessons which need to be written on the books are reusable The pages are colorful and there is a certificate of promotion at the end A parent with a basic knowledge of piano and music can begin the series and then decide when a formal piano teacher is necessary We are very pleased and will continue to use this series with our other child when the time comes
Thank you! Everything is as described.ngarie1979

Reviews:
Great book!! I've listened to it on Audible three times now and loved it so much that I bought the hard copy as well just to highlight and keep for immediate reference. Some of the knowledge in this book, I have applied to my life and it has immediately changed it! He talks about setting up good systems for habits which is honestly a mind-blowing concept! It's so simple but yet I've never thought about it before. Everyone wants to immediately change their habits, myself included, but never have any systems in place to achieve this. This book shows you how to succeed at this. So highly recommended! I've never been a person who had a favourite book but now I am and this is it!Atomic Amy

Love this book! It clearly introduced the astrological and tree of life associations to my readings. Great as a quick reference guide and also enjoyable and interesting to flip through from start to end. A very user friendly guide, descriptions very clear and not fixed and the general vibe of the book has a nice positive tone. I initially borrowed this title book from the library and quickly found it was a must have.Jj
I played with Tarot when i was a teen. Books were hard to locate and usually small. When I purchased this I didn't realize how large the books was. It's pretty hardy. After a short history on the subject it jumps right in. It bases the photos and the cards off the Waithe-Rider-Smith deck but is usable with any standard 78 card Tarot deck. Super user friendly, It breaks down every thing about a card. It's elemental suit, astrological associations, chakra/color relations. Everything. It is the largest source of Tarot information I have ever seen in one spot. I also gifted one to a friend with a deck. Tarot is half knowledge and half intuition, this will definitely give you the knowledge part.Lori
This book has all the information you need to help understand the complexities and utilising tarot to it's full potential. It helps simplify things. From useful spreads to individual cards, elements and more. I like to incorporate astrology into my use of tarot and with this book and a few other great resources combined, it's been extremely helpful not just to me but to others as well, to make better sense of and flourish within readings. Really handy guide.CrystalSpiderWeb
