1. Revenge [Book]

Product Details:
Dear reader,in the early 1990s, i visited eastern oregon for the first time. inspired by its breathtaking scenery, i wrote love letters, a trilogy about a town called rimrock–whose secrets come to light when the patriarch of its wealthiest family is murdered. now here it is, collected in one volume, with a new cover, and a new title, revenge! over the years, jonah mckee acquired vast wealth, power, and an unsavory reputation. though his fatal car crash is ruled accidental, his widow is convinced otherwise and begs her children to find the truth. eldest son max knew his late father could be manipulative, but a letter found among jonah's possessions shows just how many lives were subject to his meddling. that list includes max's brother, jenner–rodeo rider and rebel–who is confronted by a confession that changes his life. but even while the siblings reel from new revelations, stubborn, beautiful casey mckee is kidnapped by an enemy who hates the family enough to destroy them, one by one…if you've enjoyed my earlier novels like unspoken, running scared, and whispers, then i believe you're going to love reading revenge!

Reviews:
Revenge is such a wonderful and engaging series. Especially within the first season. It loses its way a bit in the second but begins to find itself again within the third. The characters, specifically Emily and Nolan quickly became my favourites. If anything, the ending felt slightly rushed and I wish it didn’t feel so forced (without including spoilers). The music played in the episodes were one of the things I appreciated most, introducing me to Angus and Julia Stone. I recommend this show to all of my friends to this date.melissa.r
They don’t make upper class revenge dramas like they used to with this one. I tuned in every episode for Revenge. Emily Van Camp is such a phenomenal actress and I was so glad to see her get more work as Sharon Carter in Marvel. Every detail is salacious, calculated and intelligently sexy. The cast has amazing chemistry and revenge never tasted so sweet. After I finished the show, I got my family hooked and rewatched with them.jennifer.p

This was intense!! It starts out with so much angst and pain. My heart was aching for Bailey and the loss she was dealing with. I loved how Kash was right beside her, giving her what she needed and ensuring that the rest of the family was doing the same when the situation merited it. I love him even more for his responses! What followed took me completely by surprise. I was not expecting much of what happened and I could not look away. Soon I was so caught up in it all that I was turning the pages as quickly as possible. This is filled with twists and turns and more punch than I ever expected! What a great read in every way!carvanz

This book kept me on the edge of my seat.Susan
British Imperialism, Singapore, intolerance, family-dynamics, friendship, misogyny, murder, murder-investigation, British Forces, historical-fiction, historical-research, history-and-culture, law-enforcement The first victim was much lauded as an angel by her husband and many others, but the autopsy revealed cracks in the facade as well as her skull. Then there was the problem of interference and clue destruction by the military that felt more like a cover-up. Add in the personal problems of the main protagonists (these were very important), Singapore and it's many faces, and you have a convoluted murder mystery with a host of red herrings. I loved it and its many colorful characters! I requested and received a free ebook copy from Berkley Publishing Group via NetGalley. Thank you!jT

Reviews:
Good book for a very affordable price. A must readjack0696
I am a big Nora Roberts fan. This book was a great buy. I enjoyed it because it explored several difficult relationships within a family. It was set in the Mid-East, New York, LA, and also London, Paris, and Mexico. There was, of course, a romance. It circled around the daughter, Adrianne and a thief, Phillip. Phillip was very charming and sweet. Adrianne was focused on revenge of her Father (She wanted to steal back her mother's wedding gift (Fire & Ice). Together they made quite a pair.nfb123.641
I usually love her books. This one was very slow and repetitive. Not good to me at all.terbar5851

Exactly as expected. A one sided view of the life of a woman who is clearly a narcissist who lives with delusions of grandeur and a burning desire to be important, and it seems she's had these desires since childhood. Possibly a mix of fact and fiction, but if you don't take it too seriously it's an entertaining read.Georgie girl

This book is fantastic, I made the mistake of watching the movie first but even if you did, not a problem. This is because the book, of course, doesn't follow the movie accurately, which is great because you are able to get backgrounds of each character in the book. I have purposely lagged on finishing this book since I am aware of what the ending is and I am not eager to let go of this book so fast. It is an easy read that could be done in a day or two but I have let the suspense of the book to last me a lot longer. I was not familiar with this author until now but I will be searching for a new piece by him afterwards. You should not be disappointed with this book you are about to experience.john_valdez13
