It is very close to the study Bible I have searched for for years and would have designed myself. It has plenty of space on each page to write or draw. Notes in subscript at the bottom of the pages define translations and denote language usages. The hard cover gives the Bible a sturdy platform that supports notetaking and since the space for notes is on the outside margin of each page, the center of the Bible at the spine does not interfere with note taking. Pencil lines and highlighters do not bleed through but ballpoint pens leave marks on the reverse pages. My color pencils worked exceptionally well for notes and drawings. So, what's missing? There is no concordance and the font is too small for my eyes. However, if those two items were available, this Bible would probably be twice its current size. I will use a separate concordance when needed and get some reading glasses for the small print. I intend to utilize and enjoy this Bible for years of study and reflection.Hansi B.

This is the Bible that I grew up reading. The illustrations are so beautiful that they captivate the imagination, and I remember spending hours poring over this Bible as a child.
