1. Breaking Free From Emotional Eating [Book]
Product Details:
#1 new york times bestselling author of women food and godthere is an end to the anguish of emotional eating—and this book explains how to achieve it. geneen roth, whose feeding the hungry heart and when food is love have brought understanding and acceptance to tens of thousands of readers over the last two decades, here outlines her proven program for resolving the conflicts at the root of overeating. using simple techniques developed in her highly successful seminars, she offers reassuring, practical advice on: – learning to recognize the signals of physical hunger – eating without distraction – knowing when to stop – kicking the scale-watching habit – withstanding social and family pressures and many more strategies to help you break the binge-diet cycle—forever.
Reviews:
Geneen Roth writes from the heart. She knows what she's talking about because it's her own experience. This book is about gaining freedom from compulsive overeating. It's not a diet where foods are restricted, or judged as good or bad. it's about the true freedom of getting in touch with the body's needs and learning to eat to fulfill hunger and taste, rather than emotional comfort. It's about letting go of guilt and eating what we really want instead of what we think we should have. The way to get there is simple, but requires a deep look into our desires and motivations when we want to eat, which is not so simple. I believe that diets don't work and that the no-diet approach as recommended in this book is a way to break free.
From an author who has obviously battled for years like the rest of us with weight, comes a book filled with ideas and a new way of thinking, to set us on a path of conquering our food and weight demons forever. Inside also are alot of quotes from other people that have attended Geneens retreats, that we can all relate to, knowing we are not alone in our battle. Well worth a read.Dale

This book offers the most powerful approach to conquering the control food holds over you and your life, once and for all. I had never come across anything that worked for me until Never Binge Again. I have read lots of negative reviews slaying Glenn Livingston for his grammar and excessive use of capitals and exclamation marks… Im going to be honest, if this guy can help me break the chains of slavery to three decades worth of binge impulses, I couldnt give a f*** how many grammar or spelling errors he makes. And that is exactly what hes done. My Pig is caged forever. I am free. I will never binge again. Worth every penny. Would highly recommend to anyone whos hit rock bottom (unless you have, I doubt youll be open to the approach this book offers). Thank you Glenn!!evabalon
