My son-in-law was thrilled to have this book.JENNIFER
Having bought this book when we were expecting our first child back in 2018 I found the information invaluable in preparing my partner and I for what lay ahead. Since then I have bought this book as a gift for every single one of my friends that are first time expecting dads. It's been met with praise from each one of them. While it is mainly directed at an American audience, such as information on navigating the American medical system, some of the thoughts are still applicable to a lesser degree to other countries, the author does his best to keep the book international. I highly recommend this book.
2. We're Pregnant! The First Time Dad's Pregnancy Handbook [Book]

Reviews:
Well-written, sweet for a baby shower gift. I wish it had more after-birth parenting advice as well, but that's probably in a separate book. Great for first time dads (and moms really). Somewhat small, would fit in a purse or laptop bag etc. It's thick. Cute layout, overall a good buy. I wish I'd been able to give it to my brother earlier as his wife is now 6 months along.Lovemyfam06
This books only strength is the layout week by week through the trimesters but everything else is problematic: the “chummy” writing style, “bro to dad-daycare” themes, and misogynistic and outdated tones throughout. I do not understand why this book is rated so highly. One of the worst books I’ve read in a long time.123
First if all this is a great concept. Moms are not the only ones experiencing Pregnancy for the first time. This little book contains lots of detailed information for Dads that they may not think to ask. Besides the normal details about what the baby is doing week to week, this book includes many other features like what the Mom is going through. It gives good advice on how the Dad should navigate the ups and downs of being pregnant. How to support their partner, what to ask and what not to ask! It gives good lists and timelines to help them prepare the nursery, the home and their lives to be ready. I think this book is very useful yet not over whelming. Just enough information to read for a few minutes each week to be more ready and involved. It even goes on for about 3 months after the baby is born to help guide them through infancy. This was a worthwhile book and it makes a great gift too.Junkpunk

Great book…very informative. Helps the Dad-to-be understand some things that women go through. Nice for Dad's to read v.s. us just "telling" them! Like how it correlates with the other "Your Pregnancy" booksstargirljen416
The book is easy to read and tells you some good information. I would have liked for it to be more medical. It seems to lean more towards the emotional parts of pregnancy. I was looking for signs and symptoms of the entire pregnancy.claudepinner

Reviews:
I read this book during my wife's pregnancy and found it helpful and insightful. It told me what to expect each month, how she'd be feeling, and what was going on with the baby. The author also presents a fairly unbiased perspective on various decisions you'll need to make during the pregnancy. If you want another man's opinion on how to deal with the pregnancy this is it.prestonandjeanine
I loved that there was in index in the back of the book so you could immediately go to your biggest concern of that moment. However, the information in the book was so scatterd you had to scan several pages for information. I bought this book because I have a son on the way in October and I want to be as ready to give my baby a great life as possible! -Daniellelovecats11
My husband really liked this book, and my husband is really conservative about the books he reads. I bought one for his brother and one for my brother-in-law!toomuchkidzstuff

Brilliant book. Perfect the first time, and essential the second. A simple month by month guide to help you prepare for your child. (Better than 10 weeks of NCT).albertwhitbrace
Over halfway through, it's a good book, however the sarcasm is too much for me. I just like to read the important points, not all the pointless jokes etc.petekelk
Admittedly I haven't read it all myself as I bought it for my hubby to read but the bits I have read are informative and wrote In a humourous easy read way. I giggled to myself a few times in the small bit I have read. I do recommend this for a 1st time dad but although it's still a good read for the mum, there is more informative books out there directed at mums to be, going into more detail about what you will be feeling and what symptoms you will have and what size your baby is at each stage etc.charljade

Reviews:
The Most Important Women of the Bible is magnificent. As a woman I couldn't wait for a book like this to come out to read up more on – the women in the Bible the good and the bad starting of course with Eve. It gives you the Scripture verses first to look up, then it gives you their biography and boy did they tell you a lot of information that I didn't know on some of these women. Then they tell you their role in redemption next after that the authors go into the "numbers" for instance for Eve they say "quote Bible verses that name Eve by name 4 " then they go into "things we Wonder " IE "what did Adam and Eve sew the fig leaves together with ?". Now isn't that awesome ? You should get this book, it is very interesting and worthwhile. I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.joyful334209

17. Pregnancy For Dads [Book]

Product Details:
No one is ever completely prepared for the arrival of a baby, whether it be for the first time or the fifth, but most men will agree that the first can be the most terrifying and confusing. author and parenting expert joe kelly is a dad and granddad, and helps any new dad get through the myriad changes that come with the arrival of a new child. many new dads are confused and confounded by this life-changing experience, but in idiot's guides: pregnancy for dads, joe helps new dads understand what their partners are going through, how to help them through it, what they should (and should not) do to help, what their new miracle is going through inside mommy's belly, and so much more, starting with conception and going all the way up to the big day when baby enters this world, (and dad's arms). along the way, joe helps calm fears, dispel myths, and empower new dads with the knowledge they need in order to enjoy and embrace the pregnancy, from start to finish.

I enjoy the guy language the book gives off. I hate when pregnancy books are all about medical terms and not about real life issues or concerns.CHLOE
18. Dude, You're Gonna Be A Dad!: How To Get (Both Of You) Through The Next 9 Months [Book]

Product Details:
Congrats dude! your go-to-guy-guide to being the greatest dad before her due-date. there are approximately 3,712 ways for a guy to look stupid during pregnancy – this book's here to help you avoid all(most) of them. and here's your first hint: focus on what you can be doing for her rather than what's happening to her. she's pregnant. she knows that. you know that. and her 152 baby books tell her exactly what she can expect. that's where john pfeiffer steps in. like any good coach, he's been through it. he's dealt with the morning sickness and doctor visits, painting the baby's nursery and packing the overnight bag, choosing a name, hospital, and the color of the car-seat cover. all the while he remained positive and responsive – there with a "you're beautiful" when necessary – but assertive during the decision-making process (he didn't want to wind up with a kid named percy). and now it's your turn. she might be having the baby, but you have plenty of responsibilities.
