1. Financial Freedom: A Proven Path To All The Money You Will Ever Need [Book]

Product Details:
The international bestseller"this book blew my mind. more importantly, it made financial independence seem achievable. i read financial freedom three times, cover-to-cover." —lifehacker – money is unlimited. time is not. become financially independent as fast as possible. – in 2010, 24-year old grant sabatier woke up to find he had $2.26 in his bank account. five years later, he had a net worth of over $1.25 million, and cnbc began calling him "the millennial millionaire." by age 30, he had reached financial independence. along the way he uncovered that most of the accepted wisdom about money, work, and retirement is either incorrect, incomplete, or so old-school it's obsolete. – financial freedom is a step-by-step path to make more money in less time, so you have more time for the things you love. it challenges the accepted narrative of spending decades working a traditional 9 to 5 job, pinching pennies, and finally earning the right to retirement at age 65, and instead offers readers an alternative: forget everything you've ever learned about money so that you can actually live the life you want. – but most importantly, sabatier highlights that, while one's ability to make money is limitless, one's time is not. there's also a limit to how much you can save, but not to how much money you can make. no one should spend precious years working at a job they dislike or worrying about how to make ends meet. perhaps the biggest surprise: you need less money to "retire" at age 30 than you do at age 65. financial freedom is not merely a laundry list of advice to follow to get rich quick–it's a practical roadmap to living life on one's own terms, as soon as possible.

Reviews:
Tony Robbins once again changes my life and makes it look so easy in the process. (He even explains how he's able to do it in this book.) I didn't understand how to save for retirement or how and why to enter the stock market, but now I think I have a clear understanding of investment fundamentals. I first listened to this as an audiobook in my car, and I listened to it four times over, absolutely enthralled, before I decided to buy the book. As someone who has avoided thinking about these issues, for me to find investing understandable and compelling and actually easy (I now have an appointment with a certified advisor) is amazing to me.starshipgigi
I read Tony Robbins first book "MONEY master the game" and i still use it to remind me of my possible investment future. Unshakeable just continues to reinforce my knowledge about the people and the investment world. The books are my most treasured possessions, bedsides the book of truth (The Bible). If i never read another book on financial prosperity it would be alright with me, because UNSHAKEABLE gives me what i need to know about how to prosper no matter what the economy might throw at you. Thank you Mr. Robbins for your love to the little guy.Alonzo
Hi guys, I ve already bought MONEY, and I found it great but specially if you live and invest in US. My concern I would like to clarify before buying this product, is if UNSHAKEABLE would worth for people living and working for financial freedom not living in the US. Many thanksJose M.

The book teaches you that it is never too late to save for retirement!! I started with the Automatic Millionaire and have tripled our savings account and paid off $10,000 in debt. We will be debt free July '09, except for the mortgage. Starting Aug. '09 I will make triple payments each month and be mortgage free in Sept. '12. We wrote down our bills on a calendar so we could 'see' what was due and found we spent $958 in groceries in January. We were both making grocery stops and not eating or needing everything we bought. Now we pay attention to where money is going and shop at Sam's once a week with a budget in mind. Please pick the book up and give it to your friends!flyqueen87

I don't really think that's the #1 way to financial freedom. I am more interested in the entrepreneurial aspects of leverage to make money. He touched on this briefly.blueberrymandc

7. Money Master The Game: 7 Simple Steps To Financial Freedom [Book]

Product Details:
Tony robbins turns to the topic that vexes us all: how to secure financial freedom for ourselves and for our families. “if there were a pulitzer prize for investment books, this one would win, hands down” (forbes). tony robbins is one of the most revered writers and thinkers of our time. people from all over the world—from the disadvantaged to the well-heeled, from twenty-somethings to retirees—credit him for giving them the inspiration and the tools for transforming their lives. from diet and fitness, to business and leadership, to relationships and self-respect, tony robbins’s books have changed people in profound and lasting ways. now, for the first time, he has assembled an invaluable “distillation of just about every good personal finance idea of the last forty years” (the new york times). based on extensive research and interviews with some of the most legendary investors at work today (john bogle, warren buffett, paul tudor jones, ray dalio, carl icahn, and many others), tony robbins has created a 7-step blueprint for securing financial freedom. with advice about taking control of your financial decisions, to setting up a savings and investing plan, to destroying myths about what it takes to save and invest, to setting up a “lifetime income plan,” the book brims with advice and practices for making the financial game not only winnable—but providing financial freedom for the rest of your life.
Reviews:
There's a lot of good content in this book which is extremely helpful, however I can't help but feel that half of the book is a giant ad for companies that Tony either owns or is associated with. He finished the book suggesting you donate your spare change to a company that helps feed starving kids (great), which is a company that he owns (not so great). I have no doubt that Tony is a great and caring individual, and he comes from the right place with this book, but a lot of it feels like it's designed to draw you to use his products. The book is very much built for the American market, and while some principals are universal, a lot of the advice is not relevant for the NZ market. He hypes up this super portfolio for the whole book, which could have just been shared from the start and saved about 200 pages on this already long and dense read. The book in the middle stages heavily relies on using an app to determine your savings goals and similar, however the app is iOs exclusive, so if you're like me with an android phone then a good 10% of the book can't actually be accessed. Save yourself 30 bucks and just google the principals of the book. If you're still interested, buy it, but saving that use your $30 dollars for something else.Haydn
good book but it has way too much information. Tony may have settled with 150 less pages to make it to-the-point! It does get you to a "solution" quicker, you have way too many data points to possibly get confused. it is a good but, with great data points but if your expectation was to derive a solution that is relevant for you, you will need additional reading.chanegathiya

14. Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money– That The Poor And Middle Class Do Not! [Book]

Robert Kyosaki- Rich Dad Poor Dad is the book that has caused me to 'Think Big'. His formula for success has been tried and proven.Do not believe for one minute after reading this book that education (ie going to school, getting a university degree) is not important. However, look at a number of the rich and famous. Were they always the brightest in school? NO!!!!!! But they had TALENT and a natural knack to succeed. Quite frankly, it is so hard to get a job these days. Many of our young people are coming out of the colleges and universities to sit and do nothing. There are only a few who would think outside the box and try something different. The ones who tend to be different, who are SMART risk takers, who rises every time they fall, who learns from their mistakes and the mistakes of others- tend to succeed. The book is so easy to read. The illustrations that the author use is clear. The text is so easy on the eyes and the language comprehend able so even the average man can understand, be motivated and to be different from the crowd.jm_miche
MOST AMAZING SELF – HELP BOOK I READ SO FAR (Finance related). I have read many books till now but no one can compete Rich Dad and Poor Dad so far. One word to describe it- EYE OPENER A Must read book for everyone. I would definitely recommend to read it once, it's definitely gonna blow your mind.d.d
Phenomenal writing. Maybe the best financial advice offered in a century. Kiyosaki is articulate as he weaves his tale of life experience from mediocre living to great wealth. I know from experience his information is true, because I was taught this when I was young. Rich Dad, Poor Dad should be required reading for all teenagers and adults alike who do not understand how to read the financial pages in the newspaper. He breaks the complexities of economists and bankers down into bite sized pieces for the layman.ashley.r

I consider this book to be essential reading for anybody who is serious about their financial future. It clearly and compellingly lays out the difference in mindsets between wealthy people and poor people. The author uses examples to show how these different thought processes lead to vastly different outcomes.Matt

Reviews:
A common sense reality check about what does and doesn't work with personal money management. No big words, easy to understand, simply teaches how to handle money wisely. It's like a money diet plan. Go to work, set and follow these proper priorities, you will succeed. My favorite suggestion, keep your credit card in a block of ice in the freezer. Of course, if you insist on being a couch potato, this book can't help you. Our country would be better if this was required reading, like make it a ninth grade text book. If you only learn one thing, and you will, it will more than pay for the book.mr.gizmo!
Great book. Clear, concise and relevant. Haven't read a self-help personal finance book as valuable as this.antique-maps
A friend of mine recommended my husband and I to read this book. It gave very simple instructions on money matters. We are at a time in our lives where retirement is not that far away, and even though we have retirement plans, it may not be enough to live in in 20 years. This gives us great insight to paying off bills and getting more into my retirement plan and still have some left over!rindishop

If the goal of you reading this book is to get rich quickly, you've got the wrong book. If the goal of you reading this book is to beat the stock market, you've got the wrong book. If the goal of you reading this book is to understand why money is evil/bad/sinful, you've got the wrong book. If the goal of you reading this book is to see what God has to say about prospering as a Christian, you've got the wrong book. However, if your goal is to understand what the bible says about how we should manage our finances as it relates to our relationship with God, look no further! The book is written as a conversation between two couples. Mr. Dayton and his wife speaking to a younger couple (in this case, Matt and Jennifer). The conversations found in the book alternate between the couples discussing a financial matter and the relevant financial information being explained. The conversations between the couples provide context and relevance for what is about to be explained. The informational section following is inter-weaved into the story. It's an interesting way to keep the flow of information moving along without becoming dry or boring. I've read some financial "how-to" books that dump information out like the spillway of a flooded dam. It's a non-stop torrent that doesn't allow for absorption or explains in what context the information is useful. This book thankfully avoids both! Interesting and relevant charts, funny comics and helpful Q&A blurbs sprinkled throughout the book help to make the book feel modern and relevant. There honestly wasn't any point that I thought was unnecessary or out of place. The book flowed well from a Christian-based perspective. Instead of diving right into how to handle money, Mr. Dayton begins by explaining how money affects our relationship with God. The advice on how to manage your personal finances is solid and faithful to what God's Word teaches us. Mr. Dayton simply expounds on the words found in scripture and shows how to live today. In just under 250 pages, Mr. Dayton lays out a plan that will change your life and your finances for life. Any Christian who is struggling with their finances and wants to see a positive change in their life should invest the time in obtaining, reading and applying this book to their life. The financial principles in this book will work for anyone, but the marriage of the principles directly to scripture makes it a slam dunk to those seeking God's will in their finances.Steph
