Reviews:
I loved aspects of this book – the romance was wonderful and it was well written. There is one horrible character I couldn't take. I was so angry with them I couldn't finish the book and I couldn't believe people would tolerate the character's behaviour. I wouldn't. The writing was so good I'll still read this author's other books, just not this one.Alfie

Reviews:
With a family of 5, planning a trip can be a tricky and complicated thing to do. This book easily provided countless road trip ideas from just a short vacation all the way up to a summer long event. I loved how there were even recommendations for having breakfast, lunch, and dinner at each of the pitstops, which is especially important when we're towing our RV. There were also playlists and podcasts for the routes, places to hike (have to drain your kids energy somehow), and museums to visit. So many choices to choose from, so many pictures to help deciding. We can't wait to plan our next family vacation utilizing this wonderful work of art.
If you’ve ever wanted to take a cross-country road trip this is the time to do it and this is the book to take with you. Includes loads of information for trips all across America: the Pacific Coast Highway, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Appalachian Trail, Idaho’s Rivers and Mountains, Michigan’s Gold Coast, South Florida and the Keys just to name a few. Planned itineraries, tons of tips, maps and even playlists are included. Makes me want to start packing the car! Timely, too. I’m giving it for Christmas 2020.CeeJa
With the COVID-19 pandemic making global travel much more difficult and less safe, vacation options have become limited. Instead of getting on a cruise ship or an airplane, now is the perfect time to pack up the car and hit the road. No matter where you live in America, there are great road trips for you to explore, and this book is packed with information about them. Forget the painstaking process of planning a trip yourself, as this book has day-by-day itineraries, including sights to see and places to eat. There are also condensed itineraries in case you don’t have time to complete the entire trip. As in her previous book, Route 66 Road Trip, the author includes a wide variety of playlist selections for your journey. Definitely load up your MP3 player or phone with these songs before starting your adventure. In addition to music, she also includes podcasts that can illuminate and enrich your excursion even more. Incredibly well-researched and informative, this book is an absolute must if you're planning on exploring the open road. Stay safe, and have a blast hitting the pavement.
