1. 9/11-Enemies Foreign And Domestic [Book]
Product Details:
9/11-enemies foreign and domestic proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the u.s. government's conspiracy theory of the attacks on september 11, 2001, is a preposterous cover story. the evidence proves that powerful zionists ordered the 9/11 attacks, which were perpetrated by israel's mossad, aided and abetted by treacherous high officials in the u.s. government. 9/11-enemies foreign and domestic identifies the traitors by name and details their subversive crimes. there is sufficient evidence in 9/11-enemies foreign and domestic to indict important officials of the u.s. government for high treason. the reader will understand how the u.s. government really works and what sir john harrington (1561-1612) meant when he said: "treason doth never prosper: what's the reason? why if it prosper, none dare call it treason." there are millions of americans who have taken an oath to defend the u.s. constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. the mass media, which is under the control of a disloyal cabal, keeps those patriotic americans ignorant of the traitors among them. j. edgar hoover, former director of the fbi, explained: "the individual is handicapped by coming face-to-face with a conspiracy so monstrous-he simply cannot believe it exists." 9/11-enemies foreign and domestic erases any doubt about the existence of the monstrous conspiracy described by hoover and arms the reader with the knowledge required to save our great nation. "my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." hosea 4:6.

Reviews:
This book is a must read for all high school students. It outlines the beginnings of the radical Islamic forces and its intent to spread the Islamic faith through force or fear. It is not a religion of peace but one of subjugation, threats and murder. Read and learn for we will soon have to deal with them as the world did with Hitlerhudsonkane2rk3

3. The Road To 9/11: Wealth, Empire, And The Future Of America [Book]
Product Details:
"scott's brilliantly perceptive account of the underpinnings of american governmental authority should be made required reading. the book vividly depicts the political forces that have pushed this country toward an abyss, threatening constitutional democracy at home and world peace abroad. its central message can be understood as an urgent wake-up call to everyone concerned with the future of america."—richard falk, author of the great terror war"peter dale scott is one of that tiny and select company of the most brilliantly creative and provocative political-historical writers of the last half century. the road to 9/11 further secures his distinction as truth-teller and prophet. he shows us here with painful yet hopeful clarity the central issue of our time—america's coming to terms with its behavior in the modern world. scott does not undertake conventional political analysis; instead, he engages in a kind of poetics, crafting the dark poetry of the deep state, of parapolitics, and of shadow government. as with his earlier work deep politics and the death of jfk, scott has no theory of responsibility and does not name the guilty. rather, he maps out an alien terrain, surveying the topography of a political shadow land, in which covert political deviancy emerges as the norm. he shows how such parallel forces of the united states have been able to dominate the agenda of the george w. bush administration, and that statements and actions made by vice president cheney and defense secretary rumsfeld before, during and after september 11, 2001, present evidence for an american 'deep state' and for the so-called 'continuity of government' in parallel to the regular 'public state' ruled by law. scott's brilliant work not only reveals the overwhelming importance of these parallel forces but also presents elements of a strategy for restraining their influence to win back the 'public state', the american democracy."—ola tunander, international peace research institute, oslo"a powerful study of the historic origins of the terrorist strikes of september 11, this book offers an indispensable guide to the gluttonous cast of characters who, since watergate and the fall of nixon, fashioned an ever more reckless american empire. by exposing the corrupt u.s. 'deep state'-transfer of public authority to america's wealthy and to the nation's unaccountable secret intelligence agencies-peter dale scott's the road to 9/11 illuminates the path toward a more democratic and inclusive republic."—david macgregor, king's university college at the university of western ontario"the road to 9/11 provides an illuminating and disturbing history of the american government since world war ii. scott's account suggests that the 9/11 attacks were a culmination of long-term trends that threaten the very existence of american democracy, and also that there has been a massive cover-up of 9/11 itself. can it be saved?' that question opens this book, and getting to the answer called for the honed intellect of a scholar and the sensitivity of a poet. peter dale scott has both, in spades, and here gives us much, much more than a book about 9/11. in a time of fear, he speaks for sanity and freedom."—anthony summers, author of the arrogance of power
Reviews:
Scott did the legwork that links several puzzles leading up 9/11, the Patriot Act and the military act of 06. Scott does not go into 9/11 itself and I get the impression that he believes the official conspiracy. Not important as we have other excellent sources for 9/11 such as Dr. Judy Wood's text. What Scott reveals is just how powerful the USA deep state really is. Get this book.hunter-scout
4. Fall And Rise: The Story Of 9/11 [Book]
Product Details:
The new york times bestseller 'the farewell calls from the planes… the mounting terror of air traffic control… the mothers who knew they were witnessing their loved ones perish… from an author who's spent 5 years reconstructing its horror, never has the story been told with such devastating, human force' daily mail this is a 9/11 book like no other. masterfully weaving together multiple strands of the events in new york, at the pentagon, and in shanksville, pennsylvania, fall and rise is a mesmerising, minute-by-minute account of that terrible day. in the days and months after 9/11, mitchell zuckoff, then a reporter for the boston globe, wrote about the attacks, the victims, and their families. after further years of meticulous reporting, zuckoff has filled fall and rise with voices of the lost and the saved. the result is an utterly gripping book, filled with intimate stories of people most affected by the events of that sunny tuesday in september: an out-of-work actor stuck in an elevator in the north tower of the world trade center; the heroes aboard flight 93 deciding to take action; a veteran trapped in the inferno in the pentagon; the fire chief among the first on the scene in sleepy shanksville; a team of firefighters racing to save an injured woman and themselves; and the men, women, and children flying across country to see loved ones or for work who suddenly faced terrorists bent on murder. fall and rise will open new avenues of understanding for everyone who thinks they know the story of 9/11, bringing to life – and in some cases, bringing back to life – the extraordinary ordinary people who experienced the worst day in modern american history. destined to be a classic, fall and rise will move, shock, inspire, and fill hearts with love and admiration for the human spirit as it triumphs in the face of horrifying events.

Decades after the deadliest terrorist attack on the united states, an event that left no aspect of american foreign or domestic policy untouched, the 9/11 report: a graphic adaptation, offers an accessible account of the most defining event of the century. on december 5, 2005, the 9/11 commission issued its final report card on the government's fulfillment of the recommendations issued in july 2004: one a, twelve bs, nine cs, twelve ds, three fs, and four incompletes. here is stunning evidence that sid jacobson and ernie colón, with more than sixty years of experience in the comic-book industry between them, were right: far, far too few americans have read, grasped, and demanded action on the commission's investigation into the events of that tragic day and the lessons america must learn.using every skill and storytelling method jacobson and colón have learned over the decades, they have produced the most accessible version of the 9/11 report. jacobson's text frequently follows word for word the original report, faithfully captures its investigative thoroughness, and covers its entire scope, even including the commission's final report card. colón's stunning artwork powerfully conveys the facts, insights, and urgency of the original.

10. The Only Plane In The Sky: An Oral History Of 9/11 [Book]
Product Details:
"over the past eighteen years, monumental literature has been published about 9/11, from lawrence wright's the looming tower, which traced the rise of al-qaeda, to the 9/11 commission report, the government's definitive factual retrospective of the attacks. but one perspective has been missing up to this point–a 360-degree account of the day told through the voices of the people who experienced it. now, in the only plane in the sky, award-winning journalist and bestselling historian garrett graff tells the story of the day as it was lived–in the words of those who lived it. drawing on never-before-published transcripts, recently declassified documents, original interviews, and oral histories from nearly five hundred government officials, first responders, witnesses, survivors, friends, and family members, graff paints the most vivid and human portrait of the september 11 attacks yet. in new york city, first responders confront a scene of unimaginable horror at the twin towers. from a secret bunker underneath the white house, officials watch for incoming planes on radar. aboard the small number of unarmed fighter jets in the air, pilots make a pact to fly into a hijacked airliner if necessary to bring it down. in the skies above pennsylvania, civilians aboard united flight 93 make the ultimate sacrifice in their place. then, as the day moves forward and flights are grounded nationwide, air force one circles the country alone, its passengers isolated and afraid. more than simply a collection of eyewitness testimonies, the only plane in the sky is the historic narrative of how ordinary people grappled with extraordinary events in real time: the father and son working in the north tower, caught on different ends of the impact zone; the firefighter searching for his wife who works at the world trade center; the operator of in-flight telephone calls who promises to share a passenger's last words with his family; the beloved fdny chaplain who bravely performs last rites for the dying, losing his own life when the towers collapse; and the generals at the pentagon who break down and weep when they are barred from rushing into the burning building to try to rescue their colleagues. at once a powerful tribute to the courage of everyday americans and an essential addition to the literature of 9/11, the only plane in the sky weaves together the unforgettable personal experiences of the men and women who found themselves caught at the center of an unprecedented human drama. the result is a unique, profound, and searing exploration of humanity on a day that changed the course of history, and all of our lives.

This is an oral history by those who participated in the events or 9'11. It covers the tragic events of that day through the recollections of people who were there and lived it. The title is based on Air Force One which after a certain point in the day was the only aircraft flying over North america after the general grounding of all civil and commercial aircraft after the attacks on the twin towers of the World Trade Center. It goes on to the cockpits of fighters that were scrambled to intercept the one remaining airliner, Flight 93 which was the last re,aining hijacked plane that had not then hit its intended target. This is a must read for the ages.SANDY

14. 30,000 Stitches: The Inspiring Story Of The National 9/11 Flag [Book]
Product Details:
An masl dogwood reader's award title discover the inspiring story of the american flag that flew over ground zero, traveled across all fifty states as it was repaired, and returned to new york as a restored symbol of unity. in the days following september 11th, a 30-foot american flag hung torn and tattered at 90 west street, across from ground zero. a few weeks later, the flag was taken down by a construction crew and tucked away in storage, where it stayed for nearly seven years. nysty brought the flag with them, sparking a grassroots restoration effort that traveled over 120,000 miles across all fifty states, bringing together thousands of people, and helping america heal and rebuild . . . hand by hand, thread by thread, one stitch at a time. this book is the story of that journey, a journey that ended at the opening of the national september 11 museum, where the flag remains today. along the way, the flag was restored using pieces of retired flags from every state–including a piece of the flag that abraham lincoln was laid on after he was shot at ford's theater and threads from the original star-spangled banner flag, which flew at fort mchenry in the war of 1812 and inspired francis scott key to write the national anthem. the pieces and threads were stitched in by military veterans, first responders, educators, students, community-service heroes, and family members of 9/11 victims, among others. at each stop, communities came together to remember, to heal, and to unite.
Reviews:
This is a beautifully done book for children about the National 9/11 flag. Young and old alike can learn something from this book. I did not know the flag had traveled through the fifty states so this was interesting for me. It is appropriate for elementary aged children. This is a wonderful choice for a school library and to read to your class as we remember this tragic day. The restored flag is a symbol of hope, healing, and unity for our country. I loved the illustrations by Sally Wern Comport. You will see snippets of the flag throughout the book. At then end are photographs of people across the country adding stitches to the flag. I received a copy of this book from Hachette Book Group for my honest review. Thank you.Bethany
Fifty states, thousands of hands, and 30,000 stitches later, the flag returned home to New York City. Thirty feet wide. Twenty feet tall. Full of hope. Full of strength, Amanda Davis writes in her childrens book, 30,000 Stitches: The Inspiring Story of the National 9/11 Flag. ~ What ~ This forty-page oversized hardbound with a matching jacket targets children five to eight years old who want to learn what happened to the American flag that was damaged on September 11, 2001 in New York City. With no scary scenes, it focuses on remembering the tragic event that occurred almost twenty years ago. The illustrations are vibrant and interesting as they follow the flag being repaired across the United States. The ending includes an authors note, acknowledgments, sources, reflections, and photo credits. Honoring our flag is important, especially when it was one that was marred due to the World Trade Towers collapsing. This weaved story starts with the flag being stored until six years later, when it is moved from town to town and coast to coast among the fifty states to be stitched and repaired by survivors, war veterans, educators, first responders, service heroes, and many others. The book commemorates its return to New York and also includes more information, photos, and its restoration process. ~Why ~ Since it soon will be twenty years since 9/11, this book is wonderful for children and adults to read and remember what the red, white, and blue flag means to Americans. I appreciate that its content is sensitive about the many lives lost yet includes how the fabric of America is strong, heals, and endures. A read like this helps repair scars, restores faith, and unites its people. Adding the photographs at the end solidifies how important a task it was to fix the thirty by iconic symbol we cherish. ~ Why Not ~ Those who are not patriotic or have no love for America or its flag will have no interest in the book. Children with sensory issues may find some of the illustrations too busy. Some of the two and three-syllable words may be hard for beginner readers. ~ Wish ~ It would be nice if similar books that promoted history and patriotism were written for our children. ~ Want ~ If you want your young child to remember 9/11 in an uplifting, honoring way twenty years after the tragic event happened, this inspirational book about our flag raises hope and unity out of the ashes of the past. Thanks to Hachette Book Group, WorthyKids, and the author for this complimentary book that I am under no obligation to review.Connywithay
I lived in NYC when 9/11 happened. My apartment was just a mile away and the dust seeped into every crevice. I remember that day well. This book captures the hope and America's will to survive and thrive that took place after 9/11. It is a book of healing for those who were there and those from afar who still felt the pain of that day. The book follows the inspirational story of the flag that was flown at Ground Zero after the tragedy. It became worn and frayed. Eventually, it was taken down. But it still had life to it, and it was lovingly restored by Americans from all walks of life and from all over the country. This would be a wonderful book for educators and parents to read to children as well as for young children to read for themselves. It is an inspiring book!BiculturalMama

A deeply moving story about community and resilience, from the point-of-view of the callery pear tree that survived the attacks on september 11, from eisner award-nominated author-illustrator sean rubin. * "a resonant, beautifully rendered testament to life and renewal." —kirkus, starred reviewin the 1970s, nestled between the newly completed twin towers in new york city, a callery pear tree was planted. over the years, the tree provided shade for people looking for a place to rest and a home for birds, along with the first blooms of spring. on september 11, 2001, everything changed. the tree’s home was destroyed, and it was buried under the rubble. but a month after tragedy struck, a shocking discovery was made at ground zero: the tree had survived. dubbed the “survivor tree,” it was moved to the bronx to recover. and in the thoughtful care of the new york city department of parks and recreation, the callery pear was nursed back to health. almost a decade later, the survivor tree returned home and was planted in the 9/11 memorial to provide beauty and comfort…and also hope. this is the story of that tree—and of a nation in recovery. told from the tree’s perspective, this very tree is a touching tribute to first responders, the resilience of america, and the restorative power of community.
Reviews:
With muted illustrations, the story is told from the perspective of the very real pear tree that was maimed, carefully tended, healed, and brought back to the place that once was its home but now rebuilt with hope for the future. It is a marvelous book. The end matter also describes that there has been a program in which seedlings of the Survivor Tree are sent all over the world to communities suffering from serious tragedies. We can only hope that they have been sent to areas of typhoon, wildfires, hurricanes, and devastating armed conflicts. Every public library needs a copy of this book.jT

Great human stories! I got the book quickly and it was in very god shape. It's an easy read and the stories are so compelling. I never really knew much about that and at such a terrible time in our history to hear such heartwarming stories gives us all hope for the good to win in this world!thomgirl33
Thoroughly enjoyed this true story. I had no idea how the people of a small town in Gander Newfoundland supported so many stranded passengers of aircraft after 9/11. These were all people who were on flights that had to be diverted and this tiny town was the spot. It is a lovely story of how humans can band together to support their fellow humans (& animals in this case also!).JB
