Reviews:
Not a bad book for beginners, but I found the lack of good diagrams and the somewhat antiquated pictures disappointing. The section on the all-important foot stance was particularly unhelpful, with the pictures of opened and closed stance being almost indistinguishable if not incorrect. The critical stabiliser is also given only a short mention, and discloses no details on what the different types of stabiliser actually do. Try shooting FITA without a stabiliser – No chance of a podium finish. Hmm, in all there seems to be something lacking in this book and it probably needs an overhaul from the publisher to bring it up to scratch. Anthony K.check*and*reuse
The book is well organized and approaches the sport of archery in a logical manner from beginner to competitor.250elmer

I am getting back to archery from a 40 year break and I found this book to be a huge help.Boneman
B. Sorrells begins with equipment set up and tuning. Shooting starts at three feet and is gradually extended to five, ten, twenty, forty and sixty feet. This is twenty yards and is a very hunt able distance. Sorrells believes we can all shoot instinctive out to twenty yards. Some may be able to shoot beyond this distance. With this much shooting, measuring distance is not required. Your mind, muscles and eyes all work together to hit the mark. This system works. A very good read. I have recommended this book to friends.Wind In His Hair
