Mikki Kendall covers a wide range of topics, from white supremacy in feminism to "the fetishization of fierce", yet none are rushed through. As a trans person I am incredibly grateful for the recognition of trans people, specifically trans women, throughout this book. I love the fact that there is still someone out there, and I'm referring to the author, who still has some perspective on what male-female dynamics should be. He not only explains the psychological differences between men and women, he also gives examples on how entire countries have gone against nature and destroyed this dynamic and in the process destroyed those men and women. Countless human beings have lost their sense of purpose in life, and apathy is rampant. If we were to follow Mr. Makow's guidelines, as a nation, this country would be a far happier place to live in. Every single chapter is an eye opener. It is almost impossible to put this book down once you start reading. The final few chapters talk about the Illuminati and how it functions and aims to control everyone and everything. This section for me was a good review for what I've read in other books prior to this one. The reader can decide how much of this to believe in but Mr. Makow makes a convincing argument. If we were to observe our current surroundings, and compare them to the point of view that the author gives, you'd be hard pressed to find any inconsistencies. If I could, I'd distribute this book for free to everyone with an open mind.maimoonkhan

A quick and interesting read. Chimamanda's writing drew me in as usual. She's one of my favourite authors. This little book highlights the challenges faced by all women, but in particular African women, in male dominated societies. She has an approach to Feminism based on Common Sense which is appealing and not as ambigious or unforgiving as the New Wave of Feminists. An essay that those of us who enjoy flirtation and high heels but want to be taken seriously in our careers and day to day lives can relate to. Okay, I'm not very eloquent or good at putting my point across despite the gazillion books I 've read but you get my point, it's worth reading and approaches the subject of Feminism without alienating anyone.estmur-85

This is a really really basic book that I wouldn't recommend to anyone over the age of 16. I actually struggled to read it because it never presented anything edgey or fresh or new! Each page was telling me things I already know. You're better off just following her on Instagram than buying the book, as it's not worth the money. Also, all of the ideas put forward are recycled from Chidera Eggerue. If you are interested in this type of book, check out What A Time To Be Alone instead.Frankie

Feminist Fight Club puts into words what the genuine challenges are for modern working women. It isn't overt sexism, it is ingrained, incessant behaviour that men and women are so used to, they barely recognise it. But now I see it, I hear it and I have a call to action that I haven't had before. Not because I work with men who are horrible, sexist pigs, but because they would genuinely be horrified to hear that they create an environment that is not conducive to success for everyone – especially women. Such a good read I bought 2 copies to hand out as gifts at Christmas. A must have book for all working women. Oh – and a great read for men as well!Lorelle
