This was a requirement for our permanent deacon program. The book beautiful and well made. Although small, the print is clear, clean, and legible. I'm older so I don't see as well as I used to. The design on the cover is beautiful versus the Liturgy of the Hours which I now use to say my prayers. This book is compact and easy to carry. If you are a beginner to the universal prayers of the church this is for you.
I just started praying the LOTH with this book. I am starting to get it. Still trying to figure out when I use the biblical readings in the back of the book and the non-biblical readings. I truly enjoyed this book from Sheila Walsh, author, TV host and all-around encourager. "Praying Women" is a book that would be good for any age–she also writes in a way that is inclusive and inviting. If you've ever felt like it was too hard to pray or if you're not sure what to pray or even how to pray, this book is for you. Walsh explores many of the hindrances that hold women back from truly seeking God in a personal, relational way.
