Reviews:
I have been listening for several years but found this program late in my career so I didn't benefit like some others. However I was already doing some of the suggested exercises. I have been giving these books to my grandkids to hopefully keep them from being normal and giving them a program that can benefit them from an early age. One of them actually took a couple of classes in high school involving Dave's program and was very excited when I gave it to him. The funny thing is most of them already started down the wrong path. Each time I give one out I have to explain why their parents and society have shown them the wrong habits. Someday they will be debt free and just like your other listeners they will blame it on me and the book I gave them. I wish some one had given me one.Jerrold J.
This book is So good that I’ve bought a hand full Of extra copies to pass along if and when others are interested. I started with it 15 years ago, deviated and made some mistakes for about 8 years, Got back to it 1.5 years ago and realized why did I deviate but very happy to be back on track. My wife and I are debt free! we’ve paid the majority of our three kids undergraduate college cost, they worked to pay some themselves which I insisted they do. We are one year away from our youngest completing his undergrad degree, they all will have or get their undergrad with no debt, my older son will have $140k of loans from his Medical Doctors degree when he graduates in 2024 (wish he didn’t have it but we’ve chosen to keep it fair between children and he’s in for a great career). It is scary for the others in his class as he hears a lot of them have 200+ debt from undergrad and will add another 300k from med school, they will have over $500k total debt when they graduate – just scary to me. My daughter is a chemical engineer with a great job at a bio pharma company and my youngest will graduate next spring with a cybersecurity degree, And we just paid off our mortgage in June 2022!!!! We’re truly Debt Free!!! Thank you for the guidance to help us tweak a few things and get across finish line. We did become baby step millionaires btw when we turned 45, I am now 51 and my wife is 52. I am a Chemical engineer and she got an engineering degree but stayed home to raise the kids up until our youngest was 18 which was two years ago. She now works for a procurement group. My income is 200k per year and hers is 45k per year. A big mistake I made was with buying into whole life insurance but I have replaced it with a 20 year term in June of this year 2022 with the help from Zander insurance. The proceeds paid off our house and we are off to saving and investing now!! The other mistake I made was using OPM and equity in my house to buy three rental properties. I have sold all three as of three years ago. My budget has us saving $110k after tax and after our 401ks are maxed out, per year in a year from now once we’re done assisting with kids college. We will now be looking to see how we can give a portion of this as well as saving/ investing. I may buy another rental if I can pay cash for it, I haven’t decided if I want to get back Into that yet or just go For mutual funds and save some time and headaches of being a landlord. I share all this as I listen to Ramsey every morning to help me stay on track and motivated – love it! So this is my story for you in a nutshell.George B.
It’s a good read, common sense advice that everyone should know and probably does. The problem being most people today love 2”two things in life and would be lost without them, Debt and Drama. One comes along with the other. You see it everywhere. People all around, Oh i can’t pay my bills, i can’t buy food for my family! Yet they’re driving a $50,000 vehicle because “They need it to fit everyone in”. It’s ridiculous. I tell my sister every Christmas when she wants to borrow mkney to buy her grandkids all 11 of them, gifts they won’t care about who bought them in a week or give them money instead. I try to teach her she just doesn’t want to hear it. What happened to the days of just doing what you can afford, not what you go in debt for.Chris C.

Reviews:
This book teaches about what money actually is – not the coins and paper bills that you think. This book, quite literally, changed the quality of my life for the better, and the change has stayed with me over many years. Readers who follow the seven steps outlined in this book, even a few of them, will find themselves spending less money and enjoying life more. It teaches a new conscious awareness of the life energy that is represented by the money that flows through our fingers, and it helps understand where we send that flow, and what we put our focus on. If you've ever complained about not having enough money, or spending too much time working to get money, we highly recommend this book.sourceredesign
Great book to get you seriously thinking about your life, happiness, money, and how these integrate and influence each other. Some very thought provoking passages and practical exercises. I suggest reading right through once and going back to the exercises which will take some time to do, however just reading it makes some powerful impressions.VA
Got it right when I wasn't watching for it. So far, still reading, but the content is definitely worth the while and wait. Thank goodness.jests0

I love this book. It is very practical and challenging and ensures that you take a big picture look at your life and money. It helps you get perpective on the important things in your life. I have bought additional copies and have given them away as gifts to others. I also purchased and have listened to the audio presentation of this material. We are going through it now in my Saturday book review club.cwar6487
The book gives the reader an alternate view of money. There are tools to help gain control of finances. It helps the reader value dollars in terms of time, of which we only have so much. Also, it warns of the evils of debt. Trading all of your life's energy for things will not produce prolonged happiness. Our society has become obsessed with money and things. The book teaches how to live comfortably on reduced income. These days that is valueable.infin1ty

7. Financial Freedom: A Proven Path To All The Money You Will Ever Need [Book]
Product Details:
The international bestseller"this book blew my mind. more importantly, it made financial independence seem achievable. i read financial freedom three times, cover-to-cover." —lifehacker – money is unlimited. time is not. become financially independent as fast as possible. – in 2010, 24-year old grant sabatier woke up to find he had $2.26 in his bank account. five years later, he had a net worth of over $1.25 million, and cnbc began calling him "the millennial millionaire." by age 30, he had reached financial independence. along the way he uncovered that most of the accepted wisdom about money, work, and retirement is either incorrect, incomplete, or so old-school it's obsolete. – financial freedom is a step-by-step path to make more money in less time, so you have more time for the things you love. it challenges the accepted narrative of spending decades working a traditional 9 to 5 job, pinching pennies, and finally earning the right to retirement at age 65, and instead offers readers an alternative: forget everything you've ever learned about money so that you can actually live the life you want. – but most importantly, sabatier highlights that, while one's ability to make money is limitless, one's time is not. there's also a limit to how much you can save, but not to how much money you can make. no one should spend precious years working at a job they dislike or worrying about how to make ends meet. perhaps the biggest surprise: you need less money to "retire" at age 30 than you do at age 65. financial freedom is not merely a laundry list of advice to follow to get rich quick–it's a practical roadmap to living life on one's own terms, as soon as possible.

Reviews:
I consider this book to be essential reading for anybody who is serious about their financial future. It clearly and compellingly lays out the difference in mindsets between wealthy people and poor people. The author uses examples to show how these different thought processes lead to vastly different outcomes.Matt
Life changing. It gives a clear explanation of the financial world. It gives advice on what you should and shouldn't be doing. A powerful lesson for those that want to learn.gigo_8794
The content of the book is catching, the reading is fluid. It is very easy to follow the narrative and language is very accessible. It is, however, disappointing to find that the book was 'bulked up' by repeating sections of the book within itself.Domingos

Reviews:
Mel Robbins High Five Habit is one of the best books I’ve ever read, I love the way she reads it to you on Audible. It sounds just like she is sitting next to you. Her and tony Robbins are my favourite. Definitely a must read. She is so inspirational.becky.l
There's a lot of good content in this book which is extremely helpful, however I can't help but feel that half of the book is a giant ad for companies that Tony either owns or is associated with. He finished the book suggesting you donate your spare change to a company that helps feed starving kids (great), which is a company that he owns (not so great). I have no doubt that Tony is a great and caring individual, and he comes from the right place with this book, but a lot of it feels like it's designed to draw you to use his products. The book is very much built for the American market, and while some principals are universal, a lot of the advice is not relevant for the NZ market. He hypes up this super portfolio for the whole book, which could have just been shared from the start and saved about 200 pages on this already long and dense read. The book in the middle stages heavily relies on using an app to determine your savings goals and similar, however the app is iOs exclusive, so if you're like me with an android phone then a good 10% of the book can't actually be accessed. Save yourself 30 bucks and just google the principals of the book. If you're still interested, buy it, but saving that use your $30 dollars for something else.Haydn
good book but it has way too much information. Tony may have settled with 150 less pages to make it to-the-point! It does get you to a "solution" quicker, you have way too many data points to possibly get confused. it is a good but, with great data points but if your expectation was to derive a solution that is relevant for you, you will need additional reading.chanegathiya

12. The No Spend Year: How You Can Spend Less And Live More [Book]
Product Details:
Personal finance journalist, michelle mcgagh, takes on a challenge to not spend money for a whole year in an engaging narrative that combines personal experience with accessible advice on money so you can learn to spend less and live more. michelle mcgagh has been writing about money for over a decade. you'd think that would make her a whizz with her own cash, right? wrong! spending with abandon and ignoring bank statements were her modus operandi. just because she wasn't in serious debt, apart from her massive london mortgage, she thought she was in control. she wasn't. something needed to be done but rather than cut back here and there, michelle's approach was more radical. she set herself a challenge to not spend anything for an entire year. she pays her bills and she has a minimal budget for her weekly groceries and household essentials but otherwise michelle doesn't spend any money at all. she is finding creative ways to get the things she needs, to travel and to still be able to enjoy her time. not only has she saved money but she is happier: no longer feeling the desire to buy things all the time or feeling the pressure of being sold to. her relationship with money, with things, with time, with others has changed for the better. the no spend year is michelle's honestly written and personal account of her challenge. but it is more than that, it is also a tool for life that will help you get to grips with your own financial situation. she talks about money in an accessible, unintimidating and often entertaining way and interspersed throughout are really brilliant personal finance tips and life hacks about interest, mortgages, savings , pensions and spending less to help you live a more financially secure life too.

15. Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money– That The Poor And Middle Class Do Not [Book]
Product Details:
Kiyosaki learned early on that the real reason the rich get richer and the poor get poorer fix the financial savvy passed down from one generation to the next, rather than the money itself. rich dad, poor dad uses the author's two "fathers"–one, an entrepreneur who mentored kiyosaki, and his real father, an academic — as models of two starkly different approaches to finance. kiyosaki's many insights for individual investors include: — how to raise capital for investments without going to the bank– why a high salary alone can't create real wealth– why "study hard, get good grades, find a secure job" is the most dangerous advice a parent can give
Reviews:
Robert Kyosaki- Rich Dad Poor Dad is the book that has caused me to 'Think Big'. His formula for success has been tried and proven.Do not believe for one minute after reading this book that education (ie going to school, getting a university degree) is not important. However, look at a number of the rich and famous. Were they always the brightest in school? NO!!!!!! But they had TALENT and a natural knack to succeed. Quite frankly, it is so hard to get a job these days. Many of our young people are coming out of the colleges and universities to sit and do nothing. There are only a few who would think outside the box and try something different. The ones who tend to be different, who are SMART risk takers, who rises every time they fall, who learns from their mistakes and the mistakes of others- tend to succeed. The book is so easy to read. The illustrations that the author use is clear. The text is so easy on the eyes and the language comprehend able so even the average man can understand, be motivated and to be different from the crowd.jm_miche
MOST AMAZING SELF – HELP BOOK I READ SO FAR (Finance related). I have read many books till now but no one can compete Rich Dad and Poor Dad so far. One word to describe it- EYE OPENER A Must read book for everyone. I would definitely recommend to read it once, it's definitely gonna blow your mind.d.d
Phenomenal writing. Maybe the best financial advice offered in a century. Kiyosaki is articulate as he weaves his tale of life experience from mediocre living to great wealth. I know from experience his information is true, because I was taught this when I was young. Rich Dad, Poor Dad should be required reading for all teenagers and adults alike who do not understand how to read the financial pages in the newspaper. He breaks the complexities of economists and bankers down into bite sized pieces for the layman.ashley.r

Reviews:
Very easy read. Very relatable. Very insightful. Was not to sure I would like the book. Why? Because I felt Rachel Cruz was not genuine. But in the book she touched on how she tends to care how people view her and then I said “Well alright a breath of honesty”. Allowed me to respect her for calling herself out and knowing she needs to watch her own motivations on why she does things. With that I ended up loving the book and finding it extremely helpful. Thank you Rachel for being honest to who you are and humbling yourself to let the world know that you know your flaws and you work on them too!Doreen N.
An unbelieveably accurate view of money from an accurate unique point of view. My dad was an immigrant I was the middle child of 4 boys and an older sister. My dad was a college language professor. we ate well and farmed vacant lots in neighborhood. I was in high school the talent show night.A guy in my class had a little brother just like me in the class below us. The night of the show they both had new suits.!! I was so shocked WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR OLD SUIT??? My older brother got a new suit, I got his, then my younger brother got mine, and the youngest brother got his.!! I thought the whole world wore hand me downs??!! I never got over that punch in the gut of life, We were poor.!!I thought we were normal.!! I flew cargo jets in the USAF one day after flying wounded solders on their way stateside I met one of the nurses at the club for drinks and dinner. She had gone to Ole Miss. and joined a Sorority we talked after many drinks. She brought several girls to her home one weekend. The girls were sitting on the porch after dinner when one of the girls said "I can't believe your folks live in abject poverty and sent you to college. She broke down in tears when telling this story after treating fifty terribly wounded and many drinks. It was a real eye opener into other peoples view of life and money. She had thought she was soo normal until then. I don't know where I fall on most of your scales. I was so immature and naive. I know dad hated Salesman.! I think he felt he was always being taken advantage of when we had to buy something. He bought a '48 mercury when he got out of the AF in '49. we still had that car when I graduated from UK. And was glad when it was my turn to drive it. I'll read it again I bought it for my oldest daughter working for Brain Balance really CURING Autism. She consults for the on in Franklin, too. Works 7 days a week counseling when not at a Brain Balance. Amazing work.!! Big Pharma fights them every day.!!Edward H.
Know Yourself Know Your Money was very illuminating. I am ashamed to say it, but I am a 64 year old woman who has never harnessed her finances. After reading Rachel's book I was able to recognize where some of my money dysfunction originated. Finances were a mystery to me, stuff came with employment when you got a paycheck, you could buy what you wanted. Until I started asking myself the difficult questions I was okay with my financial ignorance. Budgeting is still difficult, but I am attempting. I have paid off all debt except for my house. I have established the original $1000 emergency fund and I headed toward three months. I still have some money decision anxiety but when I read Rachel's book I was able to identify multiple issues that I need to address. But my anxiety is diminishing with every step I take. The one thing I have always had is the heart to give. I am thankful that Rachel's approach was tender enough to keep me interested in doing the work. Rachel made the process of handling money approachable.Gail N.
