The only negative comment I have is the discrepancy on your photo for the cherry wood color, it looked black to me. The only negative in the style is we wish it was a little taller. The armoire arrived in a perfectly packed box. But there scratches on one side. Hayneedle was 100% efficient and honest in making amends for this issue. I did supply a picture of the damage and was given the choice to send it back or receive a discount, so we could effect the repairs ourselves. We chose the discount. I am very pleased with my jewelry armoire. It was well packed and sealed. The economy delivery by Fedex arrived several days before projected date and was in perfect condition. The tracking information was very helpful to know actual day delivery would be made. The holding capacity is large. The bottom drawers are not divided which would make a nice storage for scarves or boxed jewelry. I especially like the drawer peg stops to keep accidents from happening, like spilling contents if pulled out too fast. The side panels will hold several necklaces on one hook and the rope loop keeps items from getting caught in the doors. All I had to do was screw on the legs and 3 little screws for the lid. It was packaged very well, and not one piece was missing or damaged. I had the opportunity to check this jewelry armoire out at a demo event last week and I absolutely loved it! I am writing this review as part of a contest, but it reflects my honest opinion about how well this piece of furniture solves the problem of keeping all your jewelry organized and accessible in a way that adds to the aesthetic of your room. The first thing to jump out at you is the color of the wood. The walnut finish emanates warmth throughout a space in a way that would add just as much to a traditionally styled room as it would to a modern one. Both sides swing out to reveal tangle-free necklace panels, and there are 7 pull-out drawers topped by a traditional jewelry box and sturdy hinge-swing mirror. All are lined with a felt that is supposedly engineered to have properties that ward off tarnish. If nothing else, that provides me with a little peace of mind. Silver is my absolute favorite, so this is always somewhat top of mind when I’m considering storage. The whole thing towers over three feet tall, which is the right size to never have to worry about where to store all your necklaces, bracelets, earrings and regular rings again! I could seriously double my collection and still find a place for it all in this armoire. It can also double as a nightstand if you have a particularly lofty bed. Every last detail seems to be straight out of a fairytale, down to the old-fashioned key on a tassel. The best part is it actually works, and I can lock my watches up when I leave the house for more than the day. When the armoire arrived, you could tell it had been hand-wrapped, packaged tightly but with plenty of extra protection. This thing could’ve survived a fall off the back of the delivery truck (that didn’t happen; it arrived safe and sound!). But even if something had happened, Hives and Honey has a stellar customer service team. I reached out to them about a lost piece of hardware for a nightstand I bought last year and they had it in the mail that day for free. No questions asked. This is how customer service should be handled in the age of ecommerce. Overall, I’m a fan. The quality of the craftwork is obvious upon sight, and you can tell the materials are solid too. The one downside is the price tag – there are plenty of cheaper options out there. That said, I have no problem paying for quality in this day and age. This armoire will not disappoint.
Wow. I am completely in love with this jewelry armoire. It is the perfect addition to my bedroom and adds elegance to my room decor. The crisp white finish makes it easy to pair with other furniture and patterns which is great because I can seamlessly add this new armoire to my exisiting room decoration. I personally have a lot of white and sandy wood furniture with pastel pinks and gold decorative accents (a glam and elegant room), and the aesthetic of this armoire fits perfectly with everything. It is the perfect size, not too big or small, and it is absolutely adorable. It has 7 drawers as well as a mirrored, locking compartment on top. The locking compartment is divided into four compartments, one specifically built with ring rolls to hold rings (see picture I attached). I really love the inside of the drawers as well, they are lined with anti-tarnish felt which prevents my expensive jewelry from getting scratched, preserves their condition, and keeps them from rolling around in the drawers. The first 3 drawers are divided into compartments for easy storage, and the last 4 drawers on the bottom have open space so you can have more freedom to put larger items or things other than jewelry inside. There is so much space for my jewelry in the first three drawers (for my earrings, bracelets, and rings) that I decided to put non jewelry items in the last four drawers! These drawers are deep and wide enough to house some of my makeup palettes and other makeup compacts, which is so convenient. I was also really surprised to find out that this armoire features side doors to hang your long necklaces! This is one of my favorite features because it saves space and is such a smart way to store my necklaces while keeping them from getting tangled. No more wasting time detangling my necklaces after they've been stored together in a small space! This armoire really helps me stay organized and that is one of the best results of having this armoire. The look of the armoire is gorgeous, it is painted with a crisp white finish with no streaks at all. The varnish makes it very smooth to the touch and makes it look and feel like top notch quality. The wood is solid and sturdy, and from the feel I can confirm that Hives and Honey definitely used hand crafted panels. I am so impressed and pleased with this armoire. I no longer have to have different jewelry boxes scattered around my house, I now have one compact, and eye catching piece of furniture to hold them all. Finally a gift for my wife even better than jewelry: somewhere for her to store all that jewelry that also looks beautiful! My wife has over the years lost a lot of jewelry she loves because she didn't have a great place to store it, often piling it up in trinket boxes on the bedroom dresser, bundling necklaces together that are impossible to detangle. This is really perfect for that, even better than a jewelry box (she has a couple of those she doesn't use because they're impractically constructed), because there is so much space, so many drawers and so many different types of storage. The top even flips up for additional storage! You can lay necklaces flat, there are ring compartments and other interesting configurations (I don't know much about jewelry storage but there are a lot of options here). The best part is that this particular piece is a nice walnut wood finish and stands alone. This way she has the option to remove the jewelry clutter on top of the dresser and make room for other kinds of clutter there (ha). Also it's worth it to note that as a piece of furniture, though smaller than a dresser, it seems very well made, plus doesn't take up much space. I read through all of the reviews before purchasing, and am glad to report no damage in transit and can confirm that assembly is simple and clear. The unit itself holds more than I had expected, so there is "room to grow," but I love the arrangement of components and I would recommend it to anyone. It looks so adorable with the weathered-looking teal wood surface. I would agree with several reviewers that it's mildly inconvenient that the top must be opened in order to access the drawers, and that means you can't really put anything on top of the chest if you use it frequently, but it's a nice stand-alone piece anyway so I don't mind.Bsheebs

I was pleasantly surprised when I exchanged some items from my old armoire to this one. It held everything from that drawer yet better organized. I like that I can set something on top and still access the top section. Also my old armoire needed to set out from the wall because of where the hinges are located but this one can go against the wall. I had the opportunity to check this jewelry armoire out at a demo event last week and I absolutely loved it! I am writing this review as part of a contest, but it reflects my honest opinion about how well this piece of furniture solves the problem of keeping all your jewelry organized and accessible in a way that adds to the aesthetic of your room. The first thing to jump out at you is the color of the wood. The walnut finish emanates warmth throughout a space in a way that would add just as much to a traditionally styled room as it would to a modern one. Both sides swing out to reveal tangle-free necklace panels, and there are 7 pull-out drawers topped by a traditional jewelry box and sturdy hinge-swing mirror. All are lined with a felt that is supposedly engineered to have properties that ward off tarnish. If nothing else, that provides me with a little peace of mind. Silver is my absolute favorite, so this is always somewhat top of mind when I’m considering storage. The whole thing towers over three feet tall, which is the right size to never have to worry about where to store all your necklaces, bracelets, earrings and regular rings again! I could seriously double my collection and still find a place for it all in this armoire. It can also double as a nightstand if you have a particularly lofty bed. Every last detail seems to be straight out of a fairytale, down to the old-fashioned key on a tassel. The best part is it actually works, and I can lock my watches up when I leave the house for more than the day. When the armoire arrived, you could tell it had been hand-wrapped, packaged tightly but with plenty of extra protection. This thing could’ve survived a fall off the back of the delivery truck (that didn’t happen; it arrived safe and sound!). But even if something had happened, Hives and Honey has a stellar customer service team. I reached out to them about a lost piece of hardware for a nightstand I bought last year and they had it in the mail that day for free. No questions asked. This is how customer service should be handled in the age of ecommerce. Overall, I’m a fan. The quality of the craftwork is obvious upon sight, and you can tell the materials are solid too. The one downside is the price tag – there are plenty of cheaper options out there. That said, I have no problem paying for quality in this day and age. This armoire will not disappoint.
Wow. I am completely in love with this jewelry armoire. It is the perfect addition to my bedroom and adds elegance to my room decor. The crisp white finish makes it easy to pair with other furniture and patterns which is great because I can seamlessly add this new armoire to my exisiting room decoration. I personally have a lot of white and sandy wood furniture with pastel pinks and gold decorative accents (a glam and elegant room), and the aesthetic of this armoire fits perfectly with everything. It is the perfect size, not too big or small, and it is absolutely adorable. It has 7 drawers as well as a mirrored, locking compartment on top. The locking compartment is divided into four compartments, one specifically built with ring rolls to hold rings (see picture I attached). I really love the inside of the drawers as well, they are lined with anti-tarnish felt which prevents my expensive jewelry from getting scratched, preserves their condition, and keeps them from rolling around in the drawers. The first 3 drawers are divided into compartments for easy storage, and the last 4 drawers on the bottom have open space so you can have more freedom to put larger items or things other than jewelry inside. There is so much space for my jewelry in the first three drawers (for my earrings, bracelets, and rings) that I decided to put non jewelry items in the last four drawers! These drawers are deep and wide enough to house some of my makeup palettes and other makeup compacts, which is so convenient. I was also really surprised to find out that this armoire features side doors to hang your long necklaces! This is one of my favorite features because it saves space and is such a smart way to store my necklaces while keeping them from getting tangled. No more wasting time detangling my necklaces after they've been stored together in a small space! This armoire really helps me stay organized and that is one of the best results of having this armoire. The look of the armoire is gorgeous, it is painted with a crisp white finish with no streaks at all. The varnish makes it very smooth to the touch and makes it look and feel like top notch quality. The wood is solid and sturdy, and from the feel I can confirm that Hives and Honey definitely used hand crafted panels. I am so impressed and pleased with this armoire. I no longer have to have different jewelry boxes scattered around my house, I now have one compact, and eye catching piece of furniture to hold them all. Finally a gift for my wife even better than jewelry: somewhere for her to store all that jewelry that also looks beautiful! My wife has over the years lost a lot of jewelry she loves because she didn't have a great place to store it, often piling it up in trinket boxes on the bedroom dresser, bundling necklaces together that are impossible to detangle. This is really perfect for that, even better than a jewelry box (she has a couple of those she doesn't use because they're impractically constructed), because there is so much space, so many drawers and so many different types of storage. The top even flips up for additional storage! You can lay necklaces flat, there are ring compartments and other interesting configurations (I don't know much about jewelry storage but there are a lot of options here). The best part is that this particular piece is a nice walnut wood finish and stands alone. This way she has the option to remove the jewelry clutter on top of the dresser and make room for other kinds of clutter there (ha). Also it's worth it to note that as a piece of furniture, though smaller than a dresser, it seems very well made, plus doesn't take up much space. I hung 3 of these In a hall between my bedroom and bathroom for a decorative functional look. They look awesome and my jewelry is all at my level hanging where I can easily chose what to wear. I use one for gold, one for silver and another for jewelry that is stone or other type of chain (cloth, string, leather etc). I do plan to add a battery operated light inside each.Tammy
