20 Best 64 Oz Water Bottle (2023 Update)

This is my first ThermoFlask product and it's definitely worth the money. I like the little touches like the rubber grip around the cap to make taking it off easier. So far it has been leak-proof since I started using it and I appreciate that it can go in the dishwasher since I use this almost everyday. These bottles are AMAZING! First of all, I love the color (I bought Strawberry). I have some other Takeya bottles, but they are only 24 oz. I drink water all day long and with this larger bottle, I won't have to fill it up as much. I put ice in mine, and the water stays cold even if I leave it in the car while I am shopping. Down side is this bottle won't fit in my cup holder, but with the leak-proof cap, it will be ok to just throw it in the passenger seat. My other bottles have a flap on the cap seal that makes it easy to remove and clean, but this one does not. It's a great brand. You won't be disappointed with ANY of the bottles. I added cold water this morning and have been drinking from it all day and the water is still cold! I love the spout, it makes it easy for me to drink from without making a mess. I especially like the carrying loop on the lid as it makes it easy for me to grab and go when my arms are full leaving the house. I like that the lid to the spout can be tightened really well so I can feel confident it won’t leak of it tips over in my car. I was given this bottle(64oz graphite) in hopes of being able to stay hydrated and have cold water with me all the time. This bottle was absolutely AMAZING! I was never much of a water drinker but once I got this bottle, filled it about half full of ice, dropped a lemonade flavoring packet in it, I was hooked. The bottle went EVERYWHERE with me, my kid decorated the outside with a few stickers, and I felt almost a sentimental connection to it. Never sweat, ice stayed as ice for a LONG time, and it never leaked or let me down. Sadly, someone apparently loved it more than I did and they stole it from me while at the drag races with my kids this last weekend. I'm hoping to be buying another one soon.Michael F.

This cup is incredibly cute and the perfect size. The body of the simple modern water bottles insulates well and has a solid build that feels good in the hand. The coating seems very sturdy and left in a hot car in the Texas summer I often can come back to ice after a few hours. The drawback to this is that it takes the ice a long time to melt. That is where the good ends. I use this primarily for water because when I first got it any cold/hot beverages would explode from the top when the sipping arm was raised. This baffled me so at some point I just kept the arm raised between sips to avoid the explosion when I could. Fast forward a few months and no more explosive water but the lid now leaks like crazy. I discovered an x shaped space in the sipping arm groove that is the culprit. It seems the alternating problems of exploding and leaking probably revolve around some now missing piece of the lid that’s function was to release built up pressure from the interior of the bottle. Wish the company would work on this issue. Avoid this and spend the extra bucks for a Zojuroshi or equivalent cup maker for a better experience.Simple modern

I have 5 year old 32oz Summit bottle from Simple Modern that I love but is scratched and dented. It works great: so I wanted an upgrade so I bought another one for a golf trip and it felt different and much lighter. So I did a test on my own: filled them both up with same amount and ice and water and put then on the floor next to my bed overnight while I slept. Temperature was 69 and pleasant in the house. The new bottle water was completely melted and my 5 year old bottle was still full of ice and water and cold as the night before. I was really disappointed in the new one since I was so excited only to find out it is obviously made with lesser quality material and poor performance as a result. I have dehydrated in the past and rushed to the local hospital so having a drinking container with me at all times is imperative. I love ice cold water and I drink about 6-10 of the 32 oz containers per day. This marble colored 320z Summit container is very poor quality. My kids try to talk me in to a Yeti or HydroFlask, but I said I love my current bottle, however I may need to switch companies now.Bob M.

I wanted a large bottle with volume measurement and motivational phrases that weren’t corny, PLUS a straw lid. The Titan was perfect! It holds enough water to last me an entire kickboxing workout and the car ride home. The rubber bottom ensures that it can take a drop or two. Although it’s wide, the height it just right. I would rather have a stout bottle than one that is oddly tall. I wish I found this before wasting money on Nalgenes and Blender Bottles.KavaBuggy

This water bottle is my favorite ever. I have two because they’re so amazing. The size is perfect and not too bulky, you can see how much you’ve drank and how far you have to go, the handle is my favorite on any water bottle I have ever tried, it has a straw that can be removed and washed easily, and it even has a silicone ring on the bottom so it is slip resistant- and the ring is removable so it can be washed. I bought this for my daughters, ages 13 and 15, to keep with them while they are at school and dance classes. It has really helped keep them on track with staying hydrated due to the times on the bottle. The ice does melt pretty fast, but it doesn't seem to bother them too much. For spending over 20, I was expecting a thermos to be better insulated. It seems to keep my son's water cold while he's at soccer but it sweats. It seems to be a fairly tight seal and he likes the color and that the option is there to hang it from a chain link fence. Our son is not known for being the best about staying hydrated and I do think this bottle has helped. It's fairly easy to clean, and I do like the big sturdy handle along the side. I wouldn't go out and buy multiple of this design, but I'm okay with keeping this one around.GDSP

Water remained cold all day until finished for the two jugs taken on our trip with only a couple inches of ice put in in the morning. The fixed position handle with the hooks is the only reason for removing a star, it makes carrying and positioning awkward and uncomfortable. Over all a fantastic jug with pretty colors (Cerise and Royal). The teardrop mouth piece is perfect too! It allows airflow for smooth drinking from the spout. Nice seal too. The rubber side/drinking handle is comfy for drinking. Would certainly buy another one without hesitation. It's great having all of the required water intake at your fingertips, will def use for work too.RNME

For a large capacity insulated flask it is surprisingly light when empty. The flask keeps iced water for days when filled with ice before filling. It is reasinably easy to drink from but is much more user friendly when mated with the strawcap and it does not loose that much insulating effiency compared ti the stock cap. The bottle is easy to clean as well. The capacity gives me a days worth of iced water without needing to refill. Quality is excellent with a durable finishANDREW M.

I love the color and this keeps my tea hot for the entire day. I make a huge pot of Rasa tea every morning and pour it into here to have throughout my day. This container is perfect for that. I also bought a twist-sip lid for easier pouring. Though this is a big container, I can actually sip out of it when something less steaming hot is inside. The carry handle is convenient and strong even when full. No complaints on this one, other than wanting more slim lid color choices and a request for fun protective silicone sleeves to jazz up the bottle.Christine V

I take this with me on all road-trips as the ice stays cold for days. Its nice and tight lid stops all leaks and there’s no condensation like many other bottles. I bought this for my daughter who plays tournament softball and had previously bought cheap ones from walmart that ended up leaking after maybe a week of use. My daughter has had this one for about 6-8 mths and it has not leaked and keeps drinks cold all day and it has taken some rough handling. I was so impressed, I bought one for my four year old for her softball games. Its almost too big for her, so I only fill it up half way for her to be able to pick it up and handle it. Not much to say about an insulated water. It seems like there must be 100 different brands to choose from these days. As a fan of pelican products I wanted to give this a try and it did not disappoint. Built rock solid and I really like the matte black finish. I can attest it will easily keep ice for over 72 hours because I tested it before using it. Not that you really need a water bottle of this size to hold water for 3 or more days but its nice to know it can. For those wondering, it does fit in my cupholder although it is a snug fit. Id also like to point out all the accessory tops for yeti bottles will fit perfectly on this bottle. I personally bought a yeti chug mug top for days Im in and out of the bottle alot and it works perfectly and is much more convenient. For days that I know I wont be in and out of the bottle as much, I use the original top because it holds ice longer than the yeti. All in all, Im very happy with my purchase! I absolutely adore this little thing. The wide handle on the cap comfortably fits three average sized fingers and with the rubberized grip its easy to carry with any number of fingers in any orientation. The powder finish makes it easy to grip even when wet, and the base is a grippy rubber that provides great stability, even when filled.I was concerned that it would be a pain to drink out of having to open it each time but the lid comes off in two quick turns. The lip is rounded making it one of the most comfortable bottles Ive drank from. I use it as an all-day, all-purpose canteen and cucumber water easily stays cool for 12 hours overnight, but I usually refresh it in the morning so I havent tested the 24 hour claim. Ill also use it for sweet chai and it easily keeps comfortably steamy overnight.On top of that, the bottle is easy to clean, a bit small for a hand so a bottle brush is a must. There are three components: the bottle interior, the lid, and a removable rubber gasket on the lid. That rubber gasket creates a first seal, but the grey (black model) rubberized portion at the base of the lid acts as a secondary seal which prevents ant liquid from the threads leaking.Overall this bottle has replaced drinking glasses and mugs almost entirely for me and I suspect it would perform just as well for picnics, walkabouts, and certainly hiking (be conscious of the amount you need though, its no camelbak).Patrick

There is also another rubber washer that is easily removable/washable. I have tried several other brands of water bottles and this one does not dissapoint. I have found it to be slightly lighter than others I have tried, yet it feels just as sturdy as others with the same price point. This is not a cheap water bottle, but it does keep your drinks cool even after several hours sitting in the hot Florida sun while you are on the pickleball court. I haven't tried it past about 6 hours sitting on the court, but even at that point, I had a cold drink with ice still left in the bottle. The entire time, the bottle was sitting in direct sunlight. I did get the blue version of the bottle not knowing how heat might get absorbed by the sun. Based on how cold everything stayed, it is probably safe to choose any color.FlMike

I used to have a problem where I kept buying water bottles. So many water bottles. Hydroflasks of all of the sizes, stainless steel cups with straws, collapsable water bottles, you name it. This 24 oz Takeya is the ONE. Now that I've found her, I've stopped impulsively buying bottles. This beauty fits perfectly in a cup holder, it's not top heavy (like the skinny hydroflask of a similar capacity), it HAS A STRAW that does not leak (rectangle shape doesn't bother me at all), comes with a bottom bumper (no clanging when you set it down), looks sleek and cute, it's a great price, and most importantly it's the right size to keep it from being awkward and heavy but still holds the right amount of water to keep me hydrated for a couple hours on the go. I supposed the only downside is that it doesn't hold every drop i need for the day, but oh well, I just refill it every few hours. So I bought this bottle as my daughters previous bottle was plastic and it always seemed to give a plastic taste once the water sat in it for a while particularly in warmer weather. My daughter isn’t a big water drinker actually she’s just not a good drinker period. That’s always been hard for me to get her to drink. With this bottle it seems much easier. The water stays cold even if not refrigerated and the quantity seems just right for her. Not too little not too much. I purchased two of these. One of them is great and I love it. The other one must have had an issue and there is mold growing by the handle. I understand defects happen, but I reached out to the manufacturer via their email system and they never responded. Terrible customer service. My other one still seems to be okay but obviously I am quite nervous to use it since my other one had the mold issue. Its hard to see in the photo but the mold is almost sandwiched between the handle grip and the plastic, so there is no way to clean it. Even running it through the dishwasher didnt work. I drink a ton of water all the time. I ordered this online unsure about it. After I got it I was so pleased with it. Comfortable handle, antimicrobial design, internal straw design and air hole in cover lets you drink very easily as much as you want at a time, the mouthpiece is very comfortable, this definitely deserves 5 stars. I love this water bottle. I haven't experienced any issues with leaking, although I will say I don't put it in the dishwasher, I handwash it only. I'm afraid the dishwasher might warp it. Also, another reviewer said it only works for right-handed people. That's definitely not true. You can just turn the lid around before you screw it on so the handle is on the left.curlyfries1

My Hydro Flask is the best water bottle I have ever had. With all the different colors and sizes to choose from, I had an easy time finding the one I liked most. They are easy to take with you wherever you go as well. Personalization wise, they are very good with stickers. You can put on whatever stickers you want to make it more personal to you. I have put stickers on mine and none of them are even close to coming off. Just make sure when you put one on, you want it on for good. Another thing I like is how there are many different types of lids that you can use and switch out whenever you want. In the mornings, when I put water and ice in my Hydro Flask, I can leave it somewhere for the whole day and when I come back for it, the ice is still there. Or when it is cold and I’m wanting some hot chocolate, I could bring it in my Hydro Flask and it would stay warm for a really long period of time. None of my other water bottles or containers can do that. The Hydro Flask that I have now has lasted me 3 years and is still in almost perfect condition. The only reason it wouldn’t be in perfect condition is because I drop it every once in a while and it has some scratches and a couple dents. If I was more careful, it would look brand new. The Hydroflask 32 oz wide mouth is an absolute necessity for me! My drinks stay cold, my ice lasts all day and with the large capacity–I'm not constantly needing to refill it . The hot drinks stay hot for hours as well! This is solid, metal and has survived many accidental drops and still looks brand new. Ice easily fits in the wide spout without any extra steps. The handle is solid and perfect for carrying on the go. This water bottle is absolutely leak proof, I can comfortably toss in my bag and know it is not leaking at all. I’ve had this for a few weeks now. Was excited to purchase this for my coffee since my other Hydroflask products have worked so well, but with cold liquids. Unfortunately, the design of the lid is not airtight and drinks will only remain hot for 2hours max. This is a glaring issue considering my standard s’well bottles, w/ a fraction Hydroflask’s insulation are able to keep liquids hot for up to 12hours. Hydroflask should be more transparent about this or offer a standard lid for the 12oz to ensure maximum insulation. Edit: I stand by my original review, however I gave it a higher rating because while it only keeps liquids hot for 2 hours max and very lukewarm by 4 hours, the design of the lid that causes heat loss isn't flawed, it's the only way a small flask is able to prevent pressure build up from a hot liquid. Also 12oz of liquid is bound to be consumed in a short time, so it negates a need to keep it hot for 8hours. BUT Hydroflask should revise their claims to more accurately represent the time these containers keep liquids hot.sstw01

I bought a 40oz Wide Mouth bottle with straw cap and have been using it for the past 2 years now and never will I ever be using anything else. I use it for cool to iced water daily but love that if I mix in some fruit or any type of flavor into it, the taste does not linger. Now this is only on occasions where either I want to have fancy water, or let's face it, when I'm not being lazy and actually cut up fruit. I use it everyday at work (and now the "new" office aka Stay at Home/Work Safe orders aka "At home now ever since…'It' happened") and even though I loved getting up 28 times during the morning to go fill it up and then another 92 in the afternoon, it was time to upgrade and get a bigger size. Lo and behold the behemoth. Big Bertha. The Mother Ship. The 64oz. bottle. As eager as I was to order, something else caught my eye and now lo-lo and behold-hold (x2) the Growler. What really caught my eye was the handle. More volume, more weight. I just personally liked the idea better of having a sturdy handle rather than the normal wide-mouth lid with the strap. At the time, I didn't order another straw lid because I would just use the ones I currently have (2 wide-mouth straw lids) and honestly didn't think anything of it since they're almost all compatible within the same line and the 64oz. behemoth still uses the same lid. Upon receiving Big Bertha and eagerly washing it up to put it to use immediately, I was saddened 🙁 to find out that since the threads go inside the bottle. I still love the bottle but dread the time(s) during the day when I pick the thing up a little too thirsty, forget about the laws of physics and take too fast of a swig and then have a sudden tsunami drown my face. Now that's an exaggeration but you get the idea. Like I said I still love the Growler, but what would make me Love or LOVE the Growler, is if y'all could drill an opening, and add a straw for this one too pretty pretty please. The 64oz Bottle and the Growler are basically sisters so why not give the Growler the same accessories, but just configured for her. I know that the Growler is targeted for beer enthusiasts with the sealed carbonation technology and having adult fun juice easily accessible by a straw isn't maybe the best, but this one is almost perfect for us who were annoyed at the number of times we would get up to refill and love the sturdy handle. Now this costs a pretty penny so buying another one isn't the best option right now and also exchanging it went out the window because I thought I could just get used to it and move on and the return/exchange window flew on by. I am used to it and yes I am 100% capable of drinking water from a jug like any other human, but for the times where you just forget how to life and splash yourself and get some on your shirt, how I wish this lid existed and which is why I've been able to adjust but just can't move on. Like I said, amazing product, does what I need it to do and then some, but what would make it perfect and a five star rating from me would be a straw lid for the Growler. I'm writing this to hopefully get some attention again on this as I was going through and looks like this has been something that others have been hoping for since 4 years ago. I carry a half gallon bottle with me everywhere because I drink a lot of water, but the plastic bottles need replaces multiple times per year because the straws break or the gasket comes out or I drop the bottle and break it…. stuff happens and those bottles, while they work, haven't been ideal. I got this 64oz "Growler" with the intentions of using it for water and it has not disappointed me. From the moment I tried it I've loved it. This bottle is Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y. It's stainless steel and it hasn't chipped or dented despite me dropping it a couple of times (not on purpose, I'm just pretty clumsy). I fear that I may break the plastic holder, but that isn't an issue yet! I love the narrow neck because it makes it easy to pour from or just drink directly from. Because this is stainless steel it probably would hurt if I banged my teeth on it, so I'm going to look for a straw that can fit in and stay in the bottle. This thing keeps my water at a desirable temperature until I need to refill it! I drink at least 2 day, and having cold water that entire time is nice. I can't wait to use this next summer when it's hot so I can keep my water ice cold! When it's full it IS heavy, but this isn't even something that bothers me because I was already used to carrying around a large bottle and this isn't that much heavier. Also, the large size may be inconvenient for some but like I said….I was already used to carrying around something large and I am not bothered by these minor inconveniences. I'd much rather be hydrated! This IS worth the hype! I love love love it.cortiz

Okay, so let me start by saying obviously when you get a 40 oz water container, it is going to be big, but this little jug is now referred to as the big mamma in our house. Stanley definitely made a quality product. The Iceflow cup is well designed. I like the carrying handle and the straw helps make drinking the water easier. The features listed on the cup are kind of funny – "can survive a speeding bullet, category 5 hurricane," in case you find yourself in those situations. While I love how much water this holds, and how cold it stays over a long period of time (5+ hours for me), this sucker gets HEAVY when full. Unlike some of my other stainless steel containers, this just feels heavy (is it due to being able to survive a bullet?). It can be awkward to hold/grip when you are trying to fill it. It didn't fit into my fridge well to be able to get water from there. However, the squat nature made it short enough to use the water dispenser at work. I LOVE the handle for carrying. We took the Iceflow with us to the lake and that make it significantly better to carry. Overall I really like this bottle, but it isn't one I can take to the gym. I find myself using it more when we are headed out to the beach/park/fishing at the lake. My husband plans on using it to go hunting later this year. In general the design gives off an outdoor vibe or working vibe. I can see this being good for someone who works outside maybe in construction or yard design.Monica

Very durable, it’s taken lots of dings and drops and hits, and I think it just looks cooler for it. As a Gen-Xer, I’ve covered this thing in stickers from places I’ve visited, so I only put the top and straw in the dishwasher, but the wide mouth bottle is super easy to scrub clean by hand with dish soap. I lost my first one, and couldn’t make it 36 hours without buying a new one. Then I found the original one, so now I have two! These go with me to the office, to theater rehearsals, to the beach, and when I travel.Roman

Originally I was considering buying one this size from hydro flask or yeti but there were two big things that made me pick this one. 1: It came with a straw stock, the other companies make you buy this extra and would make the cost close to double of this one. 2: The opening of the bottle is so wide and user friendly! I have hydro flasks and I don’t like that I have to put one ice cube in at a time, I can grab a whole handful of ice and stick it in this bottle all at once! Also it makes me feel more confident when I’m cleaning it, I can see throughly inside and I know it’s 100% clean every time. Great bottle, buy one, you won’t regret it!Luke
