Very few – as publishers want to encourage us to buy, buy, buy!! This is one book that will grow up with your child. This compilation features a whopping 44 stories, all selected by Janet Schulman who is a well respected Children's book editor and publisher! There are many stories and / or characters that will be familiar to children and adults; as stories range from the contemporary to old classics such as Babar and Curious George!! I think it was because of the size, the illustration, the die cut windows and the sound you make when you read it. Truth be told I purchased this book at a thrift store. It's an adorable little book. My two year old asks to read "No, No, David" all the time. It is a very easy read, funny, and has great illustrations. We play and "i spy" kind of game on most of the pages and have tons of fun. This is definitely a cute book to add to your childs library. I would no doubt purchase a copy from Walmart as a gift for a niece/nephew.MamaKhadijah
