it is a great product but it is bit priced on the high side that's why I gave it 4 stars.it will stick to almost any clean surface and makes a great bond for tile finish. Remember to coat unit you reach the correct thickness then cover it with tile. If you use on floor try not to walk on after it dry and immediately tile . Working boats might put pin holes on it. I like this paint coat alot. The application process is simple. The dried product is very fast to clean. It appears to be impermeable too cleaners I use too wipe base boards and walls clean. The paint is thick and will keep water out and off of your walls. I applied this too a basement storm door and am very pleased with the result. The uv sensitivity has not changed color noticeably or shown damage since the application 2 months ago. The paint has not split or chipped. I had a badly leaking block basement last year. After A LOT of research, I decided to use the Blue Max. I got 25 gallons of regular and 1 gallon of trowel grade to patch up the huge cracks where the mortar had failed and water was pouring in during heavy rain. Took me a day to patch up all the cracks and spray 2 coats on the entire inner basement walls. Since then, I haven't had a bit of water in the basement whatsoever!! This is truly an excellent product and I HIGHLY recommend it. Oh…don't forget the seam tape if you have cracks larger than 1/8". I can't say enough good things about Blue Max!!Mason

this works really well for a damp basement floor but gets dirty sooooo easily. i did the moisture test with a plastic bag and there was nothing after 2 days. you will need to go over it with floor paint if using for a floor. I did a garage floor paint and it seems to be holding up well. just don't expect to paint this on and be done. even on the wall section we painted it yellowed very quickly. you will need to paint over it again so maybe another product might have been better for me but the moisture barrier is really wht I got it for and that works so I am happy.chiner

What an absolute delight!! I have bought paint for a prior basement – spent twice as much, and the sediment ruined my floor. I covered a lime green wall with a tint of brown (done at the store – must be a light color as there is little room for them to add color). One coat was all it took. I did use mineral spirits to dilute the second gallon. If you are not used to waterproof paint, and compare it to traditional paint, you would not be able to appreciate this product. I cannot – especially for the price – advocate enough for this product. If you don't have to spend the money to get the best, why would you?Melinda

Tried out this Waterproof Patch and seal clear tape. This tape is extra sticky, durable, and really sticks where you place it. When I was cutting a piece of the tape, it would stick to the scissors. It stuck in place very well. I placed it on the bottom of my screen door to prevent cold air from coming in and it worked great. I felt no air coming in. Finally solved my asphalt crack issue. After applying Gorilla Black Waterproof Patch & Seal Liquid and allowing it to cure, apply a water base epoxy black sealer and walk away from having to deal with the problem year after year. The key is to prevent moisture from entering the cracked asphalt; the ability of the Gorilla patch & Seal to expand and contract with the weather makes it the idea sealer. Wow! This tape is awesome. We've used it twice so far and have a feeling will be using more. First use was on the rv where we were having a leak. Since applying to the top the leak is no more. The second was on a pipe that busted outside. With the demand on parts after the Texas freeze there are no supplies available. I put it on the crack and it is working for now. Life saver for sure. My next try is going to be on the garden hose so hopeful it will fix some bad areas. I love this miracle tape!Galvbarb

Rainguard Concrete sealer works great. I use Rainguard each year for 4 years on my daughter's house brick fascia which was flaking from freeze-thaw cycles. Rainguard stopped any further flaking. The concentrate is great to use and less expensive than premixed. I researched the silane-siloxane products and believe them to harden concrete surfaces the best. .
