I purchased this book so I didn’t have to use my beautiful alt cover… great setting/ adventure book can’t wait to play it! Great for any dnd playerJacob H
If you're looking for the Dragonlance setting, then obviously, you've found it. If you're *not*, and you're just looking for new D&D content, then there's a fair bit in here. A few magic items that might catch your eye, a new playable race, and (in my opinion) some modular pieces – i.e. a dungeon or two – that you can pop out and use in your own homebrew campaign world. There are also a LARGE number of new campaign-specific feats, which with a bit of tweaking could easily have their lore/flavour removed and used pretty much anywhere.Rob N.

Reviews:
An incredibly intelligent book. "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay" tells a heartfelt tale of escape, triumph and dejection in the face of adversity. Chabon writes with a style that is at once physically and mentally engaging. Keeping up with the excellent vocabulary is at times difficult, though it is definitely worth trying. The dividends are huge.
Old novel which I had never read. My son did ad recommended it to me. Let me borrow his book. LOVED IT! Found out afterwards that it's being turned into a miniseries. Can't wait. I liked the book so much – I gave my son back his copy and bought one of my own. A Pulitzer Prize winner, Well deserved. A fascinating story with wonderful characters. Chabon is a terrific writer.michaeedd-8
The more I read of Michael Chabon's work, the more I appreciate it. He creates wholly original and believable characters, situations, places. I like the unpretentious poetry of his word choices and sentence structure, and the vast amount of knowledge and research that support his creative choices. Wow – that sounds a little heavy, maybe a bit pretentious. But really, Mr. Chabon's work is a pleasure, you will be swept away by his brilliance but never put off by it – just BUY HIS STUFF AND READ IT! E-Bay is a great way to purchase as much of his work as you can get your hands on! Enjoy!!!mahrib
5. Love On The Brain [Book]

Product Details:
"like an avenging, purple-haired jedi bringing balance to the mansplained universe, bee kèonigswasser lives by a simple code: what would marie curie do? if nasa offered her the lead on a neuroengineering project — a literal dream come true after years scraping by on the crumbs of academia — marie would accept without hesitation. duh. but the mother of modern physics never had to co-lead with levi ward. sure, levi is attractive in a tall, dark, and piercing-eyes kind of way. and sure, he caught her in his powerfully corded arms like a romance novel hero when she accidentally damseled in distress on her first day in the lab. but levi made his feelings toward bee very clear in grad school — archenemies work best employed in their own galaxies far, far away. now, her equipment is missing, the staff is ignoring her, and bee finds her floundering career in somewhat of a pickle. perhaps it's her occipital cortex playing tricks on her, but bee could swear she can see levi softening into an ally, backing her plays, seconding her ideas … devouring her with those eyes. and the possibilities have all her neurons firing. but when it comes time to actually make a move and put her heart on the line, there's only one question that matters: what will bee kèonigswasser do?"–

Reviews:
I did like it. It doesn’t compare to the love hypothesis but I did enjoy it. Definitely a lot spicier in the love scenes. Is it my ultimate favorite? No but it was a good read.Mimi
Can I give is 0 stars? Love Hypothesis is the ONLY reason this book has any sort of HYPE. This book and characters are terrible. Its like the book has an agenda made by the author… MC is absolutely unlikable, feminist liberal with a nasty attitude and woe is me personality. Which absolutely insults and overshadows actual women in the real world, whose profession hold much respect for their intelligence in the fields this MC is. THIS BOOK IS GARBAGE. Just skip it. This author may be a ONE HIT WONDER. Like many Pandemic writers. Fingers crossed we get another enjoyable book like Love Hypothesis. I ended up returning this, couldn’t even finish a few chapters in.Literary Sassy Lassy
I didn't love this one nearly as much as her first book, The Love Hypothesis, but it was still a cute and enjoyable read. The end was a bit dramatic (and somehow also predictable?) for me, though.HabbinJabbins

Product Details:
Claire randall is leading a double life. she has a husband in one century, and a lover in another. in 1945, claire randall, a former combat nurse, is back from the war and reunited with her husband on a second honeymoon–when she innocently touches a boulder in one of the ancient stone circles that dot the british isles. suddenly she is a sassenach—an "outlander"—in a scotland torn by war and raiding border clans in the year of our lord1743. hurled back in time by forces she cannot understand, claire's destiny in soon inextricably intertwined with clan mackenzie and the forbidden castle leoch. she is catapulted without warning into the intrigues of lairds and spies that may threaten her life and shatter her heart. for here, james fraser, a gallant young scots warrior, shows her a passion so fierce and a love so absolute that claire becomes a woman torn between fidelity and desire and between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.
Reviews:
Outlander (also titled Cross Stitch) is the first book in the Outlander series by American author, Diana Gabaldon. Claire Beauchamp Randall, ex-army nurse, is on vacation in Scotland with her husband Frank, a historian. It’s 1946, and they are combining Frank’s quest for more information about his ancestors with the opportunity to reconnect after six years of wartime apart. Jonathan “Black Jack” Randall was apparently active in the area, back in the eighteenth century. A visit to the Standing Stones at Craigh na Dun goes awry when Claire suddenly finds herself at the edges of a battle between the English garrison and the Highlanders. It becomes apparent that this is no longer 1946. And while the garrison commander looks like Frank, and claims to be Jonathan Randall, his behaviour soon has her grateful for her rescue by a Highlander. Her nursing skills bring her in close contact with an injured Scottish outlaw, Jamie Fraser. Despite wanting desperately to get back to Frank in 1946, after four months, Claire is astounded to be married to Jamie, hunted by Randall and living in the primitive conditions of the eighteenth century. Even more surprisingly, she realises she is happy. But it is 1743, and Claire knows that the dramatic events of Culloden are not far off. Gabaldon gives the reader a tale that is part romance, part adventure, part historical and part sci-fi. She manages to include a Highland Gathering, plenty of fights and battles, torture, flogging, imprisonment, a wedding, a childbirth, a reunion, a channel crossing, a very novel prison escape, an opium-fuelled mental healing, a witch trial, quite a bit of sex and perhaps even a touch of magic. Despite the 800+ pages that contain a wealth of information about the Scottish Highlands in the eighteenth century, the characters and the plot are so compelling that this page-turner that will have readers seeking out the second volume in the series, Dragonfly in Amber. Addictive.
The book looks a little worse for wear. It's pretty yellowed and binding is broke in some areas. But it doesn't smell. It should have been cheaper since getting something in this condition at a garage sale would have been a quarter. At least it should have sad, poor condition but still readable.dpap39
The books have more detail than the tv series! I love the tv show but am anxious for any extra information from the books. Have started reading volume 1 already. Thanks for offering a great package deal!wave342918

Reviews:
This is not a book review- this is a love letter to Chloe Gong. Chloe, my darling, first of all, I'm breaking up with you. How could you think that doing that to me was okay? Playing with my heart like that? We're over and I'm taking the books. I want a divorce. Kindly, your (distraught) reader xx Our Violent Ends is Romeo and Juliet's much more attractive and loveable younger sibling. Being the youngest, I can definitely sympathise ;). This book is like a high school relationship- It's not perfect, but it got me laughing, squealing and crying. All the good stuff, ya know. But really the best part of this book was that it is one of the few I have read that managed to achieve the perfect balance of plot- vs. character-driven storyline. And that despite being a retelling of one of the most renowned tragedy's in literature, it forged its own completely original path while still staying true to its muse, and in my opinion was plenty more impactful than Shakespeare. Our Violent Ends is a true tragedy. Although this book may be discounted by others due to its status as a YA novel, it is definitely worth the read. My personal highlight of this book were the characters, who were easy to love and perfectly multifaceted and complex. Roma, Juliette, Marshall, Benedikt, Rosalie and Kathleen were all beautifully written and easily the best part of the book. I can't wait to read any and all of Chloe Gong's future books, after all we do have joint custody over the books.Sav 🎷🦖
I loved this so much! While I enjoyed These Violent Delights, Gong took it up several notches for the duology’s conclusion. In Our Violent Ends we get more banter, romance, and violence, of course! The plot kept my full attention from start to finish. My favorites romance tropes are enemies to lovers and star crossed lovers. We get both of these in this book and I was here for all of it! I didn’t know if we are getting a tragic or happy ending and was at the edge of my seat to find out!JesOneMorePage

Great 👍 book or audio book. Beautifully spoken and it flew by quickly. A nice book to relax and listen to. A great 👍 author. Heart 💗 words can't describe how much I love this book and the characters.amy.m
4.75/5 It would have been a solid 5 if it wasn't so long. Darlington was my fav. Alex had her moments but she was still precious. Dawes was my spirit animal, her personality complimented well with Alex. Bardugo can really give characters personalities that are unique to them. The writing was beautiful. Leigh Bardugo constructed some disturbing and harrowing scenes that had me scared for a good moment. Alex's backstory was so sad and depressing but it was one of my favourite backstories in this book. The structure required a lot of work. I understand that there was a lot of world-building that she needed to do, however, I felt like the book would have been better if she revised and rearrange some parts, if not, remove unnecessary elements. The dual storylines would have been smoother and less confusing. The plot twist was not unexpected. I was suspish of that person already, it did feel anti-climatic though. But I have to say it was creative and made the villain more intriguing and dangerous. The cliffhanger though. Now I have to countdown the days and please don't let it be years.Elias
I picked up this book without much expectation, it was there, and it intrigued me, and so I got it. What I found was a story so thrilling and easy to become lost within I devoured it in one sitting. Its dark, very dark in places, and it touches on some sensitive topics, but they are handled in such a way that it comes off as, above all, a vividly realistic imagining of what young adults from privileged backgrounds would do if given access to powers beyond those of the average person. A great read, that I cannot recommend enough.ZACHARIAS

Best book ever. Finished in three hours!Jenny
This book is just as good as the other three ! Definitely recommend !Nicole
The best parts of this book: the mystery and riddles/puzzles, it keeps you reading more and wanting more. As a fan of Nash I was glad to see more involvement this book. The development of Jameson was great to see. What I wish could change: what happened to Grayson. The character was confusing throughout the story and personality was all over the place for some reason.LJLee

Reviews:
Fantastic series of books for any science fiction lovers. The TV series is great as well and stays fairly true to the books. Well thought out and each book gets progressively better!Steven
The SyFi series alerted me to these stories. The books are worth reading even if you already watched the show. The story is well fleshed out and developed. The writing flows well. I love the characters even more in the book (if that's even possible). On an odd note, I like the size and print of the books as well. The don't feel like a cheap, quick print; thrown together to meet demand… Even though they are paperback. I also like the dimensions of the book (strange, I know). Not to small, not too large, makes it comfortable to sit and read.RAANA
I purchased the first book (Leviathan Wakes) separately and after loving it realized that I would end up acquiring the complete novel series eventually, so went ahead and purchased this box set. Even though it is just the first 3 main novels, it is the only set available. If the review were based on the writing alone, I would rate this 5/5. However, the books are paperback and I would have much preferred hardcover books for longevity and display purposes. Perhaps they will eventually provide a box set of the complete series, which would surely be appreciated by hardcore fans of The Expanse!Paul

A beautifully made book – very clear type and reproductions of original drawings. A long time since I read Treasure Island: this reminds me of the pleasure I had from a good book then – a tactile experience as much as anything. Well done ARCTURUSmjh1949
This is a great read. Suspenseful and exciting, complete with pirates, treasure, and curses! The original could be difficult to comprehend for young readers, but it's a great story. I read it aloud to my kiddos, with my best pirate accent. Lol.marissa.b
This a classic adventure tale about pirates and treasure! It's an excellent story for kids and for that reason is often included in school curriculum. This hardcover version would make a nice gift during the holidays. I highly recommend it!rachel.k

The sea of adventure is another great mystery adventure story with Philip, Dinah, Lucy-Ann, Jack and Kiki the parrot. They come across another adventure when they go on a trip to the Northern Isles. Then Bill is kidnapped and they must find a way to rescue Bill and beat their enemy. A brilliant series, highly recommended to all.
THE ADVENTURE SERIES THEY ARE THE BEST FOR A FIRST READ! Enid’s ‘Adventure’ books featuring Jack, Philip, Dinah, Lucy-Ann and Kiki the parrot were the catalyst which encouraged me to start reading more than 50 years ago. Thank you, Enid. The BBC, many public libraries, local authorities and alleged educational experts have been completely wrong about the worth of the Blyton works. I can remember having substantial difficulty obtaining the original books from the shops. In fact, quite a few shops would not stock them but they were wonderful stories for teenagers! The tales are great to read for their simplicity and straightforwardness. When one did find copies of the book they were quite expensive all those years ago but great to own. I loved the letter on the back cover from Enid in some editions and the physical appearance of the books as well which I treasured as a youngster with the way in which the books were produced then making them somehow much easier to read. It’s a delight to read these adventure stories again in middle age although recent editing has diminished some of the memories I have of the original editions and words used then (but I am now getting old). Never mind… these books remain one of my best friends for life: they began my own reading adventure so do read these special adventures for yourselves.PhillipTaylorMBE
Love these stories. Never go wrong with Enid Blyton. If you fancy bit of adventure read with your children. You dont want to stop reading until you know what has happened.boaabo_vf9naixg

WOW!!! Book is in excellent used condition!! Really extra nice dust jacket!!fishlind_nkqbexx
Great book! The movie doesn't do the book justice. Clive Cussler is a great adventure writer. I can't wait to read more of his novels. Dirk Pitt is such a cool character, almost James Bond-like. I also enjoy the historical tie-ins Clive Cussler uses. I will definitely be buying more of his novels in the future.tris428
