It is all the same pages that the actual bound textbook has, but in two separate 3-ring binders. 1 is smaller than the other. I start this A&P class in mid-Jan., but I really feel like this book in the "a la carte" style will definitely help me bcs I will be able to just take the chapters needed as they're needed. This book has helped me to give me the perfect grade score in class. It is very well written, has great charts, pictures, and sketches. I borrowed this book from a friend for this one class, but this text is soo good, I have decided to buy one for me to keep. Since the 6th edition is almost identical to this one, and many students still use it, this 7th edition text will be accurate and useful for the next 5 years. The only thing that changes every 4 years or so, is the cover, so "they" can keep on charging almost $200.00 for it. WELL WORTH IT.mightyspaniard

My wife needed this book for her Nursing program pre-requisite. It was half the price of the USED book at the school book store. Doing the math, she would have spent $140 (+tax) for a USED book and sold it back at the end of the semester (provided they still use it) for around $40, leaving a net out-of-pocket of $100 and no book to show for it. Now she has the book and can KEEP IT for $30 less! The book was page-for-page EXACTLY the same right down to the index. The only difference was that it is a soft cover (with different cover picture). Considering all the other books she has to lug around, the lighter soft cover was actually a plus! Great value!aztonyp
