A wonderful book allowing the readers to have fun while teaching young children to follow directions. I purchased this book from a school book fair one year not realizing how much enjoyment my family would have reading this book. I have never seen my grand children laugh so hard as we sat around the table and enjoyed following the directions inside this book. I can still "see" the reactions the younger ones had when they turned the pages to find out what the result of following the directions given to them revealed. I recommend this book for pure fun and for teaching younger children how to follow directions without teaching them to follow directions. We love to read books and learn something new. This book provided a fun and interactive way to learn the concept of following directions every child needs to learn to follow for everyday life to ready them for their school journey. It has been loaned to others to enjoy as well. We still read this book today after five years receiving the same teary eyes laughs we had from the first reading adventure.laffs54

Saw the book series reviewed in the daily paper. Thought, This is an ideal present for our 2yo grandson — because the Rocket Science concept will make his parents smile. Book arrived, I read it, thought, Yes, the parents will enjoy this. The toddler won't have a clue what it's about. Nana read the book to the toddler. A bit later — he brought the book back, asking for it to be read again… Then later, again ! We're not sure how much our 2yo is understanding from the book — but he is definitely *enjoying* reading it! Amazing ! Excellent 🙂 We're happy to read happy stories, animal stories, lessons about life stories, pointless stories… All are part of helping a toddler towards reading — whatever he likes — for himself. I bought these to try and help teach my little one basic words. What you’d think would be inside generally isn’t, quite disappointed for the money spent, wish I’d have just bought a 100 word picture book or something instead for a fraction of the price. Bought in store but they were wrapped so I couldn’t look inside the books. If I could return I would but I doubt they’ll take them back now they’re open.
