I installed this by myself, very easy to install if you have any plumbing experience. The filters performed exactly as said, ran cold water through it at the nearest tap for about 5 minutes till the black carbon residue quit coming. So far the water is great, however I haven't yet had it analyzed to ensure all the manganese and iron are being filtered out. We had very high iron and managanese in our town water. The softener couldn't remove it all. I installed the filters after the softener. No change in water pressure. Very happy with this.Cliff R

This system along with a water softener has improved our water quality great. If your into quality tea and coffee and drinking great tap water I think this is a great investment! showering, laundry etc. is also all improved. I could have maybe gone with just the two stage to be honest. My system is a pre-filter WSP-50 / EcoPure softener EP31007 / 3 stage filter WGB32B with a bypass for service. Installation notes: – Manual states 1" Male NTP inlet. that is incorrect, it is Female. Home Depot did not sell a fitting that I could find. My house is 1/2" copper so to go from 1/2" to 1" was challenging to find fittings. – Also note the NTP inlets are plastic, you can by accident tighten the fitting to far and start stripping and damaging the plastic. -I had to use both teflon tape and thread sealant to get a good seal. (Hercules Megaloc recommended.) – System is heavy and needs sturdy mounting.Guelph home owner

This is absolutely the best small kitchen appliance I have ever owned. It cooks the meat evenly and when done the meat is moist, very flavorful and tender. I simply pour olive oil in the bottom, put my chicken or pork in it, sprinkle my seasonings on (I use mostly the seasoning rubs such as Brown Sugar Bourben or Applewood and some others that are readily available at the supermarket.) You can put flash frozen chicken in it, such as the tenders and cook at 350 for 10 minutes per side, adding seasoning to the back side when you turn them over and it will melt in your mouth and the flavors are off the chart. My first one died and I just bought the one here to replace it. We ordered this on 01/29/2021 , with salt free conditioner and UV light + pro Kit , had a professional plumnber installed it. We origianlly had a whirl pool salt water softener , we removed it and replaced with complete aquasana system , salt free conditioner + 1 million gallon fliter , pre post filters along with Uv Light. Cold water seems good and clean but when we boil the water , white residue appeared in the boiled water, even in the hot water kettle. Called aquasana customer service waited for a while (there is no immediate answer) but they called back after couple of hours. discussed the issue and they said that it does not take out minerals and it could be calcium in your city water and will never go away even with aquasana system installed. We never had this issue when we had the salt water softener. the main purpose of salt free conditioner was to replace our salt water softer. Picture 1. We're amazed at the difference this filter system made in our water quality…..well worth the investment!!! Decided on the Aquasauna Rhino Well Water with UV system after researching a few other major competitors. Our well water had some sediment/sand that clogged aerators over time and a medium hardness that would leave scaling in the shower, etc. If water hadn't been used for a few days, our hot water had the typical well water sulfur smell for the first minute or so of use. This is actually iron bacteria smell, not sulfur, and the water conditioner completely eliminated it. I installed our system myself in about 6 hours and we''ve been using it for almost 3 months now. Obviously, the filter eliminated the sediment but we were pleasantly surprised that the conditioner significantly reduced the water hardness and the sulfur smell completely. Our well water is now crystal clear, bottled water quality – straight from the tap. The conditioner did "soften" the water but it's not slippery at all and the shower water has the perfect level of "softness." My wife didn't want the conditioner because she can't stand slippery soft water but she loves the resulting water condition from this system. We did have a very minor concern right after delivery. Customer service was very responsive and resolved our concern favorably. I highly recommend Aquasana! Last comment is that I added the pro-Grade install kit and recommend it for the larger pre/post filters. I didn't use any of the pex fittings in the kit and, instead, used sharkbite fittings which was a little pricier. I probably spent another $300 in pex and fittings to install including isolation/bypass valves and a drain valve for easy filter replacement. Also added a water meter so I'd know exactly how many gallons we use and identify any potential hidden water leaks in our system. If you're considering this system, purchase with confidence. It really does perform as advertised and the customer service is excellent…..oh, and you don't have to buy salt or dump it out on your lawn….Drew D
My water is horrible . They tell you it will improve so many things and it doesn’t . They tell you it will take care of everything it needs to and it doesn’t . ITS NOT MADE FOR WELL WATER! My water is super hard after it goes through this system. It doesn’t filter iron at all. You have to add many things to this system so take care of sediments that come through . Actual water companies do NOT recommend getting this as it also slows down your water pressure . Good drinking water ??? YEA RIGHT! After almost a year of trying to make this system work as it says it hasn’t happened . Nothing will fix this system. You’ll spend more money trying to add filters and odds and ins then the system cost ! Before purchasing this they told us this would be the best fit of course but that’s NOT the case this system is a disaster. It doesn’t remove ANYTHING they say removes . It has messed up my pipes and water heater, and also my appliances. This also doesn’t fix odor of water. It says you need to change the filter every 2 month, wrong I have to change it every month. I do not recommend at all
