This book is absolutely breathtaking. The details on every page made me cry. Minalima did such a perfect job bringing this book to life (which isn't a surprise since they are the graphic desigers for all the Harry Potter movies.) I love how the characters look just like they are described, less than what was shown in the movies. There are interactive peices that make the story so much better. I'm actually using this book to introduce my children to the Harry Potter books, since they have seen most of the movies now, and they love it. I could not stop myself from buying this. I hate J.K. Rowling, but oh my God… the paper crafts in this book are gorgeous and they're so entertaining. I've read Sorcerer's Stone multiple times, but it's never been THIS fun. Every page turned is a page closer to another beautiful paper craft that's straight from the Wizard World. Getting to touch Harry's Hogwarts letter or Dumbledore's pocket watch is so COOL. And the edges of the pages are gold. I can't get over this. I almost never want to bring it out of the house in case it gets damaged. I really hope they remake all the books like this.RILEY

I read this book in one sitting. I was immediately drawn into Harry's world of magic. I was reading the whole think thinking Snape was gonna be bad but got a huge plot twist during the final scene. I love this workbook! I am working with a couple students distance learning and this book as well as the writing and math one closely follows the curriculum the kids are working on with their teachers so I am able to use pages from the work books to reinforce what they are learning in class. The pages are colorful and fun. I wish there were more pages but for the price it has a good amount of content. I definitely recommend these books and I love that they are geared toward a specific grade rather than a range such as age 3-5. These books specifically cover what your child is learning in first grade.chattymom4
