Reviews:
This book Prophecy is exactly why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Getting a good financial education is what getting rich is all about. When the prophecy comes to fruition those who are prepared will profit and those who are not will not profit. The entire Rich Dad Advisors series is a must read for everyone who seeks to get out of the rat race or making themselves a better investor.theusedguru
I enjoy reading Robert Kiyosaki books. All of the books contain nuggets of wealth building information. More importantly though, they train the mindset of the reading to take control. After reading over 10 Rich Dad titles. I am resistant to hyped sales techniques that use emotional triggers. I have attended Rich Dad workshops and due to the complete control, I have stopped buying every NBT that I found. This title allows focus of the skill "control" and you begin to understand the difference between leading and following. I bought this as a lot of 10 titles, so I obtained it at a great price. I would gladly pay full price for this title to give as gifts. Knowledge of ERISA has changed my future. I thought I had this knowledge in 2000, but it has cost me dearly not to take "control" of my retirement investing, as I allowed companies to tell me I could not directly control my retirement investments. They were wrong, and my IRA was almost wiped out 9 years later.webrocks
I bought the book Prophecy exactly 1 month ago, and this book has a topic which cannot be ignored. Prophecy is right up there with all the books by Kiyosaki being in the excellent catagory. Robert discusses the importance of financial literacy we each need to have in order to negotiate the upcoming years as the Baby Boom population begins their retirement. What I liked about this book is that it presents the facts about our 401(k) and Roth IRA's that so many people have and how they will be affected by the boomers retiring. If you are tired of standing by and watching your retirement goals flounder and desire to take control of your own financial future, this book needs to be in your next shopping cart. Be mindful too, as this book is not going to tell you what to do, that is up to you. Happy reading!kace989

5. The Income Factory: An Investor’s Guide To Consistent Lifetime Returns [Book]

Product Details:
The proven, all-weather investing strategy that delivers long-term, consistent returnsthe most common investing approach today—one that values “growth” over all else— can be ineffective and counterproductive for many investors, not to mention needlessly stressful. now, one of seeking alpha’s most popular writers, steven bavaria, provides a groundbreaking alternative that will see you through all markets—up, down, and sideways. the income factory shows how to build an income stream that increases solidly and consistently—a result of re-investing and compounding the dividends. and the best part? this income stream actually grows faster during market downturns than during flat or rising market periods. the income factory sheds light on: – why “high-yield” doesn’t have to mean “high-risk” – how credit investments perform more predictably than equity investments – why “junk” is a misnomer—and why high-yield debt is safer than most of the stocks investors own – how to grow your wealth steadily without following the markets obsessively through bavaria’s strategy, cash income increases year after year at a predictable rate. for example, a 9% yielding portfolio doubles and re-doubles every 8 years. if you’re in for the long haul, an income factory lets you achieve your goals and still sleep well at night.investing does not have to be about picking specific horses and hoping they win the race. an income factory achieves its goals by essentially betting on horses to make it around the track and finish the race. those are easier bets to win, and they don’t require us to be glued to the financial news 24/7.

Reviews:
Good book definitely has changed my way of thinking.leviathafo_0
Reviews are weird… It's a book. The paper was light and crisp, making it inviting to turn the pages endlessly. It was too light to consider using as a weapon if needed though. Probably wouldn't make veryt good body armor either. The content of the book is good. If you're interested in buying real estate with little, or no money, down; this book has plenty of tips.rach3202
In hindsight I should have picked up in the title "no money" – this guy is a con man who has a poor editor and provides nothing but far fetched ideas that only loosely relate to properly investing and sound more like a school kid talking about what they would do if they found $1M. Like the scenario where you are a builder who flips houses and a Dr you know just happens to lend you $370k… what a great and applicable strategy that is to my lifePeco

10. The Bank Investor's Handbook [Book]

Product Details:
Quick! name an industry that touches people's lives on an everyday or frequent basis. perhaps you thought of grocery stores or something sexy like internet retailing, but chances are you didn't think of banking. yet, most likely you interact with a bank every time you're paid and when you pay your bills. banks facilitate the flow of money through the economy and even if you don't interact with a bank daily, the businesses you deal with on a daily basis do. for all the interaction people have with banks, few understand how they work or why they work. even fewer understand why they should consider including bank stocks in their investment portfolio. there are a lot of misconceptions about banks, including understanding what they are and what they do. for many people the word "bank" evokes images of receiving a toaster upon opening an account, or thoughts of security related to the storing of precious items in a safety deposit box. others might go further and tap their inner michael moore and talk about how banks are greedy and evil. it's our belief that banks aren't just places to store idle savings (on which you receive virtually nothing in interest) or to cash checks, but that they should be an integral part of an investor's portfolio. the goal of this book is to provide you with a foundation and framework with which you can both begin to understand banks, but also learn the basic tools used to analyze banks as investments.

The Good: Tons of ideas from numbers of world grade investors – People like Richard Russell and Dennis Gartman penned some of their experiences into words. The get-to-point-of-fact format that the editor made this book a real easy read(It's over 250 pages long.) It also cut out any non-essential (ie. inflated) FED's Data that tends to shows in graphs in other finicial books I read recently. The Bad: er.. covers? It's pretty ugly… no 3D holographic money sign. Just a homely little yellow book. The Ugly: A lot of things these investors talks about are so painfully simple that most of us non-pros (and pros alike – not all stockbrokers become rich) seem to missed. I don't know how many times I almost throw the book at the wall because it reminded of my past (and often, very dumb) mistakes. Conclusion: Well edit, well write, and wealth of ideas that can help you cash-in and avoid any costly mistakes. (This book is about 8 years late for me ^_^;) I would especially recommend this general idea book to any noobz who are interested going into the market – it will help you get a headstart and take out any posers out there.kirkevarer
I am in the middle of reading this one and I can say that if there are 100 people there will be 100 different Just One Things. That is, quite ironically, that there perhaps is no Just One Thing. You read this book and maybe you will be able to find one thing that most suitable to you. You can learn anything from anybody and this book offers numbres of world renown investors, it will be worth it.
