I used this book for my two boys to make sure they were good sleepers. Using the Baby Whisperer techniques my oldest slept through the night by 2 months, and my second son was sleeping through the night by 6 weeks. Currently they are wonderful sleepers at 4 and 2. Don't be put off by the hard to believe title. This book provides a common sense and kind approach that helped us tremendously when several others had failed. I really like this book. I wish I had read it before I had my daughter tho as after she was born I had only read the books about pregnancy and forgot that I didnt have a clue what to do after the birth. This is book is a really good guideline for setting your child up with good sleep habits. I took some and left some and didnt do it as strict routine as Tracey Hoggs but it definately did help. My daughter has the best sleeping habits now. Will have a 2 to 3 hour sleep a day and sleep through the night from about 7.30 sometimes earlier. She is 22 months old. Has also been sleeping through the night since about 6 months except when teething. I am reading up on this book before the next one is due. And will be giving a copy to my Sister in law.

Don’t listen to all the negative reviews on here about these books. People obviously don’t pay close enough attention to what they are purchasing. This is great for baby when teething or when are in the long stage of putting everything in their mouths. It’s extremely durable and washable. I couldn’t even rip it at all myself. The product sent did not look like the picture advertised. The pictures were less interesting and there were few dangly bits..only a pineapple and some crunchy fabric. I was very disappointed but it was Christmas and I was unwell so I kept it to give my new granddaughter.
